I mean zero detections as far as we know. For all we know they’re perfectly capable of detecting them by some fashion. It’s just a fashion they haven’t shared.

But detecting is one thing. The real trick would ultimately be stopping them.

Not completely sure how it is in California. But I’ve worked the Polls in my home state. But I doubt it’d be much different.

Working the Polls isn’t a particularly enjoyable experience. Hours are long. You don’t get much out of it. Even if it’s a State that pays poll workers. You also often come away from it with even less faith in the intelligence of the average voter and the system then you went in with. Seriously it’s ridiculously easy to play the system to get unpopular legislation passed via ballot measures.

I’d imagine at this point they’re probably also struggling to turn out enough poll workers for both major parties. As the Elderly Folks who often made up the reliable core are starting to die off or be rendered medically incapable of working the polls. And the younger are increasingly less and less interested in participating in a system they don’t see as working anymore.

And since it’s California and every solution they have is either toss money or illegals at it. Logically they’re tossing illegals at it.

Mental Illness is more or less a standard legal defense topic now. The Defense Lawyers Job is to get you off Scott free or with as few charges as possible. Regardless of whether or not you did it. A good defense lawyer will use every scummy tactic in the book to get you off the hook.

Do you know why did they kill this little girl?

Officially no. But given the ethnicity of both the child and parents. As well as The likely financial strata they occupied that their names would indicate. I can make an educated guess I’m willing to bet would be close. Although extremely offensive.

Warning labels are a record of what misadventures people have had with a product and then subsequently sued the company over.

So truthfully I’m not sure why you are surprised. That people need to be explicitly told not to shove things up their butts.

Is this from a medical study? Or was there a noticeable statistical uptick of Emergency Room visits involving Potatoes shoved up assholes?

Both of which are sadly equally plausible in today’s day and age.

And let me guess. Life in prison at the taxpayers expense.

TBH. A lot of problems in this country would likely start fixing themselves if we applied the Death Penalty more liberally and removed mental illness or retardation as a valid legal defense. Not to mention made it easier to get people involuntarily committed.

A dead man can’t reoffend. And if you’re too retarded or crazy to know killing or hurting people is wrong then you either need to be put down or locked away in an asylum the rest of your life. Letting you wander among the general population in a world you are apparently too stupid or crazy to understand. Is both a punishment for you and the general population that has to avoid your crazy ass.

I also imagine we’ll find a lot of folks aren’t quite as crazy or stupid as they led us to believe when “I’m too crazy to know better” or “I’m too stupid to know better” stops being a get out of jail free card.

The problem was likely that they were flying low over people. As you can see people in the water and along the beach where they were flying. It may also not have actually been planned and was something they did of their own accord.

Regulations regarding flying over people and operating in different degrees of airspace and heights have generally been getting tighter. Especially now as Drones are becoming increasingly common. It’d be rather embarrassing if we lost an Apache over a beach full of Civilians because they hit a Drone some knucklehead was flying over the beach. Or someone decided to sue because Apaches made an unscheduled flight through Airspace someone already got prior permission to fly their Drone in and hit or damaged the damn thing.

Anyway you slice it though seems more like the kind of thing that should have resulted in more like a finger wag, a stern don’t do it again, and a week of extra duty or something rather than a suspension. As ultimately no one got hurt and there was no damage to the aircraft. So it was probably an uptight and butthurt commander that ultimately decided on the suspension.

Good to know Weather is Misogynistic and hates Women. I’m sure the Male Construction workers and guys in other Male dominated fields who spend most of their time outside busting their ass will also take comfort in that fact. Your job and the weather may suck. But at least Women are also as miserable in the heat as you are.

And on another positive note. You can be reasonably sure an actual person wrote this. As this is some 100% organic stupidity.

Why are people who do not uphold the principles of our constitution allowed to run for public office in the first place?

A few reasons. One it was established that no one in this country could be persecuted on account of their ideas. Blocking people from holding office because you don’t like their ideas would be undermining that principle. Add in a couple centuries of playing host to various religious and political groups that were chased out of their homelands on account of their ideas. You end up with really odd ideological groups. Many of which don’t quite align with the ideology that ultimately resulted in the Constitution.

