Makes about as much sense as wearing a mask following the hostess to your table but being able to take it off once you're seated.
I've done this several times now... the hostess says I need a mask, so I say "oh, of course" and I reach into my pocket, faking getting a mask out (lol, I don't even carry one, never wear one) then she turns around to lead us to our table and we follow behind her with no masks.
I do EXACTLY the same thing!! By the time she turns around I'm sitting down and she doesn't know whether I had one on or not. And she probably feels like she's done the right thing. Ever since Abbott lifted the mask mandate they don't ask anymore. I just got back from a few stores and I'm shocked at the sheep still wearing them. I've never worn one to shop. Anywhere.
I will forever remember when I went to my dentist last year when the lockdown was still fresh, shit didn't make sense back then either.
My hygienist was hovering in my opened mouth for over 20 minutes. But when I got up to leave, she asked me to put in a mask. There was also no one else in the clinic except for us and the receptionist. *Jackie Chan face *

Can't shop at Costco without one. But I basically need to shop there to buy bulk food for my business.
The public needs to get together and revolt. Have 100 Costco shoppers show up at once, without masks, and enter in-mass. They cannot stop a crowd coming all at once. Do this at every Costco at once. Social media should be able to organize a day of resistance!

I've been wondering how these Hollywood hypocrites are filming their TV shows and Movies. Like WandaVision for example: Much of that was filmed last year. Where's the masks and social distancing? I've seen plenty of scenes in projects that were filmed last year or even this year where unrelated people are close to each other, touching, even being intimate. See it all the time at their stupid awards shows and shit like the Grammys. I don't watch that shit but I've seen pictures. Fucking hypocrites. Rules for thee but not for me.
I don't either but the other day my husband was flipping through the channels and caught a bit of the Grammy's. "Look at these idiots wearing masks," he says. Now you know damn well the minute the camera was off so were their masks. As for masks while filming, I've seen shows say that they were all testing cast and crew multiple times each week. Probably back when tests weren't available for us common folk, they were all given to Hollywood royalty.
Yup, look at wrestling & Jiu Jitsu also, only most times they don’t enforce it when off the mat (except maybe if it’s a school match) because... what’s the point? I told a woman that coughed with a mask on to cover her mouth anyway because the mask doesn't stop any bacteria or viruses. She looked shocked, so I said read the package, and cover your mouth.

To the lefties, science is just a magic word. When they say it, they expect everyone to unquestionably believe anything that they associate with it. It should not be lost on anyone that this sounds exactly like magic, something that is supposed to be counter to science.
To the left, science is a religion. There's is only one right way of thinking which goes counter to what actual science is.
There are people on the left who follow science like a religion and they have their own issues, which would take too long to get into here.
However, these people we are referring to are not them. There is no better way to describe this but they are in a SJW cult/religion, and they follow whatever that cult tells them to follow. It doesn't have to have (and almost never does) any basis in actual science or rational thought. Because science, for better or for worse (it used to be religion but is not anymore) is sort of like a second language of the modern world, they claim that their SJW cult beliefs have basis in science so they can try to convince non-believers to convert to their faith or at least maintain some credibility (don't fall for it, they have no credibility). However, actual scientific evidence for their insane and provably un-true beliefs does not exist. Therefore, the SJW cult/religion is not founded on science and they don't even really believe in it, they just claim it is based in science to give it legitimacy, but provide no credible proof of this so-called science and you don't even see them suggesting any of it. Their argument for converting people is always emotional (unless you believe in our SJW cult beliefs, you are a bad person). And their arguments for their tenants of their cult/fails are 'There are 267 genders because there are obviously 267 genders and that's the science.' which is circular logic and the science part adds nothing to it (an invalid form of reasoning).
Trust science ? Ok but what happens when science has been corrupted and weaponized ? THEY BECOME TERRORISTS. Are we supposed to ignore this fact if they have suits and degrees or something ?

One of the managers at the Bass Pro Shop Outpost store in Anchorage Ak was telling us associates at our Sunday morning meeting the importance to wear our masks/visors. Yet when I stopped into the mgrs office what do I see? She is at her desk Without her mask on. When you go into our break room which is the size of a small conference room it is totally ok to remove your masks for the duration of your breaks whether they be 10 minutes or an hour. Yet as Soon as you step out onto the sales floor your mask/visor Must be on. Covid can be ANYWHERE in our Large building but can NOT enter either the Mgrs office Or the break room?? At the Sunday meeting we were told how on Saturday a family of 4 who were belligerent anti-maskers were ordered to put on masks or leave. The cognitive dissonance is off the scale.
We were in that store on Sunday - maskless. Just walked in to visit the bathrooms and left, but got yelled at on the way out because we went out "the wrong door!!!". They were all skitzo. I won't be going back there for awhile.
Sorry about that, if I was store management mask wearing would be 100% optional to the customer. Those who live in fear of viruses around every corner go ahead & knock yourselves out & wear one or 5. Those who are sane & rational are free to be maskless. My concern is that even After states can go maskless that corporations Will still require masks to be worn inside just cause they Love the Power trip. Sadly I'm not, this is a terrible business model IMHO.
Not a problem, fren - it's not your doing. It's encouraging to know that not all their employees are buying their BS. I, as you, am concerned that corporate power-tripping will continue after everyone else has relaxed the rules. In fact, our governor has already said that masks are optional - it's just your Nazi mayor making things crazy in Anchorage. We likely would have spent several hundred dollars in your store as we came through, but decided our dollars would be better spent somewhere other than Anchorage. Keep the faith - we'll get through this.
That's the thing that gets me about customer service related businesses who would rather alienate those customers by enforcing mask regs they themselves Ignore behind closed doors.
