He's tripod now, too much nerve damage though the scapula could have been repairable doc was worried the limb wouldn't function. No internal damage, lungs good, heart good. One rib cracked but "not a big deal"

Honestly, they seemed kinda weirded out. Brought them in one at a time. One cautiously licked his face, the rest seemed uncomfortable and stayed by the door.

Rejoice! I had a beautiful Golden retriever who had a leg removed due to cancer, he wasn’t as fast, but he got around very well. Big issue is to keep his weight healthy. Our tendency is too treat too much.
