Excellent. But our side needs to start winning the word war. We aren’t “asking our employers to accept our religious objections,” we are “invoking our 1st Amendment Right to free exercise of religion.” Words are important and the left has been destroying us at it for years. Abortion is not “reproductive healthcare,” it’s “the willful destruction of an innocent human life.” “Increasing revenues” means “tax hikes.” “Undocumented workers” are “illegal aliens.” A semi-automatic rifle is not an “assault rifle” or a “weapon of war.” We can’t continue to let them decide how things are defined.
We've been brainwashed through social media and the lame stream media to have a master slave mentality with the government. We were never meant to be dependent on them or live in a nanny state. I'm a libertarian at heart. You never get back the freedom you give up.
I’ve been saying this for awhile now. The left is very good at crafting the words they use to normalize and desensitize whatever subject matter they’re talking about. As far as I know we never push back very much and we let them get away with their deceptive use of the English language. From the get go, whenever someone would say “I’m pro-choice”, we should have rebutted every single time with “no, you’re pro-murdering babies”. We should have never let even one person get away with saying “I’m pro-choice”.
So much this. We do not "request" permission to have our rights. They are already ours, endowed "by our creator". We assert them, we don't request them.
Not to take away from OP's success in the fight, but we really need to start framing this fight correctly.
They have to grant reasonable accommodations. Wouldn’t it be a reasonable to let you just keep doing whatever you’ve been doing since March 2020? Working remotely, wearing a stupid mask, keeping your distance, etc. If whatever you’ve been doing is so dangerous that you can no longer do it when a shot mandate deadline kicks in, your employer should have put you on leave a year and a half ago until it was safe to bring you back. If they had done that, they’d have a solid argument that you can only come back if you get the shot. Otherwise, it seems to be a slam dunk reasonable accommodation to simply be allowed to take the safety precautions your employer had in place before the shot became available.
How long can an employer legally have you on unpaid leave? I've been trying to search for answers because I feel like my work is going to do that to me. Waiting to hear on my religious exemption still.
PLEASE HELP! As an unemployed healthcare worker myself (I don't want to be detailed for my privacy) I have questions, hopefully you can help. I know not all employers are the same, but many ask for a whole list of vaccinations, not just covid.
The question: will they be concerned or suspicious about having a religious exemption strictly against the covid-19 vaccines?
OP (above) stated “I'm a pro life Christian and believe life begins at conception. All of the vaccines have aborted fetus cells which I believe is murder“. Use that. 🙏😇
The difference is the covid Vax has aborted fetus cells in all of approved ones which was the basis for my religious exemption. As a Christian I believe life begins at conception and abortion is murder.
PATRIOTS NEED TO CONTINUE sticking up for their rights AND NOT GIVE IN TO the “elitists” – IF WE GIVE IN TO ALL THINGS “COVID-MANDATED”…America is doomed….Ghandi’s PRINCIPLES OF “non-co-operation”, “passive aggressiveness”, “peaceful boycotts of goods and burning any British clothing they owned”… to advance his agenda to “get a fair equal treatment under British rulers” … IS ON PARALLEL WITH TODAY’S COVID-VAX MANDATE RESISTANCE… it’s amazing how history is repeating itself….
PS...you are correct....ALL the vax's HAVE ABORTED FETAL TISSUES...be they MMR, DPT, HEP A, etc...do the research & look up what "MEK" is (the "ek" stands for EMBRYONIC KIDNEY) and PER-C (the "ER" stands for EMBRYONIC RETINA)...they are the MAIN INGREDIENTS in which the different "jabs" are grown....REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
You can say you had a coming to Jesus moment during the pandemic and this converted you or made you more convicted. There another argument you can make specifically for these jections. Message me and I can give you more info
When was the last time you had a vaccine? I haven't had a vaccine since I was a toddler, maybe a year old. And that wasn't up to me, it was whatever the pediatrician gave me in 1980.
It's required for you to get vaccines while in the military, those are proven safe and have liability. Also I think I received a booster from the VA a couple years ago, forgot which one.
I'm glad you got the exemption. But if faced with a similar situation I hope I wouldn't comply/ The only way this will end is with noncompliance. Who is the State the tell me I have to be a member of one of their State approved religions? The requirement that holders of political office had to be members of the Church of England led to the establishment clause.
From Cornell University online I found:
"The First Amendment's Establishment Clause prohibits the government from making any law “respecting an establishment of religion.” This clause not only forbids the government from establishing an official religion, but also prohibits government actions that unduly favor one religion over another. It also prohibits the government from unduly preferring religion over non-religion, or non-religion over religion."
Seems the only citizens entitled to some Constitutional protections are the wealthy. I couldn't afford an attorney to argue the case. My decision to stay clotshot free doesn't require State approval.
Speaking for myself, I am literally scared shitless of taking any vaccine. Even when I see a video of someone getting the jab I whence. I can't imagine that crap running throughout my body turning. Right now, I am a composite of my mother and fathers genes, and that's how I am going to die.
WELL SAID..."It also prohibits the government from unduly preferring religion over non-religion, or non-religion over religion." ...Seems the only citizens entitled to some Constitutional protections are the wealthy. I couldn't afford an attorney to argue the case. My decision to stay clotshot free doesn't require State approval."
KUDOS TO YOU fren !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My son received a religious exemption, for now, from his “entertainment” company in California. His direct reporting boss wasn’t happy about it, because he is mandated to work from home. The Catholic Church, refused to help with the religious exemption. This shows you where many of the churches stand. They are not apolitical and many do not care about the sanctity of life. He wrote the exemption letter himself. Your company is not allowed to ask for any specific details. Originally the company wanted him to give permission to speak with his “religious advisor” per their form. He made his own form.
My mom's situation is similar. A month or more ago, her employer, a hospital, put out a statement that every worker, nurse, and doctor had to get vaxxed by November 1st. Immediately dozens of employees quit or retired, mostly on-floor workers, like janitors, cleaners, kitchen staff, etc. But some nurses left, but I'm not sure about the doctors.
Anyway, my mom put in for a religious exemption. She has yet to receive a reply on it. But it seems that the hospital is either dropping the vax mandate, or holding off for now because they are so understaffed, they want to retain as many workers as possible since it's harder to hire than it is to fire.
All of these hospitals are short staffed because employees are either leaving or being fired over Vax mandates. People shouldn't quit. Make them fire you.
She will not quit or be fired. She is way past retirement age, so if she HAD to leave she would just retire and still receive all the benefits and money they owe her. She's too old to fight something in court, and I don't expect her to, that would be something I should do since I'm younger and have more energy.
But for now it seems they won't force her to leave anyway. They're desperate for staff. They're even paying extra if you work more hours, which they've always done, but it's even more now. Makes sense since they got all those millions of dollars from each "covid" death.
But if people have "fuck you" money to quit then quitting makes a very important statement that we will not put up with this bullshit. Lots of people close to retirement age are sitting on fuck you money.
If a hospital you work for is offering a Religious Exemption take it. You're not "giving in' what you are doing is giving yourself breathing room to look for another job and to get out on your terms.
I'm an OT. I don't think the hospital would have mandated it. They did because of the state of Colorado mandate. They weren't looking for any reason to fire people. They gave everyone in my department an employee retention bonus of $1500 earlier this year. Staffing at some hospitals has reached crisis level. I hired a lawyer who wrote a very good religious exemption letter.
Do you think you would have got it if you didn't have a lawyer? My family member is wanting to do this. Just trying to figure out if the money for a lawyer is really necessary?
I'm a nuse but wfh. My very large hospital system has yet to mandate it. I'm in a very blue state with a bluer county. I'm impressed with their stance, tells me they're watching, so there's always hope!
Several sources consistently indicate that there are no fetal cells contained in the final vaccine product, that J&J used fetal cells for production, and that Pfizer and Moderna only used fetal cells during the early testing phase to test efficacy.

