My mom was forced to have 2 abortions at a very young age (13 & 15) by her mom. When she got pregnant again at 17 with my older brother, her mom wanted her to have another abortion, but by that time she was old enough to tell her no and she left home. She went on to marry and have another son with the same man. But it didn't workout, and she met my dad, who she had known from high school and she had me and my little brother.
She never wanted those abortions, she confessed to me, and she was extremely ashamed about it. So, if she was sterilized, my brothers and I would of never been born.
Did you not pick up on the fact she was being abused via incest in her own home and her mom was using abortion to cover it up?!. A huge part of the abortion industry is covering up abuse. smh
Perhaps you misread "with my older brother" (meaning OP's older brother was conceived by their mom when their mom was seventeen - and would be the mom's first pregnancy to come to term/birth) with something like OP's mom got pregnant by her own brother (which would be OP's uncle). Think "pregnant with" vs "pregnant by".
Dysfunctional family and childhood. Her father (my grandfather) was an alcoholic. She didn't talk much about it, but the one and only story she told me about was that he would come home drunk and would chase them around their property with a gun.
It's sad, because he was a horse jockey and relatively good at it, but drank his money away and he would also get into bar fights and have to pay out after he was sued.
What I also forgot to mention is my mom would ask my grandmother for birth control, but she told her she didn't want her "whoring all over town" (but abortion was totally fine 🙄). I think she was only having sex with her boyfriend, who she later married and had my older brothers.
No incest involved. Just a troubled and dysfunctional family life. My grandfather was an angry alcoholic and would abuse my grandmother, I don't know the whole story because my mom wouldn't talk about it much. He sobered up later on in life and was a better man, but he died from cancer when I was about five. My mom had issues because of her childhood and it's probably why she started having sex so young.
The best man at my wedding has a daughter. She had 4 abortions while still in high school. I agree that the first one may have been because she just plain fucked up. But the next three? Fuck that. Sterilization may not be the answer but clearly her parents have failed, they should have at least forced her to take the pill.
There is one person she will have to answer to, God Almighty. She is a tramp who deserves sterilization. I have seen, in my nursing career, many abortions that have gone awry: some the mother got septic or died and did not survive after transfer to the hospital to correct Planned Parenthood’s botched abortion. God told that mother and her family something. Only a God giveth and can taketh.
Stop. We understand there are extreme cases. The general abortion getter is doing it as birth control. Therefore sterilize them so their stupidity doesn't affect anyone else.
Not good for our side to be arguing the workarounds
I'm not necessarily sure that people understand, but I digress. I agree with you, but it must also be stated that covering bases is part of arguing in good faith which helps onlookers choose your arguments to side with.
Not all opinions are valid. If my opinion is that the world population should be lowered by vaccines, healthcare, and buying vast amounts of farms in the US, while pushing fake meats, vaccines, and being not a physician myself; I would not say those are valid opinions. Bill Gates may truly believe them, but when people say, you need to validate my opinion, or everyone's opinion is valid, they don't mean the opinion isn't a fake one to trick someone. They mean it is societally acceptable. There are unacceptable views held by some Americans. Things like abortions are unacceptable when you understand what abortion is. The view that you can kill someone, whether out of inconvenience, or "concern" for the upbringing (or lack thereof) does not dictate right to life, at least not under the US Constitution.
I'm telling you what 99% of people see when that type of statement is thrown around. I know that isn't the technical meaning of the word, but gay used to mean happy, and here we all are.
I agree 100%. After I had one child, and raised her on my own till she was 13. Then I finally got married. However I knew I didn’t want any other children, so by the time I was 40 I had a tubal ligation. That way I knew for sure 100% that if I was having sex I wouldn’t have an unwanted pregnancy. Regardless, had i gotten pregnant I would never of had an abortion. I had one early in my life, and I really have never forgiven myself for that.
My daughter that I have now just made it out of the wire. I had been a drug addict early in my life living in Southern California, accepted Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and about six months later I was pregnant. That was a new Christian, and just finally quitting drugs after 13 years.
It was due to my pastor, and him leading me to a pro-life organization, where I watched some videos, that I decided to keep my baby. I believe my pregnancy is what helped me to quit drugs completely, because I never used drugs while I was pregnant or after that.
My faith in Christ, and being clean and sober, and having this new joy in my life is what made my life livable and something enjoyable. I’m grateful!
Nah. this is some eugenics-era shit. I don't even support sterilization of pedophiles, they should just be executed imo.
If women don't want babies, not having sex was only unsuccessful ONCE and i think we're all glad about that one.
They also have reasonable odds with a variety of contraception if they are shallow and have to put out to get attention. We shouldn't be the society of letting women scapegoat their poor choices and lack of responsibility by sacrificing the unborn, but giving the state the authority to do this to people is worse than the death penalty imo.
I disagree. Wholeheartedly. However, you can’t do a tubalegation or vasectomies. Those can be reversed. If people want to have kids later in life, then they can have those procedures reversed and be available to make babies.
If they put as much money as they do into abortions, into providing free vasectomies and tubal ligations, we wouldn’t even have the problem we’re having right now.
But they won’t, because it’s not about that. It’s about child sacrifice, the blood they get from that and the human trafficking of body parts. It’s always about the money and the blood
Social piety and hypocrisy is thick in this thread.
Ermagherd abortion bad into YES Forced Sterilization FTW
Who here will answer the socialism question when we have 1 million unwanted babies per year, the majority belonging to the impoverished?
Population is only getting bigger, right now a million is lucky, what do you do when it is 4 million, 5?
Tell me why in a political climate like this one, so MANY states have near bans or heartbeat bills? Literally people were burning houses and destroying businesses over a drug addicted felon dying but not even a single window breaking from antifa, BLM, YCO, DSA over abortion (which they consider an absolute essential right)
You know exactly why that is, because their handlers aren't telling them to, they know exactly where ALL OF THIS will lead and then in the end they'll get their abotion rights anyways.
Everyone here is supposed to be awake and you're being rope a doped like normie single issue voters.
My father gave me a lazy eye from daddy, my sister born at 2 LB 5 oz had only 4 days of life. Some Daddys should have been in jail...
