I mean screw BlackRock and ESG, but I don't really agree with this sentiment. I mean child sex changes is becoming a multi billion dollar a year business, I sure am not going to invest in that, no matter how much money I can make.
I don't think this is a minority opinion here. Everyone against it just knows that it would never be the bankers that lose out, and always be taxpayers.
You can tell she's a fake liberal because she doesn't have a beard.

I think part of the college application process should include you making and having a plan for how you're going to pay for it. Things like what kind of job can you get with X degree, what does that job market look like, projections on what it will look like when you enter it. Average salaries for said jobs, and an analysis of cost of living.
Simply going through that exercise would really spell it out for some people on the true worth of worthless degrees.
On the flip side, maybe your parents loaded? Is your education going to be paid for by them? Then by all means go for that liberal arts degree, but do the analysis on what happens afterwards. Are you going to be dependent on them forever?
But maybe even doing this wouldn't work, since there are now high paid positions with titles like Diversity Officer. Entities like BlackRock will definitely skew this type of analysis.
Another idea would be if colleges and universities get funded by getting a percentage of their students future salaries. That would align their motives with creating successful and useful members of society. (I don't know what the numbers would need to look like though, or for how long they would need to get a percentage). But can you imagine if these institutions were motivated by this? You would see useless classes disappear, and maybe even start including classes on career development and salary negotiation etc.. And lobbyists in this sector would start pushing for things like keeping jobs in the US.
Well clearly it was just 10 unfortunate people that had 500,000 issues, and the other 1,499,990 people were perfectly fine.
At first I was confused.. I was like "Santabank"? But then I got it haha
For reference, the Clinton Socks case refers to:
The case Farrell is referring to is titled Judicial Watch v. National Archives and Records Administration – also known as the “Clinton sock drawer” case. Former President Bill Clinton created White House audio tapes with historian Taylor Branch and stored them in his sock drawer. Judicial Watch sued to obtain access to the tapes and lost.
“He took them from the White House with him into private life,” said Farrell. “There’s classified material on those tapes and arguably it’s the sort of running stream of consciousness record of Bill Clinton’s presidency. Pretty important stuff.”
The Presidential Records Acts (I think these are the relevant parts?):
Places the responsibility for the custody and management of incumbent Presidential records with the President.
Requires that the President and his staff take all practical steps to file personal records separately from Presidential records.
Establishes in law that any incumbent Presidential records (whether textual or electronic) held on courtesy storage by the Archivist remain in the exclusive legal custody of the President and that any request or order for access to such records must be made to the President, not NARA.
I do have some of these, they are very pretty.
But just something to consider, the premiums on these are really really high. Just under double spot price for gold. Expect to be paying close to $4k per oz of actual gold. (But this holds true for most gold, the smaller the amount the higher the premiums)
Not trying to derail, but I'm confused by:
Next for me were the FBI agents spiking the hooch in the mountains.
What is this referring to? I did a search and all that came up was Ruby Ridge for some reason.. that does not seem to have anything to do with "hooch".
Haha I love that the cultural phenomena that is "Karen" can be fully encapsulated and conveyed simply through a haircut.
We're definitely missing context here, we completely miss what led up to it.. but I don't see how you can say using mace is justified. It's not some random criminal, it's a teacher, they are identified, they are not going to disappear. It's also on school property. You handle something like this in court, not by assaulting someone.
Doing a little bit of research (although not vetting sources, and just clicking the first results that come up) I seem to find this sentiment about phones and school:
Typically, state law permits the governing body of a school district, like your local school board, to create school policies about the possession and use of cellphones by students on school grounds. Schools take different approaches, which can make it difficult to know for certain what the cellphone policy is at a particular school.
If schools have a policy that bans personal electronic devices, including but not limited to cell phones, laptops or iPads, then teachers or administrators are allowed to confiscate these devices if students are using them against the policy.
This is 28:19 and worth every second. Definitely watch this!
I know it's a typo but it still makes me smile to read this haha.
It is not "Hey person in power, come blackmail yourself with us"
It is "Hey fucked up person with no morals, let us blackmail you and we will ensure you gain power"
This definitely needs to happen!
I think today, fascism, is used in a way that is a complete 180 reversed contradiction of what it used to mean.
One thing the left is actually really good at, is weaponizing language. Language is how people think, so you control the language, you control how people think. Say this scary word when referring to political rivals, and suddenly people will have bad associations with that person; regardless of it being true or not...
One of his comments said that one officer back at the precinct was wearing a "Don't tread on me" Hoodie.
How embarrassing. What could possibly be going through your head that you would think a stunt like this would do one iota of good?! The way they are prancing around, you can tell just how proud they are of themselves, Surrounded by clapping seals. Just sad
I actually don't think the government should have any say in sports one way or the other. The players, associations, and society as whole needs to get rid of this, not the government.
If replacing fire extinguishers with flamethrowers is supposed to be analogous to a good guy with a gun stopping a bad guy with a gun; then his solution would be analogous to banning fire extinguishers and only letting fire fighters carry them. After all why would anyone need their own fire extinguisher when you can just call the fire dept.
I doubt it would even be reliable if it did. Parody accounts exist even in these kinds of apps.
Just to be clear, this is not "bad grammar". This guy purposefully types out some kind of shit accent. He says he does it to avoid censors or some BS.
For anyone curious as to why the use of cluster munitions is considered a war crime:
