I have always believed that different figures cater to different audiences while funneling them all in the same general direction.

The aspects of their character that many people here disagree with are necessary for their target audience to connect with them.

Some people live in too much comfort and simply cannot comprehend the true form of evil in this world.

Climate change is still a thing on people's minds?

Didn't see the gun fly away from the attacker's hand and his body was covering it so it was good to make sure the threat was neutralized.

The attacker could have easily rolled onto his back and returned fire if the defender didn't land a fatal blow with the first shot.

Isn't it spooky that in some areas, you are automatically opted in as an organ donor and you have to opt out?

If organs make so much money, then what incentive do these doctors have to keep you alive?

There are many ways to declare someone 'dead' without killing them so those organs can be freshly harvested.

It's pretty rough and I am sure this sort of thing snuck up on many parents that might have underestimated how corrupted schools, media and influences have become to children.

We're a traditional family, so my niece and nephew were taught at a very young age about common sense things like "A boy is not a girl and cannot be a girl." as well as "Don't grow up to be a sissy gay boy." This was taught among many other things such as situations where they could potentially be sexually harassed and they are taught to run away and tell us. This was taught to them even before they hit double digit ages.

Is it enough? I don't know since I won't be watching over them forever, but I'd like to think I at least helped got them off on the right foot.

To parents and guardians of children out there, good luck raising the next generation and don't let this cancel culture bullshit propaganda turn you into a meek hands-off parent. You won't be doing your kids any favors if you do.

I'd just like to add another Asian perspective based on language. I'm from the Philippines and normal conversation does not use the English equivalent of He/Him, She/Her.

In our language, we set the context of whoever is being referred to and we just a general term like Siya (He/Her) and Kanya (His/Hers). There are no specific pronouns to denote if the person being talked about is male, female or otherwise. They are simply referred to as 'that person we're talking about' summarized by "Siya".

I believe this goes for other languages as well which makes this entire English pronoun gender gibberish sound pretty dumb to a lot of us.

And people need to learn to critically think for themselves again.

OP in the comments is also highly emotional about the responses.

I am starting to think 9/11 in their heads was just the buildings being 'demolished' and the poor office workers simply didn't heed the 'warning signs' and went in anyway.

There are rules that govern them. As long as the information is out there, even if it's obfuscated, it counts as giving humans a choice when an event happens.

Been ready for awhile now. Not desensitized, but ready. I promised myself that I will not look away when things are revealed.

I'm someone who never really went with the norms and didn't really care if I thought differently than others. I ended up in a shouting match with my manager 2 weeks into my first job because I believed he was wrong to just copy paste product info from a website to ours without verifying the information. A second manager stepped in and let me do the work of checking all the info before it made it to our site.

But I'm also more of a snake in the grass. I can converse with the normies very well. It is easy for them to open up to me and like me. I'm able to sneak in the information I have to share during these conversations, be it family or a random stranger on the street.

The frontline warriors who are able to shout it out loud to people's faces and take more flak for it are far better than I am.
