Canada Right Now: It is hard to overstate how big this thing is getting - this is a typical scene that is playing out at EVERY SINGLE highway overpass on our 400-series highways as well as the Trans-Canada Highway, and at each location, more drivers join the convoy. Very proud moment for us.

I know! Just got home from the small over pass 5 min from my house. Thought there would be maybe a half dozen cars there. Instead there had to have been at least a hundred ! Some sat in their cars beeping their horns but most were standing with signs and flags(like me). It is minus 13 but with the wind chill more like minus 20. The bigger area where people were meeting to support the truck convoy is about 20 min drive away and I'm sure there was 5 times as many people there! Amazing! Pretty near froze and feel like I have frost bite on my cheeks....face and butt (!) but it's nice to be part of history. (New Brunswick, Woodstock area)

Yep, that is why up north you tend to find thicker coats and people find ways to stay warm. We bought a whole set of hand and foot warmers
Depending on how dry it is and how hard the wind is blowing, it's actually not that bad. This is especially true if the sun is out. Once you get past -25 it's another level. This is of course assuming that you're used to the cold
The worst I experienced was -35 + windchill. I had to walk about 15 blocks, I was going and eventually started getting tired. Looked at the snow bank and figured I could warm up covered in snow.
Then I slapped myself and told myself that I was being stupid and if I lied down that I wasn't going to get back up again.
Finally got home and it took about 2 hours under blankets before I stopped shivering.
I was staking claims in the NWT once and when I finished my portion I was exhausted. I laid down to rest while waiting for my colleague to meet up with me. When I woke up, the helicopter was landing to pick "us" up and I had an inch of fresh snow on me. My colleague had injured himself and was in the helicopter with broken ribs. If things had gone differently, I might not have woken up.
I'll never take a nap in the snow again.

I really worry a counter protest of some sort will get violent and the media will spin this the way they usually do. They're preemptively calling it Canada's J6 and calling people crazy for worrying antifa will make an appearance. Trudeaus in hiding as well. This is too big for him to just do nothing. Be safe and stay peaceful. Document everything. Have faith!
Antifa will be there but by the time this is said and done over 150,000 trucks will be in Ottawa with 1.5 million people. Even Antifa must realize they cant win.

My wife and I were at one of our local overpasses for a few hours this afternoon. Awesome way to meet local patriots. This made it super easy for people to be involved as it literally brought the protest to each area.
I've been awake since 911, knowing what was going on, but with no hope for a solution. Then along came que 5 years ago, and there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Today that light got a lot brighter.
Is that child masked or is it for the cold? Doesn't drop below 10 C where I live so I don't use cold weather gear.

In -10F weather those masks might do some good for once. They keep your breath warm and keep your face from freezing off. I don’t know if OP is meaning F or C but it’s likely F since -10F is normal where I live. -13F = -25C

it's great to see so many young Canadians there to see all those patriots rolling down the road and for them to be part of this moment in time. I hope that they will never forget this and their parents can teach them that they ARE in control of their destiny... not some shitball in government.