Two. Humans have the nasty habit of viewing the same piece of literature or work. And drawing radically different definitions and interpretations from it. Regardless of whatever the authors may or may not have intended. And whatever the actual dictionary definitions of said words are. So In those people’s mind they aren’t violating the principles of the Constitution as they quite fundamentally interpret them differently. It’s partly why there’s a billion and a half Christian denominations now. They all started with the same book. But ended with radically different interpretations of said book. So you’ll need someone to establish an unquestionable definition of what ‘Constitutional Principles’ are. Then you’ll need to squash, likely with violence, any interpretation that doesn’t align with your preferred definition and interpretation.

Three. The America that ultimately birthed the Constitution is dead and buried. Arguably it died in the 1820s when we started expanding the right to vote in mass. Prior to the 1820s most of the country. Whites included could not vote. Add in a couple centuries of immigration from various regions. Further expansions of the franchise. Political and Social unrest. A Multitude of unresolved problems we want to pretend never existed. We end up with today. In fact at this point we’re probably more of a Representative Democracy in practice even if on paper we’re a Republic.

Four. Significantly large portions of The United States Population virtually worships Business and Commerce. One of the fundamentals purposes of a Business is to turn a profit. Apply that writ large for decades. Subsequently we have a class of exceptionally wealthy and connected people whose only real loyalty to is to their bank account. They’ve got no roots or connections to the country and states that birthed them. The Market doesn’t care about God, Country, or People and Culture. It cares about profits and nothing else. Thusly they have no qualms about mass importing foreigners who don’t give a rats ass about the Constitution. As long as they save on labor costs. They also don’t get a shit about subverting the processes so long as they benefit.

Lastly. Our election security has been a joke for decades. Even long before the machines came into it.

There’s multiple other factors playing into it. But those are some of the major ones.

‘Basic Feature of any moderately functional society’.

Democrat: “It’s secretly Socialism.”

Like if you want the alternative. That’s fine. But you’re probably not going to like it as it’s not going to go the way you think it will.

It’s not strictly a lack of competition in the manufacturing of pet meds though that is part of it. Another significant part of the problem. Private Finance Firms are buying up independent Veterinarians left right and center. Then subsequently jacking prices.

Fly by night and backyard breeders and other shady outfits are also producing in mass poorly bred animals that have more and more medical and health problems. Which means more procedures and treatments need to be developed. Which means more money needs to be invested in care.

It’s going to take more than a couple new companies opening up. To fix all the problems and issues.

That and people who do open up will need to get used to lower profit margins. Part of the reason why so many of these cartel’s and monopolistic outfits exist. Isn’t necessarily due to over regulation. It’s ultimately lack of interest because no one wants to be the dude running or investing in the screw factory. Or the sterile bandage factory or another similar generic everyday product line. Because there’s no money or opportunity for fantastically crazy profits in it. The Private Jets and 50 Million dollar McMansion Compounds won’t buy themselves after all.

That and other countries like China aren’t shy about using state funds to back certain industries. Allowing them to sell at a loss and undercut foreign competition. Hollowing out the industry of other opposition nations.

Not to mention immigrant diasporas are being weaponized by a few countries to alter internal politics and foreign policies of other nations and foreign companies.

I mean disguising one cargo as another is an age old smuggling tactic.

But indiscriminately attacking shipping to force a slow down or stall of a shipping route. Is also an equally valid tactic if your objective is to cause chaos and split attention.

Like if your backers are currently being bombed by a Major nation so you cause trouble to hopefully reduce the pressure and split the forces attacking your bosses.

And well as another Commenter noted. Some of those events listed like the Ammonium Nitrate explosion in Beirut did reportedly result in massive civilian casualties. The implication then it was a deliberate act by the ‘Good’ side or at least as ‘Morally Good’ as anyone is in a cloak and dagger shadow war. Is kind of unsettling as the implication is that collateral damage among the general populace is okay.

And while decoders far away from the arena may accept that. One may feel different if you or a loved one are one of the people written off as acceptable collateral damage by a number crunching suit in a bunker or office.

You’d think the media would know better than anyone a stupid question before they ask it.

He’s both the President of the United States and has gotten the art of pissing off very wealthy and or very powerful people and organizations down to an art.

Of course people are gunning for him.

There’s a lot of people who would probably have him on a list. Multiple Major Corporate Interests. Numerous Nations. And other less official interests.

Her main claim to fame is having the common sense to reverse the decision after it bombed horrifically. Unlike other companies that doubled down on their DEI hires unpopular decisions.

I know the bar is low for DEI hires. But damn having a lick of common sense and reversing your own bad decision after public backlash is saving the company now?

Literally any Company or Corporate Division that currently has an Indian CEO needs to be inspected top to bottom.

They all bloody do it. It’s an ethnic Cartel that needs to be dismantled.

