My family won't be watching the Olympics for two reasons.
NBC Universal will be broadcasting the Olympics in the U.S.A.. WE don't watch NBC for any reason. I will NOT support that communist network.
UN-American behavior of the athletes. Until all of the flag protests are completely banned from the Olympics... and those using the podium to protest against our own nation are tossed OFF of the Olympics teams permanently... then I won't watch.
Yeah, and it being a bid system, where the host nation us compelled to spend tens of millions to build new facilities, this will be the most collossally bad investment in Olympics hosting ever made. That's at least an economic quadruple-whammy to Japan, after the earthquake, tsunami, scamdemic and now the epic failure of these Olympic games.
The last two having been the direct result of the Sino-Lefto-Global power grab in the US, it is a terrible shame, a horrible disgrace and a completely avoidable undermining of Japan. The country itself loses face once again. From what I understand, the vast majority of its citizens will bear the shame and disgrace - as if they could have done anything to change the now-inevitable outcome.

Look at Italy in the Euro cup final vs England. They were all connected arms to shoulders and belting out the Italian National Anthem. Is Italy perfect? No, they know that but they choose to be proud and show unity, unlike our moronic overpaid athletes who choose to protest, divide us and anger us. We should look to Italy as an example of national pride. Sad that they are leading us in this arena, nonetheless we are a great country with a great proud majority of us who recognize that.
