In the past year and a half, ive known 2 people that were really sick with something and one mildly sick with something they called Covid.
Not really a reason to shut down. Maybe what ive seen is rare.
What has been your personal observations and experiences?
My mom told me my cousin was sick with Covid. Other than that, Covid has only existed at the level of the TV and internet. I didn't wear a mask or social distance and i never used any hand sanitizer or anything. No problems. Covid seemed to disappear if you ignored it. I was only reminded of it when i had to get groceries or when i saw some moron in their car alone wearing a mask.
I’ve seen no evidence personally that shows we are in any kind of pandemic. I know people that have “gotten it” but they are always fine after a few days.
this^ has been my experience too.
I do know two men who had 'cancer' and died recently, wouldn't doubt if they had the shot while in the hospital as their caregivers believe the narrative.
Something made me really ill in March 2020. I couldn't eat for more than a week, my digestive system shut down. I didn't cough, but when I recovered, my lungs were damaged and I was very breathless for 6 months.
This was at the time when the 'rona was sweeping through my city.
So I think I had it. I had a subset of these symptoms when my wife had the AZ jab, so I think I have suffered from shedding also.
My husband got it. He had a runny nose and headache for a day. I had it. I had a headache. My parents got it, they experienced what felt like a cold. My aunt and uncle had it, they described as a cold. And my four close friends who contracted it compared it to a cold/headache. I personally wouldn’t have bothered getting tested for it if not for the fact I had to since my husband and I planned to travel.
It’s not a Pandemic It’s an IQ Test It’s not a Vaccine It’s a Darwin Award
Need the ability to up-vote more than one time!
Had it for a week, it came with a nasty headache. I ended up taking HCQ to clear it the second week.
Ive known 1 person that got it. He has asthma, COPD, in his 60's, overweight and is fine now.
My friend had Covid...then took the shots "because work paid him 100$ bonus". He said the Jab was twice as worse on him, than the Virus...Go Figure?!?!?
Of the very few people I know who say they had it, no one has ever described anything other than common cold symptoms. Not quite what I'd call a deadly pandemic
The CORONA strain IS essentially the Common Cold, so that makes sense....
I “had” covid. Started as a mild sore throat, got tested for it the next morning because my work told me dont show up and to get tested. That turned into a cough and congestion.
Then the cough and congestion lasted for about 3-5 days in total before I was feeling back to normal. Lost only my sense of smell I think on the 4th day. Sense of smell hasn’t been the same since, just slightly worse than what it used to be.
Was taking zinc, vitamin C, vitamin D, some cold pills (don’t remember), and elder berries everyday for 10 days
Edit: Also forgot to mention this was the beginning of this year. During these 2 weeks I had to quarantine for, is when I found this community and gave myself back to God after not believing for about 10-11 years.
Edit 2: Also forgot to mention I am a Type 1 Diabetic so my immune system is weaker than others. So technically I should have had worse symptoms than what I had.
I was sick with something december 2019. Worse than a normal cold or flu thing. But not enough i thought i was dieing.
People i know who supposedly had it have said its no worse than the common cold/flu.
I thinks its a bunch if overhyped bullshit.
I work in a nursing home. We have lost 7 residents whom died with Covid, not of Covid. All 7 were frail, elderly and 5 were on hospice prior to contracting Covid. All of our other 20 residents survived with minimal symptoms other than a positive test and were quarantined in their room for 3 weeks. This was May of 2020. We did have a total of 45 staff test positive over the past year. Did the vax clinics December and January. All but 3 patients are vaxxed and about 80%of the staff are vaxxed. I worked 6 days a week since March 2020, never got Covid. Tested weekly (now bi weekly) and I did not get the vax. I'm a department head, the only one who declined the vax. Needless to say, I'm an outcast...lol After the vax clinic's....I am now sending patients to the hospital more than ai ever have. Altered mental status, heart issues, autoimmune symptoms. We have had 5 die within a month after getting the vaccine. However, they were not reported to Vaers cuz MD determine it was not related to the vax. 😔 Oh...I take zinc, Bit C and D everyday!