I lived through hell as a child but I lived. Not going to back and forth I note your comments. I certainly only starting a discourse debate. I knew some salty tears would flow from some anons.
i took it as a discussion starter, not a joke.. then again by the time i saw this thread the original post had edited down to being only a single period so shrug
That would make a “birth person” think twice! Lol! On the other hand, these “children” having sex were not allowed the “choice” of whether to get the Covid shot or not. That choice was taken away from them by parents, schools, employers or peer pressure. Or how about the parents or teachers who indoctrinate children into changing genders. Did they have a choice at age 6, 8, or 12? So NOW we say they SHOULD have a choice? You can’t have it both ways. Maybe if parents and children learn earlier rather than later that actions have consequences, i.e. abortion and sterilization, carrying the baby and adoption or working yourself to the bone for the next 18 years because the government is not going to support you (sitting on the couch in government housing, eating junk food provided by EBTA, and health care for you and your children because you get pregnant again and again), but you are going to have to work to get housing, health care and food for yourself and child, enlist family and friends for childcare (maybe work two jobs to pay for it and almost never see your child), or adopt your child out into a good home, you will make more mature decisions when younger. What changed in the past 80-100 years? Children stopped going to school at grade 8, worked the family farm or found a job to help the family. They married young, raised and supported their own family, went off to war. Now we are raising a bunch of irresponsible drugged and drunk children whose motto in the 60’s was “if it feels good, do it!” We tried to make everything easier for our children and instead they turned into irresponsible and ungrateful addicts and losers.
Forced sterilization is awful and should never be taken lightly. Forced sterilization should only be performed with due process in a court of law and decided by a jury of peers. It was all the way into the 80's where Indian women and girls were sterilized without their knowledge on Indian Reservations. This is an atrocity that no one has ever been held accountable for. Remember every law or tool with potential for good can hold the same potential for evil. Be careful what ideas you support and use reasonable judgement and careful thought and reasoning to make up your minds.
I think this post is a confusing post. The comment section proves it. Let me be clear: There is nothing good about abortion. To say what punishment should be had? That would be a better question / discussion.
I say, punish the doctors. Start with a day, so say it's overturned, and ratified into US law June 28th. The law ought to say, June 29th, 2022, any abortion performed is a crime, and any doctor or person caught performing an abortion will be punished IAW section 3.2.a.4 or persons listed from section 4.1.d.5 will be tried in a grand jury, and if found guilty, they will be awarded punishment found in section 2.1.a.1, the death penalty.
How fucking hard is it to use a condom, be on the pill, or both if you don't want kids. Abortion should only be a last resort for rape, incest, etc. and even then limited to first trimester.
They don't have the effectiveness they say they do. That depo shot is notorious for failing. Had a friend get pregnant after a tubal even. I don't advocate for abortion, but I do know that birth control fails a lot more than people realize.
Unfortunate for the teenage girls who are only being told to do so by their parents & don't fully understand what's happening to them or how it's going to be detrimental to their existence 30 years later.
I'll say that sterilization should be easier for both men and women, but that comes down to the individual doctor. I read r/Childfree and there are plenty of stories of doctors turning down younger men and women, because they "might change their mind." I'm not really trying to equate the two, but a sex change is irreversible; some forms of sterilization can be reversed. Not all people want to be parents, and some people shouldn't be parents.
Doctors shouldn't let their personal views dictate whether or not they will perform a sometimes reversible procedure on someone.
I mean even amongst awakened people like us child free is considered taboo and wrong. Natalism also runs deep even amongst liberals, which obviously makes sense, we are genetically coded to want to repoduce...
But humanity has shown what separates us from the apes and other high intelligence mammals is we know how to control and rationalize our genetic impulses (monogamy, law/justice, spirituality, etc)
So the almost across the board opinion of being child free being this way is seriously messed up.
There's a million ways to contribute to society and there's enough people that will have multiple kids that a chunk of patriots focusing on their communities and on their own personal growth as opposed to children will only better society.
One idea I saw someone say is we need more non parents on school boards. Rational, unbiased minds who only want their communities to thrive could go a long way for improving our schools. Instead we have karens who demand wokeness for their snowflake children and Joneses who care more about their own children getting ahead than everyone else..
It really should be a choice though. My wife and I don't hate the idea of one or two daughters but at the same time we're 100% happy even it never happens. We realize if the vaccine deaths go the way they are feared to, then we'll all need to have multiple children but there's nothing wrong with choosing to not have any and I wish the people on here who are supposed to be EYES OPEN understood that.
You'll have people even on our side that will trash the shit out of people that don't want to live what's considered a "normal" lifestyle. Don't want kids? You're a fucking weirdo and should be shunned.
Yeah, I meant that as a generalization. We talk about normies being sheep, following the trend like fish swimming downstream, but fail to look at ourselves critically, when someone on our side expresses an idea or a conviction that the larger group might not agree with. Like not everybody wants a family, and that's perfectly okay. Not everybody wants a relationship, and that's okay.
Sorry, but having well meaning non parents on a school board might be like someone who has never driven making traffic laws. Or a non drinker trying to help the community.. prohibition style.
I'm sure there is always an exception, but uhh, no thanks in general.
If they can truly be logical and not let a personal agenda push them. Even with parents on board, there are issues. Unfortunately, you are correct that larger societal issued people are messing it up already.
I think there would be a lot of exceptions. I don't want kids, but I have over 32 nieces and nephews and some are now married and having kids of their own. You don't have to be a parent to put a child's needs before your own. Just morality, ethics, empathy, and common sense. This is closest to what I think. If a woman is using it as birth control, give her the option of sterilization.
I don't think forcing any medical procedure is the way to go.
As usual, the abortion issue is pushed forward by many other issues that if resolved would naturally slow abortion.
In surgery I recall a tubal ligation [with the tube ends burned] done on a crack whore who had a third abortion. She had been forced to sign the permit in order to go through with the abortion. She will never do it again....

