I haven't followed the arrow signs in the stores since day one. I just do my shopping - if someone freaks out, THEY can back out and go down a different aisle!
One store I went to, with arrows, I missed something at the beginning of the store, and there was no way to get back there again without leaving and reentering.
All the stores in my area have gotten rid of the floor signs but I notice people are still mostly standing in line six feet apart. I'm okay with that, I like my personal space.
I went to my Rheumatologist today .. no one was wearing masks. Not even him. Then went to Home Depot, only ones in masks were SOME employees, and none of them had them on correctly (if you can wear one 'correctly').
The ball is rolling, even if it's rolling slower than we'd like. It's happening.
Gov. Wolf in PA had his indefinite emergency powers taken away by a vote. His last order before the vote was that masks don’t need to be worn while voting if you’re not vaccinated, but they can’t ask for vaccine cards.
Trump speeding the vaccine via an EUA also causes NPCs to malfunction with the vaccine passport vs hateful and corrupt anti voter id “debate”.
I feel like without Trump in the spotlight as POTUS or masks as a constant reminder of the “new normal”, 75% of NPCs won’t really care about following the narrative, they just want to be with the crowd.
“POTUS must be neutral for optics”; you see the purpose!
Even at the height of Trump’s popularity, it was hard to envision how arrests could happen with him in The White House. Like how would it not trigger immediate riots from brainwashed corporate NPCs with TDS. The assumption was that the evidence would be so conclusive that everyone would just accept it. But do we not kind of know now that there is no amount of evidence the NPCs would accept? They are too invested in the corporate narrative. This is why a lot of us thought Covid might be a cover for the lockdowns to prevent rioting as the arrests happened. And that could still be what happened actually - a lot of celebrities have mysteriously disappeared, it seems.
But now if there is some kind of roll out of the truth by the military, it would make sense that Trump is chilling in Mar-a-Lago while the whole show is playing out. “Who? Me? I’m not even President anymore.” A military occupation would also be interesting if it involved the arrest of Joe Biden because then The White House would be empty and America would have no President. What if the military offered him the position again and Trump turned it down? That would undermine the Orange Man Fascist narrative. Or would the military remain in charge until 2024 with Trump as acting President unofficially so that 2024 is open for his second term?
FL is awesome. I'm in Broward county (pretty liberal generally). Just attended my child's graduation ceremony and 80% of the parents didn't wear masks (and I saw many take theirs off once they saw that most of us weren't wearing them). I have refused to wear a mask anywhere and I haven't gotten any flack for it from anyone.
Just act like it's normal and you'll make the maskies feel stupid for wearing theirs.
Hey I live in Broward too, in a half-lib half-conservative area. I don't see any mask-required signs in most stores which is good but unfortunately I think most here are getting the jab, the line-up for it at Publix was insane.
Not gonna lie, I was a fan of the social distancing. I hate being in line and someone is breathing down my neck when I just want to pay for my Cheerios and go home. Otherwise, this is pretty cool.
Same here. There's a rope which is supposed to be where you wait until the next customer is through right? I've had people come up and wait inches from me as I checkout. Just a pet peeve.
Arrows were STUPID. Who even followed them Not me. Still see Social distancing signs in our local stores near cash registers but the arrows are no longer there.
Louis Vuitton made us wait in line to get into the store which is ridiculous to begin with but whatever i complied. Also have to have the mask on. Ok fine. But then while waiting in line an employee came up to me and asked that i back up and stand on the yellow circle. I refused and left the line. I refuse to be told where to stand so I can spend MY money.
Someone below mentioned how nice it is to see faces again - which reminded me of my recent visit to Publix to pick up our weekly deli meats for sandwiches. The employee who sliced my meat for me said "it sure is nice to see friendly faces again!"
I see less and less people here in Tampa wearing masks. My wife and I have been looking around Ft Myers to move to actually. Is Ft Myers a good city to live in?
What's the sales tax there in Lee county? If I remember correctly it was something like 6% or 6.5%. Here in Hillsborough county it's 8.5% and in 2 years the county is wanting to try to get people to vote to increase it to 9.5% which would make Tampa as bad as LA way out in CA.
I know it's only sales tax but everything adds up to increase the cost of living, cost of rent, cost of a house purchase, mortgage, etc. I'll rent when I move because I really prefer to live several years in a city before really knowing the city well enough to know what areas I would and would not want to consider buying a home in.
The neighborhood I'm in here in Tampa is great but I never intended to live in Tampa long term but instead just a few years. I spent over 10 years in Jacksonville and many years in a small town called Lake City but decided to move south to Tampa a couple years ago.
The city is fine but it's just not the city for me honestly. From my past few years of looking online in my spare time, putting together lists of places of interest in different cities throughout FL, Ft Myers has been where my wife and I both are leaning towards.
I want a big enough city but not a real big city and Ft Myers should fit that nicely plus the weather and beaches. Maybe when I get settled in somewhere again long term, I might just get back to fishing and if life treats me good maybe even buy another boat one day but one thing at a time lol.
Went to do stuff at the Melbourne(FL) DMV today, and they had signs saying "Masks NOT required". Didn't even need a mask in the post office...a Federal building. Florida is winning bigly
Local chain stores in my area no longer require masks on employees. It's nice to see faces again. Went to the grocery store today, only people in masks were two 20 year old chicks who appeared to be pretty healthy.
"Don't tell me, you girls go to the local university and read Salon and HuffPo, right?"
Pretty fucking funny to watch maskless people in their 70s walk past them. I crack up at anyone wearing a mask now, time to shame these morons back.
I hear ya, but the Home Depot guy is a huge Trump supporter I think, so I still shop there. Better than Menards surprisingly, which is totally Woke. Annoying.
We took out mask requirement signs down. The Social distance stickers have been off for a couple of months now. People see me in the cart room without wearing a mask and ask me if they have to. I tell them no and they smile with a sense of relief.
It's weird how vastly different the sides of my town behave. East side is extremely pro-mask, but out in the west almost nobody wears one and nobody says anything about it.
Vacationed in Ft Myers Beach few weeks ago while visiting daughter/grandson. It was so awesome!! No one wearing masks- bars, restaurants, stores, beaches all packed and maskless!! (Orlando is filled with sheep)
I'm waiting for them to take down those stupid plexiglass partitions.
Aren't we all.
I haven't followed the arrow signs in the stores since day one. I just do my shopping - if someone freaks out, THEY can back out and go down a different aisle!
The stupid arrows in my grocery store only lasted about 6 weeks, and no one paid attention to them anyway. ?
One store I went to, with arrows, I missed something at the beginning of the store, and there was no way to get back there again without leaving and reentering.
That's hilarious!
All the stores in my area have gotten rid of the floor signs but I notice people are still mostly standing in line six feet apart. I'm okay with that, I like my personal space.
Free will space is good space
I also like that commonly-used surfaces are being kept cleaner. Please keep it up!
Didn’t Q tell us the cleaning products are poison?

