And at a restaurant in DC some lady wasn't receptive to me paying cash and so once again I gave exact change

"I have exact change... too exact. No tip."

Hold on. Not until they find a negro death to pin on it.

I don't do Twitter, but I would love to reply to this one:

Want to get rid of CO2? Then plant more trees!

Exactly. Instead of tearing down green left and right for a "valuable piece of real estate" when they want to build massive amounts of townhouses and luxury housing as they have been doing here in New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania for the past few years. "Valuable" real estate that ends up either vacant because the prices are too high, or otherwise in the hands of the rich.

I have been seeing this ad popping up on billboards in the NY area lately.

Masking, safety theater absolutely.

Social distancing absolutely works. If you're not near somebody is sick, and you keep clean, you're less likely to get sick. It works for any illness, whether it be coronavirus, influenza, or whatever.

You joke but this is the answer. Everyone was wearing masks (likely did less than we think), but also exposed themselves less to other people via "social distancing" (ugh I hate that term). Some people still refuse to go into crowded places.

No contact, no spread of the virus. Simple.

They showed the protests in Manhattan on the news this morning.

All white kids screaming racism needs to end.

Fucktards.

Basically Kurt just threw in her face, "if it weren't for 2A you'd still be on a plantation."

Loved it.

As fat as I was for most of my adult life, and having moobs, I never would have worn a bra, or manzierre.

Not even for big advertising bucks. This dude obviously has no shame.

Which is not completely "safe and effective". They've worked on it for decades and achieved neither. The results would not be acceptable under normal circumstances, but with a "public health emergency," they got away with pushing that vaccine out the door.

I just paid my credit card bill for the month.

Groceries plus gas and tolls to work = $2,500/mo. Single male, no family, no pleasure spending.

Living quarters just jumped $500 at the beginning of the year.

I feel bad for families.

This is bullshit.

These are the same people to whom you have to qualify "Unidentified Flying Objects" and "Unidentified Areal Phenomenon" with the word "unexplained."

I recently went through something similar at work, although it didn't start with anything related. Someone at work had commented on a supplement, stating that the FDA doesn't approve nutritional supplements and they wouldn't consider them safe and as such don't understand why people take them.

You can probably guess how it ended when I said "why do you find it unsafe to take a supplement and yet when the shot was still in the early stages without full approval, lined up for them?"

It will be a brilliant opportunity if you can find it in your heart to approach her next time you see here and apologize for your own behavior. ... snip... then tell her that. It may be something that will just help her to realize that the propaganda is bullshit and that those who stood firm are decent, honest humans, not morons, science deniers and tools.

Fully agree.

OP, make it obvious the attempt at atonement is your foremost goal. I'd maybe wait until a later time to bring up any rational discussion on the subject, as she may not be ready and possibly not for quite a while. Bring up it too soon or too strongly and you're right back where you started.

Even with her face in near full shadow you can see how ugly she is.

I have known people that have claimed to have been enduring it, but I had my doubts about whether they were truly experiencing depression, or were simply unhappy with the state of their lives.

Add to that the fact depression was the mental illness "trend" for a while on social media, where damned near everyone was claiming they had it.

when people have too much free time

I think it may be more of a balance is what is needed. Mine stems from the fact I don't have enough time to do what I want to do.

So, if one has too much time, they can contemplate, and if one has insufficient time, they ruminate. Perhaps there has to be a middle ground between self and some sort of purpose (the work and effort you describe).

"When Keanu Reeves turned 40, a great depression came over him. “They say life begins at 40, but for me it had the opposite effect. I started to worry about how many years I had left before I die,” admits the Canada-raised star." https://www.thestar.com/entertainment/2011/04/22/the_sad_state_of_hollywood_a_short_history_of_celebrity_depression.html

This is 100% me. I find it so hard the past few years not to think of how long is left, and get even more broody thinking I'm not doing my best to make the most of it.

Came here to post this. It's real, now they've given it a catchy marketing name.

Not only the stress of buying gifts and all the other arrangements, but those suffer who have no family or other plans.

Suicides around this time of year are also more common than other times.

What's even worse is that there are fucking losers who claim that because he disagrees with that image he must support Russia.

"Not that there's anything wrong with that!"

Ok, who the fuck thought it was wise to spend money even studying this?

So now that winter is here in NY, it's not that people refuse to slow down on wet or icy roads, it's because they're non-vaccinated?

This is getting kind of sad.