The problem here isn't the abortions but that your mom was having sex at age 12.

Updoot for yeah, I missed that. However, I think there was some kind of abuse or neglect going on for sure.

Yeah she had my older brother at 17, no incest involved. I can see how I worded it sounds weird kek.
Yeah didnt you pick up on the FACT that was completely not mentioned or insinuated at all?
No incest involved. Just a troubled and dysfunctional family life. Often times it does anyway.
I'm not into nazi sterilization talk --that's just what the liberal eugenicists want anyway.
That would make a “birth person” think twice! Lol! On the other hand, these “children” having sex were not allowed the “choice” of whether to get the Covid shot or not. I don't see it as punishment, just preventing a second, third, and fourth. Want a child later on you can adopt.

Sterization should come before abortion.
If someone dont want.kids. Dont have them.....ever.
The doctor's personal views shouldn't decide for them whether they'll perform a sterilization or not.
We all have the right to change our mind ...no one herecis talking about the male being sterilised and lots of woman forced into abortion by the male
If someone dont want kids they should elimimate the possibility of that, not making it passe to kill.the baby as an afterthough.
Sure.some dont like the sound of it, but really whats worse.
Killing the unborn, or making it not possible.
How? Im not advocating forced sterilization. Im saying if they dont want kids thats an option that would eliminate killing the unborn.
I still see that as a better option than someone who knows they dont want to raise a child, or have another child repeatedly getting abortions.
Not saying its the best option or preferred. But better than killing the unborn.
Unfortunately, it sometimes does.
Unfortunate for the teenage girls who are only being told to do so by their parents & don't fully understand what's happening to them or how it's going to be detrimental to their existence 30 years later.

Great comment!
Abortion being treated as repetitious avenue of birth control by a pregnant woman on welfare, should result in sterilization. IMO.
This is closest to what I think. If a woman is using it as birth control, give her the option of sterilization. I don't think forcing any medical procedure is the way to go. As usual, the abortion issue is pushed forward by many other issues that if resolved would naturally slow abortion.

Abort the mother; not the baby.
I say leave it legal to perform but it comes with a murder conviction.
Not for the men?
Only if he is the Dr.
I notice it's a man saying this? And Nevis talking sterilisation for the woman...not him. Typical hypocrite....always the woman...someone here. A man ..labelling them whores....it escapes these so called men it needs an irresponsible bloke too to make a baby
See Metal that matters in this thread for that end of the pregnancy.
Absolutely. Or any kind of birth control.
Now you're using your noggin'!
Never thought about this. Very good!!!
So should people on government assistance.