Most vaccines were up to our parents, not us
Great point!

i will put in my exemption, however they will require tests which i wont do. so getting a new job i guess
You should never stop looking for your next job
What was the premise of your Religious objection?
I'm a pro life Christian and believe life begins at conception. All of the vaccines have aborted fetus cells which I believe is murder.
And you are 💯 %
/u/#correct

Are they making you take a weekly test?
Yes
Man.. that sucks.
I work from home. I wonder if they approve me.
Would I need a weekly test?
How much is that test?
I think most employers are requiring weekly tests. I work at a hospital and already get tested monthly. They don't make us pay.
Right now there is not testing at the place I am it. It's mask in the office.
Since I am 100% remote. I wonder will they make me take a weekly test.
Which doesn't make sense really. I am not there in the office lol.
It's not suppose to make sense. Schools are requiring teachers who only teach online and never come on campus to get vaccinated.
This is why people need to push back instead of getting an exemption and taking weekly tests. It's absurd and it will NEVER END unless we end it.
Yo...that’s messed-up!!
If you take your own test, you look NEG to me?!
Is it a PCR test where a swab is stuck half way up to your brain?
And if PCR, do you know how many cycles they are using?
Don't accept testing, don't give them the opportunity to shove carcinogens up your nose as punishment.

Congratulations! My girlfriend just found out her hospital accepted her religious exemption a few days ago.
This should be stickied to encourage others out here to hold the line and don't give in to the jab!
Are you a nurse? Curious what kind of healthcare work they granted the exemption to because my wife is a nurse.
I'm an OT. I don't think the hospital would have mandated it. They did because of the state of Colorado mandate. They weren't looking for any reason to fire people. Not sure if I would have gotten it without the lawyer but the $165 I spent was worth it in my opinion.
We found one to do it! $250 but worth it. Thank you!
Are you willing to share the lawyer's contact information?
Telios law. Colorado
I'm a nuse but wfh. My very large hospital system has yet to mandate it. I'm in a very blue state with a bluer county. I'm impressed with their stance, tells me they're watching, so there's always hope!
Great news!
Wife works for Cox Health, here was accepted, as well as not having to do the weekly test.
If they want my religious exemption, I'll arrange their meeting with the big guy and they can ask him themselves.
Prayers answered fren! Keep praying , document everything and keep your eyes open. 🙏
Glad to hear that!
How did you word the exemption?
My lawyer wrote the letter citing my pro life beliefs as my reason citing scripture. All of the vaccines have aborted fetus cells.
Several sources consistently indicate that there are no fetal cells contained in the final vaccine product, that J&J used fetal cells for production, and that Pfizer and Moderna only used fetal cells during the early testing phase to test efficacy.

etc.
Regardless of whether this is true or not,, these same sources would be used by a company as evidence that your request is based on a false assumption and deny the request.
For this reason, a religious exemption request based on a fetal cell argument seems risky.
If that is true then what they are giving out is not what they tested.
