Exactly. I know some very intelligent liberals. They are intellectually accomplished on many levels. But they are indoctrinated and their identity revolves around thinking they're superior because they're liberal. They have big blind spots and an unwillingness to even consider certain facts because they've been brainwashed into believing their sources are honest and anything that contradicts them is dishonest.

I ejected every one of them I knew except two. The only reasons I maintained ties with the two is that I want to see their faces when things go down, and they aren't as bad as the hundred-plus others. In a saner world, they'd come off more as moderates than libs, but they seem to adhere to libdogma as if they felt they had to vs believe it. The others follow it to a T, were continuing to campaign despite their "historic victory", and were just generally miserable people.
