That is precisely why Content Distribution Services like CloudFlare exist. They act as robust middle men to absorb attacks and obfuscate the literal identity of servers.

Q was using Q&A Sessions to stress test CloudFlare at given times to coincide with important posts. The result was CloudFlare folded and entire CDN dispatches tanked - meaning not just 8chan went offline but so did many of their other clients which violated their SLA ( uptime contract ).

CloudFlare played like they cancelled 8Chan because of violence etc. Truth was they could accommodate record setting sophisticated State-Level Attacks. CloudFlare was having intrusions and other disruptions by Actors telling them it would stop if they deplatformed.

Stopping the internet is far easier than you think.
