Part of what drives protests is the levels of oppression. In most US states, almost all the restrictions have been lifted for many months now. At the time the Canadian Trucker protest started, COVID was gone but the restrictions were as bad as ever. The Canadian Federal ones are still in full force. For example: Vaccinations to cross Canada/US border, Vaccinations to fly domestically or to get on a train. This is all still in place after the vaccines have proven to be ineffective and dangerous, and after COVID vanished. Canada is a good example of no government policy or new power ever being temporary.
I feel the same. I also feel like Canada had reached their "precipice". The way all of that went down, I felt like it was their last stand... If that makes any sense? I fear we have not reached that point here in the U.S. I have to admit I am curious how far things will go here in the U.S. once it gets to that point. Maybe it never will. I don't know.

In Canada, the courts have refused to do their jobs and have not pushed back against any mandates at all. There are not checks an balances in Canada. It's open season on tyranny.
In addition, the Canadian Truckers are definitely very courageous. In a country where Marxism is the de facto religion, it takes courage to stand up to it. In the US, a protesting trucker knows he will get decent support form the public and they have some constitutional protections (those that are left). In Canada, when the convoy started, I'm sure the truckers didn't know what was going to happen. And in the end, their charter rights (Canadian version of US constitution) were trampled on, their property was attacked, and the legacy media lied about them without hesitation. However, it does seem like some Canadians did wake up and they did have descent support from at least a subset of Canadian. But not from the courts or from almost any politicians. Even most right leaning politicians that should have been on their side, didn't openly support them, but they at least didn't lie about them like BlackFaceHitler (the official name of the leader of Canada).
I have been silent about it up until now, as I didn't want to come across as trying to cause division or drama over it.

The Ottawa subreddit was full of people complaining this past weekend that the truckers were back downtown. The comments were incredibly hateful, as you can expect from that sub.
Oh man, me too. I miss the trucks! They brought so much life and joy to downtown Ottawa, it was the best feeling in the world. It boggles my mind how downtown residents could actually think walking among the truckers would get them raped and killed.

Could the Truckers be coordinating with WH ops to cut Washington off from the outside world, as in an old fashion naval blockade, to cut deep state assets avenue of escape as the hammer falls? Circling the beltway would be a good way to do it. There are more National Guard being called in by cabal puppets, but whose side will they protect?
