I wondered about the "diet Coke button" as well. Why have two? Why is it on the far side of the lamp where it would be difficult to reach from the couch? Is there something else that looks like that call box?

The statue looks like the artist Frederic Remington's work. I have read some of his sculptures were in the White House.

There is a pause button on the upper right of the story which I just noticed today. Otherwise you only have seconds to capture the image.
