The response by the government schools (some mistakenly call them public schools) will have a permanent effect moving forward. My young kids are entering grade school next year, and we had always planned to have them go through our city's school system. They haven't even been as bad as some places but they started the school year with no masks, then went to no masks in class at desks but everywhere else, and then back to full masking at all times. They can't be trusted and they just continue to show that in the wide open for all to see. Trust is not easy to get back and so our kids are now enrolled in a small private school in the country when they start in the fall and will stay away from government schools in the future.
It's really sick that senior citizens are forced to pay for these worthless schools with ever expanding property taxes. There is no reason for 80-90 year olds to be forced to fund these trash-heaps.
