We were sent a COVID fear survey via email today. The feedback is "supposed" to be anonymous (not that we give a shit). The survey asked questions like:
- Have you been to the office within the past year? If not, why not?
- Are you concerned about catching COVID (from other patients, medical staff)?
- How concerned are you?
Then it described the new (not new) policy of having people wait in their cars before their appointments now, and getting a text to enter the building, and the hand sanitizers, and masks, and so on. Finally, it gets to the point of asking you to make an appointment.
I normally don't fill out surveys. I did this time. We have had the same doctors for 30+ years. Here's my survey response:
Your job as doctors and the oath you took at least 30 years ago is to protect human health and do no harm. Until you (individually and collectively) decided to put corrupt, greedy, and frankly, evil politicians' thirst for power above the health of not only me and my family, but humanity, I believe you did just that. However, whether it's for money or convenience or fear, you are permitting your medical license to be used as a weapon against your fellow man, THE vehicle to force unneeded, unwanted, and experimental medical treatments against people who are less informed than you. As doctors who know the truth about the operation and transmissions of viruses, yet still choosing to enable and encourage these crimes against humanity, I can no longer trust you. I'm sorry, but me and my family won't be back.

It's so sad. I heard a dentist and an eye doctor talking in out neighborhood yesterday about enforcing the mask rules in their offices. The dentist said "you can get a bad review if someone thinks you're not enforcing masks, but you won't get a bad one for asking people to put a mask on. I've had no push back asking people to put a mask on. " This is so insane on so many levels, especially since she confirmed that as a dentist they just basically walk through the lobby (because they can't sit and wait there with other people anyway) with a mask on and then they have to take it off for their exam. We're in texas and she's happy to keep enforcing masks because the CDC says so.
I've always been suspect of doctors and all of this has also shattered what little trust I had. The unfortunate thing is most doctor's act like they're above everyone and know everything, when they should actually realize how little we truly know.
Since we can no longer trust the medical industry, this is the time to use healthy living as medicine. I don't take pills, I don't get shots, and I don't get sick.
Translation of the survey: “No one is making appointments and we’re losing money!!! Maybe it’s because they don’t know about our “new” safety policies! Let’s reassure them in the form of a survey!”
100% right on. I have a relative (several actually) who work as medical staff in hospitals. One of whom who is in a position to know told me their hospital lost almost $300 million dollars at that point and this was probably a good 6 months ago at least when we had the conversation. The loss was due to canceling elective surgeries, and paying staff when hardly any medical business was being conducted. Their hospital was almost empty. As you can imagine, no patients equals no insurance payments and private copays either among other things. Anyway, now it's time to try and get everyone back in the door for "routine checkups" et cetera. Needless to say, we're not biting.
And this is why random other injuries and illnesses are being coded as covid...These hospitals get federal moolah for every covid admittance and death. Their bottom line is paramount.

Yes, I heard something similar. A local healthcare provider with multi state locations lost 750 million in the 8 weeks they didn't perform elective/non emergent operations.
I heard the hospitals were getting paid to fake covid deaths tho. Is that making up all this money or is there something else shady going on? What’s their incentive to keep this charade up?
Their own industry allowed themselves and the media to scare people away from taking care of basic health needs.
We have people dying of injury and complications from their own issues because they're too afraid of catching the super-flu. So they'll die at home before they step foot in a doctor's office.
What kind of ass-backwards industry has the medical industry turned into? We need doctors reaching out as much as possible to reassure patients that it's safe to visit hospitals and doctor's offices. Instead they're choosing to remain silent on this consequential non-COVID-related public health crisis and send out surveys instead of doing something about the real problem here.

Not that it matters are they're scared of the government and losing the sheep more but I responded to many surveys early on with "I'll come back when this paranoid bullshit stops, it's not worth the inconvenient and potentially harmful measures with no proven scientific basis being taken over something no more risky to me that the flu."
Not only that, but some don’t even allow you to make appointments. My sister is pregnant and instead of going to her routine visits, she is being forced to check her own blood pressure, heart-rate, etc at home and send the numbers into the doctor on a regular basis. Why is she paying them if she’s caring for herself? What are they even doing??

im dealing with this and ended up talking to a billing person at the hospital which claimed that she can see that I paid but also claims that I backcharged the payment. but refused to give me a date this happened.
Well done. Doctors aren't even informed well enough. How many times have you gone to the doctor addressing an issue and they always try to talk down to you as if you know nothing. They don't know shit about the vaccines. I don't trust them
Most of them don't even take the time to study what they're prescribing patients. They simply get the nod from big pharma and are handed a paycheck and are told to market it to as many people as possible.

We are avoiding going to the doctors at all. I may be overly cautious but I refuse to be tested and feel like if I go the doctor they will force a situation that will end up adding our family to a list. Paranoia? Maybe - but better safe than sheep.
I haven’t been either for the exact same reasons. I have never been tested for COVID. I don’t want to end up on a list. And I certainly don’t want to be lectured about vaccines!

Yes. And that prolonged fear/stress affects your immune system which in turn increases your chance of adverse affects if you were to get “covid”. So, the doctor is not practicing good patient care at all. QOL is also one of the most important things when it comes to maintaining the oldest of old people’s health. They often choose to die rather than suffer alone.

My mom just got a new medicare plan and chose it because it offered acupuncture b/c she has terrible neuropathy.
Being told after signing up she doesn't qualify b/c of previous back issues.

I've said about the same thing to any email theyve sent out even gone out of my way to email or post my responses on their social media.

"I'm sorry" I would have not put that in the response. But that's just me.
The last doctor I visited was in 1999, exit physical from the military. I have been blessed with good health. I dont see the need to visit a physician, unfortunately not all MD's are as intelligent as one would hope. The lack of continuing education and critical thinking skills is far more prevalent than you would imagine. I log blood pressure and heart rate 4-6 times a day for my own edification and to detect irregularities that may require more detailed testing. So far, no issues. Viatmins, moderate eating habits of varied and healthy foods, quarterly 7 day fasts all seem to be working. Maybe im nuts, but it's working for me.

I’ve been to the doctor’s here in PA 30 times since COVID (fertility treatments)... never had any issues, they take my temperature and we all wear masks. The clinic is PACKED and it’s hard to get all of my required appointments scheduled! I guess people tried to get pregnant during the lockdown and realized that they couldn’t....?
