Question, what is a paid think tank? No one ever doubts those exists, they just never think about what they actually are. The answer is a think tank is a paid organization that designs and develops scenarios that create positive outcomes for a particular group of people often at the expense of another group of people. Stated another way they are professionals at conspiracy! Additionally, they rarely ever make their plans known, it is always in secrecy.
The first thing a think tank needs to do, convince people that they are NOT conspiring against them with the people that pay them. They need to discredit anyone that is figuring out what their plans are. Why because they want the benefits (money/power) from the outcomes of those scenarios!
Someone who is a conspiracy theorist is simply a rational thinker that knows there are groups that are joining together to benefit at a cost to others. The result of that conversation always ends the same. "I never thought about it like that."
My husband walks through, "I can't stand that guys voice" I snicker as I continue watching Salty Cracker and I hear my husband chuckling from the kitchen as he is listening as well. While Salty is does not deep dive the "conspiracy" his constant pointing out the hypocrisy is spot on.
