I am too, well the old Treks I haven't seen anything of the new treks I wanted to like Star Trek Discovery because I like Michelle Yeo, I didn't even make it through the first episode before I turned off my tv in disgust.
I did that too…. Then I went back later and tried again. It’s as bad as you think in regards to pushing homosexuality, multiple genders, etc…. But so is everything on tv now. I don’t let my kids watch any of that but I’ve kind of learned to tune it out or often use FF to skip it so I can take in the larger story. Once I did that, I got hooked and binged through it. Every once in a while they throw you a bone and have a strong male character or include some male+female love. Treasure those moments 😜
I made it through S1 and Michelle Yeoh (and the captain who sort of replaced her) were the only good things about that show. She also comes back later in the mirror universe. Maybe you can find a clip that only shows her scenes.
Agreed, he seems to be reading a script. Love the gravitas of his voice though, something about the intensity in his voice.
It does raise the one element I disliked about TNG that I didn't quite recognize until semi-recently when I tried to convince my wife to give the show a chance. Especially in the first seasons, it's like they were performing a broadway play but as a TV show.
I find that to be the case with a lot of first seasons. I think Deep Space 9 sort of embraced the theatrical roles especially with Quark and Odo, although all the Ferengi were such good character actors that I didn't mind it. I just couldn't stand the actress that played Jadzia her acting was so horrible that I was actually happy when the character died lol.
Kate Mulgrew stepped into her role as captain fairly quickly so the rest of the actors did as well on Voyager, so the cast slipped into their roles fairly well. The Tom Paris actor though ugh, but the actress who played Bellana made up for his shitty acting.
I guess none of them can hold a candle to Shatner's overacting as Kirk lol. So I try to embrace the old Star Treks with their bad acting and just enjoy the shows.
I see what you are saying, but I really do think TNG was the worst offender in that sense. It was like when you go see a play, the people have to over-emphasize emotions so that even those in the back rows can get it.
If I were to guess is my general criticism of star trek vs Battlestar Galactica. Where Star Trek had roles that were far more robotic and like an idealization of what people in the future could be like, where Battlestar had a crew of people that are far more relatable.
i take it its some sort of Cameo vid and he has no idea he is reading dangerous alt right white supremacist QAnon hate speech right? Lol he's so gonna get cancelled for this
This song completely wrecked me. I love Jesus. I pray often. But the fight is real. This daily life here on Earth. And my mood for today...this song hit dead center. And had the tears going. Thank you so much for posting this. Say praise for God using you today to speak to me. I thank you so much. And thank God for his daily blessings. He showers me. And I love Jesus Christ, with no end. Forever He is with me. And I with Him.
Thank you for making my day! I needed to reach out to someone who needed to hear the good news. It makes me know if i can help just one person then I am doing what he called us all to do! You gave me the hope I needed today! He is Alive!
Although William Shatner was the worst actor in the original Star Trek (and arguably the worst actor to ever achieve such success :) ), the "Khan" episode, followed by the Star Trek movie featuring Khan, was one of the best sci-fi pairs, imho, ever produced for TV/theater.
Okay this is just too weird the other night I was watching TV with my girl, which I never do, and this guy suddenly shows up on screen, and then my girl said "oh my God, this guy" but I wasn't sure what she meant. I didn't ask her and I didn't bring up Q. She knows I'm into Q but I try not to talk about it with her.
Went to /pol and saw the at the top a post about Rudy Giuliani under oath. SO I watched.
Here's something fun I noticed. When the anchor reads the Q & A, she says, "Dominion Voting Systems" and the text says "Dr. Coomer" @0:57. Now yes, at the very beginning of the video, they show papers on the slide that clearly indicate they are talking about Eric Coomer who is never actually specifically mentioned via audio in the video, BUT the way that was misspoken or miscaptioned later @0:57 was almost like an easter egg... almost like Dr. Coomer is an easter egg, which he is in the game half-life. The Black Mesa scientist who presumably worked in sector C, Dr. Coomer, is an easter egg in the game that's a nod to an employee at valve. So, maybe there's more here or maybe it's a funny little coincidence.
The "Back up" picture... or meme seems out of place too.
The anchor, after perfectly lining up with all of the other captions and even animating them when she speaks, again misspeaks @1:51 saying "this man" instead of "about that call".
Oh, and there's a red white dotted tie too (raskin) who says "you don't knock over the capital of the United States of America for free". The capital was "knocked over"? What?
Well, I would say the audaciousness of the plan was nuts: Overturning a couple of centuries of puppeteering was not going to go graciously into this good night; yet, here we are. Prepare for a world of freedom and all its responsibilities, we are there. Let the roundup proceed accordingly.
Omg I love it! The orginal Q saying trust the plan.
I know he's probably just trolling but damn I love John De'lancy's Q
Sounds like he browses /pol/ too.
LOL
...or did someone from /pol/ pay him to read their script?
Imma go back and re read the Q drops in Q's voice / cadence just for fun.
https://qalerts.app/?n=918
Wait until you learn who has been talking to you here (, el capitan) Q (snap)
"Richard the Q"
This made my week. AHAHAHA ...
Aww bummer that he was probably paid to read someone's script. For a brief moment, I thought a celebrity could actually be a closet Anon. Boo-Hoo...
Oh well. I still love it! At least he didn't refuse because he's an asshole.
Knowing Gilbert Gottfried, he wrote that one himself.
TGN?!..... /Doubt
You mean Judge Q? Encounter at Farpoint? The crew of the Enterprise on trial in a court setting of the late 21st century judicial system?
You're going to have an awesome weekend. I'm a bit envious. Enjoy! :)

