Heh.. was about to comment the same thing. You'd think that a country where the average degree level is higher would be smarter, but I guess not. I have another theory that communities that do a better job communicating experiences by mouth would thrive better than countries that are heavily relying on social media (and thus, influenced by censorship and liberal bias)

This is when the elite drink too much of their own Kool-Aid. Sub-saharan Africa is a place where nearly everyone has high vitamin D levels (lots of sunshine) and everyone uses hydroxychloroquine as a treatment against malaria. As a result, there is low incidence, the populace mistrusts Western vaccines (Bill Gates is cursed), and there are plenty of home-made treatments that seem to work just fine. Not to mention the fact that anti-Covid vaccines are frequently intercepted by corrupt officials for sale on the black market for preferred customers.