My thoughts are based on working and dealing with people who took the jab. They are PHd's at or retired from the national labs, high ranking retired military personnel, and seasoned technical professionals at my current organization.
They all have total confidence in our medical system and trust that it and all vaccines are safe and effective. No questions asked. That is exactly how they think.
They are so brainwashed or gaslighted that they can't even have a discussion.
I've known around 20 people who have tested positive (5 of which are family.) Of those, only one had anything that lasted, which is one guy from work who still can't do anything physical - no longer has stamina whatsoever and has lost a lot of vitality. The rest of them had various light to moderate symptoms that passed in a week or two like any other typical illness.
Last Monday, my son's girlfriend started having symptoms and ended up testing positive. Three days later, my son's symptoms started. They both have been here almost every day before and after they had it. We were careful to keep them mostly quarantined in their room and wiped down everything they touched once we knew they had it and my husband and I started taking Airborne. During this week, they both started with slight fever for a very short time but most of the week they were just dizzy. They still played video games in their room and watched tv, and though they felt dizzy, it certainly wasn't the worst flu they ever had. They were functional. Now, all of their symptoms are gone, except for an occasional cough that started a couple of days ago. And so far, my husband and I are not showing any symptoms at all. And though it probably doesn't need to be said, none of us has had the "vaccine".
My mother in law tested positive and said she felt like she had a mild flu. I think her taste and smell were funky for a few days. She treated it with spicy bloody marys and zinc and was better in a few days.
A guy who works with my husband got it but I don't think he was hospitalized. Dude's wife was hospitalized with it and died, but I personally suspect she died of a medical error. No family was allowed in the hospital with patients and he had heard from her nurses earlier in the day that she was doing very well.
I had the coof (or whatever the hell it really is) last November after going to the dentist and having another human being elbow-deep in my mouth. It started with sense of smell becoming muted (not 100% gone, just weird)...then taste followed. My only other symptoms were a headache that would not go away and GUSHING nosebleeds multiple times a day. Did not feel "sick" at all. Lasted about a week. I literally did nothing, took nothing. Smell & taste have been back to normal ever since. No big deal for me.
I've actually seen very little real-time evidence here in east Tennessee. My brother-in-law was quite sick last year and was bedridden for a few days; his wife had a mild case of something and took care of him... Now whether it was COVID or not is unknowable, as he didn't get tested and just handled it at home, he's tough. But other than that, I don't know a single person who definitely has or had the virus. Rather odd, if you think about it, because the local "news" is fear porn at the top of every hour, but I cannot trust their numbers, the stations are completely owned by larger corporate broadcast entities.
But personal experience is just that above.... one seriously ill relative with no absolute diagnosis. You'd think that if this "pandemic" is real there would be bodies in the streets and funeral homes with refrigerated trailers parked out back, but nothing... crickets.
Oh, and the homeless population here, while relatively small, seems to be alive and well.
My son (11 yrs old) supposedly tested positive last August. The only reason I even took him to be seen was because he had a fever. He came home mid-day with a bellyache from day care. He proceeded to scarf down a whole big bowl of chicken noodle soup and a big glass of orange juice, then went to sleep and slept hard. When he woke up, he had a fever. I don't give him anything to reduce a fever unless it's really high (over 102), and this just broke 100 so I gave him nothing. The next morning he was fine, but that Monday I got a call telling me he tested positive. So we got a few weeks off.
I know some people who have tested positive, been very sick. I don't know anyone personally who has died from it. I'm in touch with the county court bailiffs, staff attorneys, etc. because I work in law, and COVID went through the justice center here like wildfire, but everyone I know there recovered, and most compared it to allergies or a sinus infection after the fact.