What a fucked up timeline we are on right now.
What did it for me was the shiny Klingons, I just couldn't after that lol.
They look a little better in s2
But...
Everything is world-ending-nonstop action hot garbage.
The saving grace of the show was Lorca and Pike. Both awesome actors with a good story behind them.
No exploration. No philosophy. Just a pretty dumpster fire with a almost decent storyline in the background.
Yeah like with the remakes of the star Trek movies ugh.
Yeah they've ruined and then killed it.
Long live Star Trek and STNG. And that's IT.
Star trek is for commies.
Who did Kirk replace?
A. Pike?
Kek

I will have to look for it.
Some of it I enjoyed.
Star Trek: Voyager is one of my favorite series though.
jIf they don't pull the same woke shit, I'd love to see a revival of Stargate... maybe even some feature films...
Stargate is my favorite sci-fy show of all time.
SG 1 and Atlantis I watched many times wasn't a big fan of Universe though
My namesake 😂🤣😂🤣😂❤❤❤❤❤

Yep I see what you mean. That's why I liked Farscape a lot because the characters were much more relatable.
OMG Farscape, most underrated show that ever existed! I fucking love farscape!!
Keep in mind they did a lot of their casting with stage actors.
Yes, I believe that's correct. This might be part of why so few Star Trek actors had any film success beyond the series.
Alright so who shelled out how much to get him to say this...
i take it its some sort of Cameo vid and he has no idea he is reading dangerous alt right white supremacist QAnon hate speech right? Lol he's so gonna get cancelled for this
I think he's going on a record just in case we were right after all ... you know ... the timing.
This is probably just one of those paid cameo things where you can pay them to say whatever you want.

Here's another good one, IMHO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz7578ZNwNU
That's a good one, thank you. Here's my favorite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz7578ZNwNU
I’m getting weird John McAfee vibes off this dude
He's reading a script. Watch his eyes dart back to the right (his left) when he finishes the line hes on.
But he did play Q in star trek tng, hes a nearly omnipotent deity who fucks with the ST crew to see what humanity is worthy of existing pretty much.
Hes a good actor and one of the best characters in the series according to many

I think the 'actor' is OP, don't they have the same name?
Could be.
Could be the OP reuploaded the vid to his rumble channnel. Either way thats John DeLancie
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_de_Lancie
yes, you're right. I was confused until I went through the comments.
I haven't watched TV for years, so didn't know the man was an actor, just thought OP was kind of quirky;)
Okay this is just too weird the other night I was watching TV with my girl, which I never do, and this guy suddenly shows up on screen, and then my girl said "oh my God, this guy" but I wasn't sure what she meant. I'm so pissed off I didn't find this first .... LOLOL
❤🙌
From one Q to another.....
that was fun
Went to /pol and saw the at the top a post about Rudy Giuliani under oath. SO I watched.

Ok bro
He's aged a little since STNG.
Ok, I usually get things right away but can someone explain...
Thanks. I didn’t watch that one, was overseas. I’ll share it with hubby, he’s a fan!
hehe
Yes because the only problem with the Q phenomenon was that we weren't creepy enough :p
BTW, what is the plan?
Giving you the benefit of the doubt.
You might be new, or joking, and we don't talk about it much as it is old news and well known.
https://qagg.news/?q=trust+the+plan
Its sure to be a cameo but boy its funny lmao
This is great.
Where can I download this? (no social media links please)
This is big NGL but be cautious about spreading. This could very well be a honeypot with a disavow / discredit following.
