Although I'm not a sports nut, the more I hear about Aaron Rogers, the more I like him. After Alex Trebek died, I thought he was the best host on "Jeopardy" as his intellect and easy manner showed through the TV screen. Right now, however, I can't bring myself to watch "Jeopardy" with that ugly man in a dress as the current champion. Has he been beaten yet? Anyone know?
Not an Aaron fan, but quite pleased with his red pilling everyone, he has a loud voice. I'm sure he's not alone, but he's more bullet proof than lesser players.
Hmmm, just blue skying here, but what if "Jeopardy" has gone full woke-tard and have decided to pit him against weak contestants to ensure a woke outcome? I wouldn't put it past the network to help push the trans agenda, since they're already pushing the vaxx agenda.
The problem I have with Ayn Rand's philosophy is that while private enterprise can do a better job than government for a good many things, her "laissez faire" ideology that businesses should just be left to do what they want isn't really the best idea, either. Just look at what Big Pharma is doing to us all.
Businesses are not simply "left to do what they want" according to her philosophy. If anything the people would have greater legal recourse against big companies for damages they cause them. According to Objectivism any act that causes harm or impedes on the liberties of another party must pay restitution. She rails against the kind of thing Big Pharma is doing by coercing government to mandate their product. People would never buy from Pfizer with their track record without government backers propping them up with "studies" and "approvals". With no government approval system reputation would mean everything with drug companies, and Pfizer has a terrible reputation. Moderna had never made a vaccine before COVID, etc.
As a Christian I certainly don't prescribe to Objectivism, however I do find it the most true secular philosophy. If there was no God, Ayn Rand would be the person to follow if you wanted society to work.
Very true. The excuse I make for Rand though is that during her time, there wasn't a clearly established link between enourmous corporations (like Amazon) and political leftist, like there is today.
If anything, back then it tended towards the other way. Today though we have the clarity of being able to see how big business and leftism go hand in hand.
Actually, one of the running themes of "Atlas Shrugged" was what we today call "cronyism" in relationships between the government and favored industries. She was very aware of this incestuous relationship, and always made the point that it was not a feature of capitalism, but a corruption of capitalism. Businesses could not seek favors unless the government had favors to hand out.
Important to keep in mind that our big pharma industry today operates within the economic policy of State Corporatism, which is the economic policy of fascism. It also happens to be the policy of China, which makes the CCP more fascist than communist.
the only reason big pharma gets away with all this bullshit is because the government sanctions their bullshit and
protects them from consequences. This is not capitalism.
What we are witnessing is the merging of big business and big government. That's what Germany was all about a hundred years ago. Time for Nuremberg 2.0!
Anyone who hasn't read it or at least seen the movies Is missing out on the point of MAGA.
you see, we deny them our sweat, blood and intellects for use to make THEM money. Instead we do it for ourselves and with like-minded people excluding them if they can't compete we.stsrve them.of our labor amd ideas. Let them eat their fake money.
I remember when i read that book, i was amazed at the truth in it. I came home and gushed to my wife avout this amazing book. Lol she never did read it. So glad there is still intellectual peeps out there.
My future, now ex-husband was so impressed that I had read it. Guess he thought I was an idiot before reading it! Turns out, I know he never read it himself. He is even worse than a flaming liberal.
Agreed on the audio book for shrugged. Makes it easier to digest. Its also great for re-listening (vs re-reading, its a beast). I listened on some overseas flights in college. Its in my dads rotation still, he listens to it in the gym, he has gone through it dozens of times lol. Great option for anyone looking to tackle it
Side note: my husband wasn't a big reader until I got him into audiobooks. One of the first (if not the first) was The Fountainhead. It was a life changing book for me... and for him too, but in a different way.
One of my favorite books i read when i was a kid,
I was lucky that had a great teacher that was kinda like alex jones lol who i remember telling me it was really important to read books like 1984 and Atlas Shrugged and a bunch of others when the rest of the school wanted me to read romeo and Juliet and such.
I remember think he was a little crazy at the time but so glad i listened as now i can understand where he was coming from this was back when the male teachers were not all faggots and were good role models.
You should see the reviews it gets so many leftys cant take it and its always hilarious.
Aaron Rodgers is already the best QB in football, and one of the greatest of all time. If he wins the Super Bowl this season he'll be a redpill megaphone for the whole country.
Well well well
Seems the sports pros are taking red pills now
Perhaps John Galt has run out of giants of industry.. 😉
Who dat?
WE are John Galt!! 😁

🟡🟣 #GoVikes 🟣🟡 (Still loathing the NFL fwiw)
I saw that he won again last night.
Who?
Some faggot apparently.
A male contestant in a dress, I think.
Ugh... OK, I'll watch something else until he's gone.
He won again tonight.

This has 100% crossed my mind.
aka 1000 Twitter bots said mean things about a guy reading abook......

Well, there was Nazi Germany, which was big corproations merged with socialist leftists.

Its a classic. My favorite Rand book has always been the short story Anthem.
None of their business what he reads.
I'm turning gay for this dude.
😂
Atlas shrugged is a good book, but I believe her book "We the Living" is really the best.
I really enjoyed the Virtue of Selfishness
Ohh i dont think ive read that one. Thanks ill read
my favorite book. Atlas Shrugged and the Fountainhead were life changing for me.
Kinda a hero imo. He stood up and put it all on the line where it counted most in his life. Waking others up.
He? Who is HE?
Rodgers
He's going out of his way to troll the left.
o7
Skol!
Ha, the book is the same way, very small print & 1000 pgs
Find the audiobook - that's how I read it, and it was delightful.
Edit: your library probably has some copies ... I get all my audiobooks there.

I bought this book a long time ago in an actual bookstore, not on line. The clerk looked at me and said very sternly, "This is a dangerous book."
I thought at the time, what a fuckin Commie. Now I see commies everywhere I look. Sad.

Libertarians Unite!
Rush the band were big fans of hers and a lot of their music inspired by her