As to "asymptomatic spread" - I have confirmed first hand it's bullshit, just as I suspected. We have never worn masks in this office. And I've been coming to work this whole time, never worked from home. We had a lady in her 60s (another secretary) get real sick (sinus infection-like) on a Sunday morning when she was here on Friday. So she must have had it in her to present with symptoms less than 2 days later. We were all around her. Some closer than others, some definitely within 6 feet or less. Nobody else caught it.
Months later, while on vacation and between his first and second jab, someone in my office also caught it. He's fine now, and he's in his 60s. I know 4 separate married couples (who share homes and beds) where one spouse got it but the other didn't.
I also think we had it though - January of 2020, some respiratory illness made its way through our office and almost all of us were sick - my husband too - everyone except my son. One of the attorneys here is dating a Chinese girl, and she had been to China in December 2019. But there was no test for it then. I firmly believe I have natural immunity and for that reason (among a million others), they can take their jab and shove it up their asses. I'm not taking it.
Anecdotal evidence of what I've been saying since all the Cruise Ship BS at the start of this whole thing - that 'At least 50% (and probably more) of humans are naturally immune from the COV - since the common cold is a Covid variant.'
Other than my illness back in January 2020, I have been out in the world this whole time - never stopped working at the office, never stopped shopping or going places, I wore a mask when forced in order to shop to feed my family, but anytime I didn't absolutely have to, I didn't. In fact I was taking off my mask before walking out the door - once I paid the bill for groceries and started walking out, the mask came off (what are they gonna do, kick me out? I'm already done). I still visited with friends and family, and in general I didn't change my life anymore than absolutely necessary. I have been absolutely fine and so I will trust that my immune system is strong. I think you are right about 50% probably being naturally immune, and I feel pretty good believing I am one of them. Seriously I'd rather take my chances getting covid than getting any of those "vaccines".
My son tested positive (college in AZ tested him). Absolutely no symptoms at all. And he has asthma!
Stated this before: October - Xmas 2019, everyone on my FB / instagram that have kids were sick. Kids first, then the parents. Chills, head / body aches / fatigue / sore throat. ALL tested negative for the flu, I could go back and post all this, but if you all go back thru your own social media, you'll see the same.
Others here have actually confirmed they remember this as well.
Since covid officially 'came to town" I, and nobody I know direct, knows someone that direct that had it. Met a few customers that "know someone that has a cousin who... " stuff like that, but zero actual 'I know someone who got covid'
As a doctor I've seen COVID do awful things to people. Trusting Trump saying it was safe and the things I saw drove me to getting the shot. This was in December, before I really realized this evil plan. I felt fine, never had reactions, and I'm hopeful that living past the first few months of the shot isn't a death sentence
My mom has covid antibodies and never knew she had ever gotten covid. She’s in her 60s, overweight, and has chronic bronchitis so I dunno.
I have a family member that had (maybe still has?) long haul symptoms. She’s still going about her life just fine but for a long time she would get very fatigued doing anything. She had no taste or smell.
My husband has had many employees take two weeks off because they tested positive. A few have been “fully vaccinated” and are still testing positive. Why they’re still testing, I have no clue. 🙄 Very annoying.
My household doesn’t wear masks, not getting ANY shots, and live our lives completely normally- we’re all completely fine.
My two daughters were in a car wreck last weekend (they’re ok, thank God) and at the hospital, not a single mention of covid, masks, or shots. When I first walked in the staff weren’t even wearing masks. We were one of only a few people in the entire ER. ..Empty halls.
pretty sure sister has it currently (her son just "tested" positive) her symptoms were similar to bad cold (lethargy, coughing, etc.) for about a week so far (improving tho) but nothing deadly or hospital worthy
I tested positive last fall. I had an upset stomach for about 2 days. Felt a weird burning sensation in my nose. Lost most of my sense of taste and smell so I went and got tested.
Funny thing is at the time I had “covid” I was on vacation sharing a small hotel room with my wife and 8 year old. Neither got sick or showed any symptoms of being sick whatsoever.
I gave blood a month later and had the antibodies.
Also, both elderly parents got it a few months later. They both had a cough that lasted for 3 or 4 days and that was about it.
