Yesterday (Sunday) my daughter, a senior at a high school here in CA, posted on her social media that the time has come for students to ban together and not wear masks, beginning Monday. She has a huge social media following and it exploded quickly. At first, a ton of disgusting comments from the obnoxious loud mouths. But as the day/evening went on yesterday, the tide has turned to much more positive feedback.
Her post was shared/reposted by kids at other local schools and it quickly snowballed. Someone must have alerted the district that my daughter was getting bullied online, so last night the school sent out an email to parents of all students, and also told my daughter that they would have a police officer to walk her to classes, for her safety. Not that she needs that, as over 20 boys from the school's sports teams (her boyfriend is varsity football) have messaged her saying they would be walking her to classes.
About 40 kids stood firm today, no masks, and were sent home. She doesn't know if this will increase tomorrow, or lose momentum, so we'll see how it goes.
She is learning a much more important lesson today than she would have learned had she been in class.
Maybe all of these kids' parents should show up in the parking lot and honk their horns until the mask mandate is removed. HONK!

Lol. Reminds me of videos early in Covid when people would park and honk and flash car lights by hospitals in support of front-line workers. Interesting, isn’t it?
My how things have changed haven't they? Turns out the dancing nurses were killing people with Remdesivir, Fentanyl, and Mechanical Vents the whole time.
great idea
Major kudos to your daughter. You must be very proud, and raising her to stand for her principles which is sorely lacking in this country. Keep us posted on how it goes. We need more of this!
This is Liberal California government, backed by teachers unions and liberal nut teachers.
Yeah, color me shocked! 😲
I was expecting someone to say this was Canada where the momentum is accelerating.
This is a good, solid life lesson for your daughter. I hope it goes her way. If it does, she may learn that sometimes, just one person standing up and being brave will cause others to line up behind them in support. Or, she might learn that many people are cowardly and will go with the flow of the large crowd, regardless of what is right. Either way, she will learn a lesson about human nature that she will likely carry with her for life.
Good for her!
Mid-day update, she just texted me this…
“The vice principal told people that if they leave school 3 times that they are going on a behavior contract and if the absence is unexcused that the teachers dont have to allow students to get points for assignments.”
I need to clarify on this, because they did not voluntarily “leave school” they went to class and then were instructed to leave because they weren’t wearing masks.
This is the crux of it for the kids. My daughter had to “quarantine” for ten days bc she “chose” to travel and wasn’t offered zoom… they were considered unexcused absences. I called the super and principal out, shame on them for making politics a priority over kids education.
This is sounding like it's shaping up to be a class-action lawsuit.
Way to go raising a child that will not be intimidated into doing something they don't believe in! The women are leading the way on many fronts and in this climate we need that. Not that the men don't need to stand up, but it's easy to slander us. These girls fighting back is powerful, keep it up!
Awesome! Winning
please report back tomorrow. i am going to share with my daughters.
We need young patriots to stand up too. You must be a proud parent. 👍
💪💪💪💪👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Leaders are emerging! Congrats on having one!!!
Good for her & the other students for standing up for their rights! Raised her right!
So when she showed up without a mask, what did the police officer say/do? And did she get sent home along with the other smart non-mask wearing students?
I can't believe how bad California has gotten! I'm glad I graduated in 67 didn't have to put up with all that garbage!
Your daughter is my hero and Im a grown man
Students are in a very unique position to help end this tyranny world wide. They likely don't own anything, some have a job but nothing they need to desperately keep to feed themselves, truly they have nothing to lose and the whole world to gain by fighting this. Plus what kid likes school, it's a total no brainer to fight this as a kid/teenager. Thanks for posting this, it's icing on the cake to my mom finally waking up and my sister and her fiancé have realized this is bullshit now too.
WE THE PEOPLE
God bless her! This is so encouraging to see brave young people!
Our future leaders.
Excellent, be proud and stand behind your daughter. Good Job!
Really happy for you from SoCal where nada is happening in LA county.
Have you checked out PERK? So Cal organization, organizing at school board meetings, and winning lawsuits. Check 'em out! They'll tell you when to show up and who to write and call. In my municipality, they were a big part of the vax mandate not passing. (Bad guys will try again, but we'll fight next month, too.) Link to site: https://www.perk-group.com/
Thank you, I will check it out.
Thank you, I’ll look.
Stand strong. Many many many patriots in CA. I don't think people have an idea how many there are. Election fraud and fraudulent voting for decades can really make us think other. Cheers!
Peaceful resistance is always welcomed. This is the way.
Central Coast Ca high school had nice mandate protest today, maybe in response to your daughter's posts!
Getting suspended is a badge of honor. Not having to attend school for the day .... oh it'll grow quick
WOW!!! Way to GO! That is awesome and much respect to your daughter and you for raising her so well! :-)
If those kids stay home, they lose a ton of federal money.
👍🙏🏻
sounds like your daughter is smart.. a product of good parenting!!
They lose a lot of money,if the kids don't attend school,I bet your daughter and friends can hold out longer.
Highschoolers use facebook? Pics or it didn't happen.
She doesn't use FB, she's on IG and Snapchat.
Ok that makes sense then, my nephews use IG and snapchat kek. They don't touch FB because their parents are on it.
Keep us updated!
Bet $100 that the ones who want to remain muzzled are part of the alphabet soup crowd.
You must be so proud of your daughter ❤️ such an uplifting look at these strong and based young people - please keep us all posted on how this situation plays out!
yay for your daughter standing up against tyranny!
