I would advise everyone to exhaust all other possible avenues before faking a vax card. Try for a religious exemption, try for a medical exemption, ignore your employer until they get in your face about the vax, and only then go the route of a vax card. Keep your paperwork and records. If they try to fire you over a fraudulent vax card, you can take them to court with documentation of your requested exceptions and prove that your employer was coercing you into a medical treatment against your will, and then you can explain how that unjust duress caused you to seek a fake vax card.
I view it as this: get for lying, you’re toast. Get fired for not getting the jab? Get unemployment and sue!
Also in California all vaccine doses were entered into a statewide database that HR can look up when trying to verify your card. Wouldn’t surprise me if other states had this.
You won't be able to get unemployment in most states. You need to get fired before they fire you for not vaxxing.
Is this true? I heard something to this affect on OAN yesterday. Something about getting fired for not following company policy may disqualify you for unemployment. Where should I look to see if this applies to me in my state?
I'm currently in a stand off for a religious exemption with my employer. I hope it gets approved but even if it does it's going to be really awkward between my supervisor and me. I'm sure he thinks I'm full of shit and just using the religious exception request as an excuse.

Anyone who gives you a definitive yes or no on anything these days is simply misinformed. I mean, courts have found the CDC moratorium to be illegal, yet they just issued another extension. Our whole system is such a mess I won't be surprised when they tackle us and force the vax.
As you said, it's up to the state. I found out that my state is trying to pass a law enabling us to get unemployment for not getting vaxxed.

I looked up "catholic vaccine exemption" and looked though a few. I picked and chose what I felt like fit for me from several different ones. I saw a lot for other Christian groups too so there should be examples out there.
For my work, they had a suggested template but would accept any type of format (as long as it included certain things like: employee ID, email, supervisor name, ect.). I used a traditional letter format.

I looked through the mandates late last night, there IS a database but currently CA says it’s for personal use to look up your own card. Employers in mandated industries must keep track of vaccination status but that’s separate.
Maybe I read in the latest CDPH mandate they are creating that system then?

That pdf is a legit card. I have an actual card given to me by a hospital worker friend of mine and it matches exactly. The card is printed on thick-ish card stock not thin regular “copy paper.” It’s on a card stock that would be equivalent to a wedding announcement. They have the paper at the copy centers at Office Depot or Staples. Just get a dozen or so pieces of paper and print them at home. Lining up the front and back may be slightly difficult.
Then, have it laminated. And also put it in one of those lanyards mentioned above and you won’t be able to tell the difference.

From what the doj said, the use of a federal seal upon a fake vax pass is the felony. Not having the vax pass but an official seal on the vax pas. That's what they said a few months ago. I can't find it now.
I am a newbie here but I made an account specifically to comment on this. I don't want to see anyone get in trouble by using a fake vax card. I think everyone here is an adult so you can make your own choices and live life the way you like but if you are a government employee, I would very much suggest you don't do this. Even for unofficial purposes. If you get caught it could go really badly. Especially if you go through periodic security reviews.

Fill it out that you got a Pfizer placebo, but put that into doctor's handwriting. Malicious intent is (mens rea) gone, and when criminal intent can't be proved, there is no crime. Then again, check with a lawyer because I'm just a guy that hangs out here :)
In the UK, it is their policy that law that anyone who received a placebo is to be afforded all the rights and privileges of the fully vaccinated, particularly because they didn't know they got the placebo!
