Excellant and funny. Went out to 3 stores in deep.blue MD today. Target, 9 of 10 were without masks and boy do small children respond to a smile from a stranger. Went to Marshall's and the door keeper gave me a mask. I told her I would pick up some wrapping paper and be gone instead of shopping and noted the box these things came out of said they won't prevent the flu. She responded "I know. Sorry." BJs, about half and half and no one said a word.
I actually completed my errands...first time I have been able to for months. Limiting oxygen at my age is exausting.
That's awesome! It's funny you say that because my Mom texted me from Florida about how great it felt to get groceries without a mask. I however am in LA and still have to wear them at a store until 6/15 I think. There are literal banners up and down Santa Monica blvd and Fairfax in West Hollywood on the light poles that say COVER THAT FACE with a drawing of a person wearing a mask. Most people are still wearing them around here OUTSIDE when it's 75 and sunny out. I never wore one outside this entire time and no one ever had the audacity to say anything besides some salty looks. It's unreal how brainwashed these people are.

There's no reason for people to be walking around wearing a mask. When you're in the middle of a pandemic, it may make some people FEEL better to wear a mask, and it might even block a droplet. But it's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is, and often there are unintended consequences [touching and adjusting the mask, infecting the eyes, nose, and mouth with contaminated fingers].