It’s because a lot of vaccinated people aren’t wearing masks anymore, because of the vax
. . . ., and because of those of us who either identify as jabbed or simply don't give a rat's behind about "the rules".
I mean yeah that too but I’m just saying it’s not like people are waking up it’s liberals who feel comfortable enough to not wear the mask anymore.

Here in Naples Florida I ripped them off the tile floor around our community pool. Me and my lady had good fun doing it.

Very Red TRUMP Loving town and even though it's a tourist town..the locals are GREAT! So is the weather all year long.

My parents live in Venice and it is amazing. Looks nicer than Ft. Meyers
Venice is beautiful. More Of a big town. Ft myers is more of a small city with an airport, with all that comes with that...
If only the Spencer's would do that, but I wouldn't hold my breath. It took them a while to lift their mask mandate.
Spencer’s Gifts? Steer clear pede...
I would if I could... But I work there. I'd quit if I was able to find another job or what I truly want to do actually took off.
Won't lie that it amazes me that my co-workers never caught on that I browse this forum daily.
Nice. Keep pushin towards your dreams fren. U can reach them ?

Music to my ears! :)
None of the stores have mask signs on them anymore, and people are STILL wearing them, though it is 50/50 depending on where I go.
Costco got rid of them too.
Fuck Costco with lemon juice and a rusty nail. They will never have my business again.
It's weird how vastly different the sides of my town behave. East side is extremely pro-mask, but out in the west almost nobody wears one and nobody says anything about it.
Still good news
Went to a chick fil-a today, none of the employees were wearing masks, think they will be my fast food go to from now on!
Costco a few days ago was like the pandemic never happened. I saw maybe 5 people wearing masks inside, none of which were employees.
Fuck Costco. I hope they die
Unbelievably based but yeah they took way too long to do it
Vacationed in Ft Myers Beach few weeks ago while visiting daughter/grandson. It was so awesome!! No one wearing masks- bars, restaurants, stores, beaches all packed and maskless!! (Orlando is filled with sheep)
Ft Myers a good place to live? I visited a few years ago seemed like a decent place
A notion that's just been reinforced with 2in thick steel plates
Color me jelly. Praying for the rest of us in the hold out locals, that we may also see relief soon. Blessings to you!
Fauci’s emails don’t lie.
The fever is starting to break!
Nice good for Lowe's...
Personally I'd love to eat inside a Wendy's again.
I hate all that crap. Social distancing, masks, and vaccines. I'm full of hate.
