Think about how much explosives they would have had to use to demolish that huge slab of rock. Also, what was written on the stone that got destroyed? They could have chosen any of the other two slabs to destroy. Did they choose randomly?
There were 4 slabs totals. They all had the same message, just in different languages. I'm unsure which langs were destroyed. English remained after the explosion. But now the whole Monument has been leveled to the ground. Hopefully they don't take this opportunity to build it stronger.
