Work your way through, especially in the beginning, by listening to the people’s needs and wants. The mayor is there to serve. If you wind up winning (and I hope that you do), then it’s time to turn on the burners.

Stay on top of that if I were you. Get names, procedures, guarantees for your cities voters. If you can ensure the election is safe or safer then people should get behind you. As far as I’m concerned, election integrity is number 1 right now in America. At least for me it is.
