I dunno. The guy appears to be a fool, not a slaver. He was caught with images on his phone and mushrooms, not grooming or kidnapping. Meanwhile, the folks at Snapchat who provide the images he was looking at, aren't being punished, and violent robbers, thieves and vandals are serving less time. I guess you'd have to be there to know what he really did, but it seems harsh to me.
Sorry but possession of child porn is a serious crime and deserves every minute of time these sick people get.

I wouldn't be surprised if my 3rd grade teacher is evil. She treated all the kids poorly, me in particular. No clue why. She should never have been allowed near children; she terrorized me. I knew she was evil because one day the sky was puke green, and practically every time she yelled, there was lightning followed by thunder. Now, I understand there is evil in the world.
Teachers take care of kids all day. It would be no surprise to me if the last thing they want to do after taking care of and wrangling kids all day for work is to take care of their own kids. At least I wouldn't want to after teaching all day. Despite that, I know plenty of teachers who had kids like everyone else. My cousin's are both teachers and have 4 kids. My mom was a teacher and had 3 of us kids. A couple people I studied history with in college are history teachers and track coaches and they each have a kid by now. I help teach a computer science class and the main classroom teacher I with with has two kids. Really probably depends on the person and where they are in life.

I thought everyone on here agreed that the cops are nothing more than agents of the tyrannical Deep State? Defunding the police is the right move, despite what some may say on here. Police are not friends for normal citizens, and they are violent arms of the state that are immune from consequences, doesn't matter what they do. That's not how it should be. I actually agree with the left on this issue. Being against police violence and the continued expansion of the police state is a good thing actually, rather than being a boot licking cop lover.
Defunding the police is a catch all.
What they're really saying is there should be no law and order because they've been discriminated against for so long.
Where has defunding the police actually worked? I mean yeah, it would work in palm springs. But it sure as shit doesn't work in Detroit.
By the way, stating that defunding the police is just a slogan, it doesn't mean I'm a bootlicker, but if you can't see there's a middle than I don't know what I can actually say to you that would make one bit if difference
We can't say where defunding the police has worked because it hasn't happened anywhere really. The militarized police state continues to exist. It could work in Detroit. How many tanks and shit does a local police agency actually need? I'd guess none. How often do you actually need a police officer to respond to a mental health crisis when a mental health expert would be better in 99% of instances? How many fancy toys actually increase the effectiveness of policing instead of just continuing to feed the military industrial complex?
These are options for getting rid of police power without affecting the ability of police to respond to crimes or home invasions or whatever else. And just because you believe BLM is actually after lawlessness doesn't mean defunding the militarized arm of the state is a bad idea at all.