A friend of mine’s mother passed from covid. He said she was in unbeatable pain while in the hospital.
"A friend of mine’s mother passed from covid."
WITH - not from. You do NOT die from COVID.
My husband and I came down with it at the same time September of 2020. It was bad. We've never been so sick in our lives. :-(
Out of work for nearly 3 weeks. Our symptoms were very different. I had a fever for 2 weeks. Hubby never had one. We both lost taste and smell, but mine came back after about 2 weeks. Hubby had lots of respiratory issues. I'm an RN, and I knew he was coming down with the beginnings of pneumonia. Finally convinced him to go to the ER. CT scan showed early streaks of pneumonia in both lungs. Caught it in time, but took 3 rounds of antibiotics to resolve.
After Covid nearly one year later: My husband STILL can't fully taste or smell. He's been to ENT's and even had sinus surgery to no avail. He also has permanent damage to his left lung base and sees a pulmonologist every 6 months for eval and CT scan.
Me: Some GI issues, which I've never had before. Frequent "bugs" and constipation. My gut used to be made of steel. LOL And I definately still suffer from "Covid brain".
May I also add we were told there was no treatment for Covid. No offer of Ivermectin or HCQ. We were told all we could do was go home and treat the symptoms.
But we are blessed. And we're still not getting the jab!
I had COVID.
I have never had the flu, at least not what I understand the flu to be like. Would get a severe upper respiratory thing every 3-4 years or so, but nothing like the flu has it has been described to me.
My experience with COVID was unpleasant. Chills, upper respiratory congestion, sinus congestion, headaches, deep chest coughing, fever (102 at the highest), weakness and a general malaise.
Remaining effects are partial loss of taste and smell. More regular headaches and some slight numbness in the left side of my face.
As far as the taste issue, I have been testing the boundaries. So far, I have determined that my taste buds in the middle of my tongue are not transmitting the complete molecular message of certain spices. Particularly, related to tomato, cumin, garlic, and onion related items. My brain is receiving some message about the input (taste), just not the right message. I had Bells Palsy a few years ago and I know what COMPLETE loss of taste is like. My best analogy for the experience is that everything tasted like ashes or what I would imagine ashes to taste like. This is not what I am experiencing as a lingering effect of COVID.
Same with smell, I am getting some of the molecular signature of things, just not the right message. Not a total loss of the ability to smell.
While I was tested and confirmed as having Covid, it could as easily been a serious case of the flu from what I understand the flu to be.
One person diagnosed - no symptoms Another - sore throat
My mother knows two people who died. Both were very ill, anyway - think multiple medications
From the vaccine I know one guy who’s legs swelled up and he couldn’t walk. He’s had to wear some kind of compression thing on his legs for 2 months, he won’t be having the second shot.
My sister got "covid" at the beginning of the whole ordeal - she had a mild cough and few symptoms. She stayed in her extra bedroom away from her husband and adult daughter. Neither got sick at all. She recovered fine. One of my best friends lost her dad to ventilator problems from covid. I do know he had several underlying health issues and had ignored his diabetes for many years. I have two auto immune diseases and take a weekly injection to keep my immune system suppressed. When covid first came out - I wore the face mask just in case it actually worked - which I doubted even then - and subsequently stopped altogether. I do all the shopping and running for my 80 year old mom and I haven't seen scores of sick people. I wonder why the homeless aren't dead in the streets tho lol. Edit: my son called me Wed with the news that one of his employees has covid - coughing etc and Dr tested covid positive. My son has taken 2 covid tests - one said positive and one negative - says he feels fine and no one else in his company has tested positive or is ill.
No one in my large family and not a single person I know or know of has had it or tested positive for it.
I still don't know anyone who has gotten it, let alone died from it.
I suspect my family had covid jan or Feb 2020. We all had low grade fevers. I remember thinking it was a weird cold because I've never had such heavy congestion. And a lingering cough. But if it was covid, it wasn't horrible.