Sweeping it for bugs again? They’d got the plane from Qatar. The Qataris are known to fund multiple groups whose past-times include picking a fight with U.S Troops.

Though it would also allow the transport of cargo that could bypass normal checks and inspections.

When the bulk of your funding and resources come from 1 country. Whose leader is the type to get even if you push him. You can’t afford to act high and mighty.

That and I think part of him is probably happy Trumps getting delinquent members to cough up the funds they should have been paying. Though you do have to wonder why only 2 Secretary Generals of NATO have had any Military Experience whatsoever. It’s essentially the leadership position of a Military Alliance after all.

Well yes. Though in this case given the building isn’t on fire. Likely not. Though allegedly according to claims circulating now they were planning on adding more levels to the building and using shady and kinda cheap contractors to do the work.

So corner cutting and accidental damage by the contractors might’ve done it. Or potentially deliberate damage by people disguised as contractors at any rate.

A High Vis vest and a Hard Hat. Doubtful most folks would be able to tell the difference between someone pretending to be a Construction Worker and someone who actually was.

8
Plebbitimmigrant 8 points ago +8 / -0

That would also do it and shift weight distribution. Especially pertinent today. As a lot of construction contractors today are shady motherfuckers who will screw you over and use subpar labor and material in order to profit further if given half an opportunity.

Related. There’s an account on X I found recently. Claims to be an insider with the Bank of Japan.

The account is 1. Verified which means there is a person devoting attention to it behind it. 2. Operates with a VPN. 3. Doesn’t appear to be trying to hock merch, scams, or do any of the normal LARP shit in the quick browse through I did of their post history. And 4. At the very least knows or is capable of writing in Japanese. Which even if it’s a non-native speaker using an online translator would indicate someone is devoting more effort to it than one would expect from normal LARP slop.

Not saying it’s real. Just sharing it as a datapoint.

https://x.com/yutokanzakireal/status/2074183366048641243?s=46

In case it doesn’t auto translate upon clicking through the X provided translation is

“ The measures being prepared by the Bank of Japan will affect the lives of billions of people.

To the people of the Western countries, I offer my deepest apologies.

This is not a personal matter.

May God's blessings be upon you.”

I-Beams usually don’t begin bending and buckling on buildings previously stable without aggravating factors and or causes.

Sabotage is a definitive possibility. It’s also New York. There’s likely hundreds of Tunnels, Subways, Old Sewers, New Sewers, Maintenance passages, and Basements of old buildings that were never properly filled in.

If the Building was built on top of one and the structure below has started shifting or collapsing. It would start placing stresses on the above building and its foundation. Even shifts of minuscule amounts. Near imperceptible to the average person. Could place stresses on the Support Structure and shift weight distribution of the above structure. Which could feasibly cause the bending as the new weight distribution starts exceeding tolerances.

If an Indian ever makes it to Senior management. They’ll plot the downfall of the people above them in the pecking order. In order to get their jobs and The bulk of new hires inevitably end up being Indians and everyone else gets eventually gets laid off or fired.

It’s an ethnic cartel. One of many operating in the country we like to pretend don’t exist. Because acknowledging them. Let alone introducing legislation to combat them. Is both a tacit admission that our system of individualistic meritocracy was successfully weaponized against us. And that Western values are in fact not broadly applicable or the default mode of being for humans. Which is contrary to what many Western philosophers and thinkers have postulated or believed or the centuries.

They’re also having layoffs elsewhere in the company. Not just their gaming Division. Microsoft in general has been managed into a disaster by the current CEO and the new hires.

This is never going to stop until we do total remigration

There’s a better chance of Hell freezing over than the Corporations willingly giving up their cheaper foreign Labor. And the politicians and courts are owned by the people with vested financial interests in ensuring the foreign labor continues.

TBH a lot of folks are lost in the sauce of confirmation bias. ‘This confirms my preexisting belief. Therefore it must be true’. Or any of the other rhetoric regarding topics they feel exceptionally strongly about.

I’m not saying I don’t do any of the above. Likely guilty as charged. It is however something I’ve observed in passing.

That and simply a lot of the OG old hats have simply left for various reasons. Death in unfortunate cases, Drifting to new boards. Real life catching up. Disagreements etc. A lot of my oldest comments are to accounts that no longer exist anymore as one example. Hell I was here when that drama with evspara kicked off and shook up the original modteam. What 5 years ago now?

Losing a board’s original members can change the culture of the board to an immense degree.
