I was "live and let live, just don't push your views on me." But they just would not take "yes" for an answer. They just would not stop with their stupid push to demand that I agree with them and enable their delusional views.
Now, I see that these people are not normal humans. They are monsters. They don't give a damn about you and me. For that reason, and that reason only, I no longer give a damn about them.
If back alley coat hanger abortions become a thing again, that is on THEM. THEY made that happen.
If we remove ALL laws that violate ANY person's right to own a gun -- even the monumentally insane -- I can live with that. THEY made that happen.

I’m a Christian, always thought that transgender and homosexual behavior was a sin, but that it wasn’t the government’s job to ban such lifestyles. Now I’m not so sure, except for the fact that enforcing laws against such practices may lead to too much invasion of privacy.
Their pedophilic behavior is a different matter entirely. Every one of them that has “performed” in LGBT shows for kids should be put on a sex offender list, and every member of the LGBT community should be publicly shamed into repentance or secrecy. I will not “tolerate” this degeneracy any longer.

As a former Liberal (still classical liberal, I suppose), I really feel this. They just took things way, WAY too far. I wish we were in a healthier state in America where we could debate the finer political issues intelligently. Instead, the Far Left wants to just throw it all out and start over, claiming that any opponents are part of a racist system that oppresses everyone that isn't white.

I think you will find a lot of conservatives are more libertarian than anything - they strongly support the Constitution, but also support people's rights to live as they want as long as it doesn't hurt others. Live and let live. We are way past that.

Interdasting, as I have always been a live and let live conservative, even as a child, as long as that involved no harm to/intrusions on others. As a Republican, I voted for, supported GEOTUS (you had to be in a coma NOT to know that this man was different, he loved, and still loves this country) and CLEARLY wanted to (and did) deliver his promises to America. In 2008 I voted for McStain (I did not know at that time, that there was no choice better than the other). In 2012, I didn’t vote in the prez election, as I knew Romney was no better. Shortly thereafter, I left the Republican Party and registered as an independent. No more of my money has gone to the Republican Party since...~2008, although I have supported some Republican candidates...GEOTUS being likely the only worthy of that support.
Today we still have a huge problem in that party...the RINOS and NeverTrumpers still infest our government and the party. It needs a deep flush...a bleach enema...I trust that GEOTUS with his band of merry men, we, the people can together accomplish that, and leave a brighter world for our children and grandchildren.
Get involved locally, be a PC. Help us do the flushing.

I accidentally used the men's room at Walmart once in all fairness I was over tired. I was very surprised to find urinals in the ladies room.
That sucks, mine was because like I said I was overtired we were running out of town for doctors appointments for my grandbaby and did some shopping at Walmart. In all fairness the doors are open and the entrances are right by each other. The male cashier and my daughter were both laughing when I got back.
Sometimes I just get so absent minded I end up doing goofy assed things lol.

I see it every day with my compatriots. We just wanted to live and let live. To get along. Most of the people I respect, know, and love have some libertarian leanings, and deep down we really kind of believe (to steal a phrase from Gardnerian Wicca) that "Harm None" should be the whole of the law. You do you, don't tread on me and I won't tread on you.
We really tried.
Get a group of truly random people together, and guess who usually causes contention? It's not the christian, or the atheist, or muslim, or conservative, or the scientist, or even the lawyer (they'll debate all day though, lol). No, it's the liberal that tries to force everyone to see things their way. The liberal causes the arguments, contention, and fights. They try to manage how everyone sound think and act. If you're not Kumbaya-ing with them they go into full ragemode and try to blame you and everyone else for their problems.
It seems to me that normal people from all walks of life have become tired of being doormats for the liberals. We normal folk are exhausted from hearing them preach about toxicity (masculine or otherwise), privilege (white, male, or otherwise), gender (male, female or otherwise), oppression (patriarchal, government or otherwise), health (veganism, vaccines, etc)... And I could go on - as could anyone else on this board.
We're done. We've been done for a while. Many of us are already fighting back in one way or another. We aren't taking it anymore.

And when we inevitably deliver the coup de grâce, we keep the suffering of our enemies to a minimum, even if suffering is deserved. But we don't do it for them. We do it for us. We do what is necessary. The tears are for what could have been, and those we lost along the way.

This might sound odd, but there was this story I loved as a kid called "The Fisherman's Wife," about a poor fisherman who catches a magical fish and spares its life. He is given a wish and asks for something modest which is granted, but his wife keeps pushing him to ask for more and more. Finally, the fish gets fed up and says, "Go back to your hovel," revoking all the wishes.
I feel like I'm at that point with libs wanting concessions. They've just pushed too far.
