Republicans intention IS to restrict voting. Restrict voting to allow legal votes only. Not illegal aliens, not dead people, not voters using fake ID's, not felons, not Dominion software generated votes, not votes counted multiple times, not votes pulled out of boxes in the middle of the night, not votes "found" in the trunk of a car, not votes "harvested" from nursing homes, flop houses, homeless camps, vacant buildings, PO boxes, barns, hotels or such, you know.... legal votes. Show me how you are going to do this and we can start to talk about it.....

I disagree. The purpose of 2A is to prevent the government from tyrannical behavior. Should a felon who has been released be confined to relying on everyone else to defend him? Think of a retarded person who is severely autistic or something. Should they not be allowed to defend themselves from the government? The answer is to have more guns in more hands to prevent the one idiot from using their gun for harm. 1) if I see someone about to harm you, I can kill them. 2) if you are being attacked, you can defend yourself.

As long as it only registers your eligibility to vote ..... and is nothing more than an ‘eligibility’ given the proposed voter meets all the criteria to vote in the first place and an application must be made in person.....

How about this: when you get your driver’s license or state ID, you swear you are a U.S. citizen under penalty of 20 years in prison if a lie. Your Picture is on your license and state ID, which you must show to vote. This is cross referenced with your birth certificate. You must declare your state and country of birth.
Duh, isn't that what voter id is supposed to be in the first place? For citizens, of course. It's like this basically everywhere else. Your passport is your voter id.
