Spez: 1PM mom just got an epidural, she’s almost fully dilated and most likely he’ll be coming in the next couple of hours. Thanks again for love and support, pedes. Ya’ll are the greatest of the internet.

Thanks frens for all your thoughts and prayers. The advice and stories have made us both feel 100 times better.
She was admitted to a hospital with a level 3 NICU. They were able to hold off her labor for a few days, but regardless as of this morning at 4:30, she’s 6cm dilated and could give birth any time.
We wish he had more time, but our doctors are very optimistic about his survival. If he does survive, he will likely spend the next few months in the NICU.
Spirits are high. God is watching over my family… I know it. Please continue to send prayers. Thank you all. 🙏♥️
Prayers fren, my daughter was born very early, 30 weeks, and is doing fine now. Have faith.
Prayers for you and family!
I was born premie at 4lbs 5 oz, and that was in 1958. Care has improved tremendously. God bless your baby with health.
I was a premie also in ‘68 at 5 lbs. My son almost decided to come at 7 months, I dilated, and had more labor episodes where I kept dilating, but the boy ended up being 10 days later than his due date. My youngest the same thing, except she was born on her due date. The thing is with both of them the doctors would have let me give birth at 7 months because the babies can survive outside the womb.
Praying for Mind the Attitudes baby to come into this world a healthy and strong.
Thanks for the update, will continue in prayer. stay strong, may the Lord's peace be upon you.
Stay strong brother. With God anything is possible.
We are here for you regardless of the outcome.
I pray for your little one and your wife, total healing, good health and strength and protection in Jesus name! Ive got a 28 weeker and 32 weeker. Both are fine, both also had near fatal condition that required the early birth, totally healed, no sign of anything remains. Both were even fully breastfed, despite low supply and nicu stays. What is impossible with man IS POSSIBLE with God. 100%. One came home on O2 bc the vent was damaging--we weaned her off quickly. And she has the strongest lungs now, at 4 y/o and says 'thats bc THE LORD healed my lungs' , and its actually true. So even if later you face this, dont worry, but pray and believe.
Its scary and long nicu stays are not easy but keep God first in your mind over your situ, stand in your faith that He WILL do it-He will get your thru it with miracles along the way. And you will be on the other side before you know it. God is with you both and your precious baby. 🙏✝️
Im praying, like Im sure many others here are.
I pray you have a healthy baby and wife. Please remember there will be ups and downs due to his early gestational age. Please continue to keep us informed, when you are able. God will be watching over your little one, your wife and yourself.
May the Lords Spirit rest upon all of you, Amen
Update: mom just got an epidural, she’s almost fully dilated and most likely he’ll be coming in the next couple of hours. Thanks again for love and support, pedes. Ya’ll are the greatest of the internet.
Thank you for the updates. Hope all is well. We are still praying for you and yours! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Dear Lord be with this Mother & Son as they go through labor & delivery and bring them safely though it. Thank you for the years of training & skill you have already given the medical personnel in charge of helping them today and in the days ahead. Bless the Dr’s & nurses with wisdom & discernment for all who are in their care. Strengthen this family & all who care for them with your presence, draw them to your promise of salvation through Christ Jesus, & fill them with your Spirit. I ask this in Jesus’ Holy name, Amen.
He will do great! Those extra days she’s been able to keep him in make all the difference! The survival odds are stacked heavily on his side, and all will be well. My prayers continue, fren. A cousin of mine had a baby with intrauterine growth restriction at 30 weeks, but he was the size of a 25 weeker. Luca is now almost 4, and a perfectly normal boy!
I hope all goes well for your family!
Praying for you.
Praying that you and your wife will be at peace, and that your little boy will be safe and healthy.
Thank you Mind.
A prayer and a blessing on the birth.
Done and done, anon. All the best to you and your family.
Prayers to you and yours. Bless the little guy.
Prayers for you all!

Praying for you all fren. Especially your little Patriot. May God hold you all in the palm of his hands.
Praying
I was thinking of you yesterday hoping for an update. So many of us sending prayers your way.
Stay faithful and in the Word brother. He strengthens us. Much love to you and yours and prayers for your family. Teach your child, who is a blessing from God, the Word and to walk in His ways. We all need to do this with our own children.
Dear Lord we lift up this family, known and loved by you. Meet them where they are and supply their every need according to your riches in glory. You are able and we have every confidence that you are willing to heal and minister to this family. "God can make a way, where there seems to be no way". We praise you for who you are and for what you can do through your mighty power. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Amen!
Hopes up fren, I was born almost 3 months early. My grandmother said I fit in her palm I was so small. Keep the hope alive and believe in the doctors. I mean hell I’m 250lbs now.
I had a similar experience with an early birth and NICU stay. Trust doctors but advocate for yourself and your child. Wheel your wife into the NICU to breast feed, every feeding you can make it to. Ask for (demand) that someone from lactation be there to help. Both baby and mom need the support and need to be taught to breast feed. There is no substitute.
I wish you the best. Stick with it. Even if it takes months. It doesn't matter. My child is the greatest gift God could ever give me.
Or if baby doesn’t have a strong enough suck reflex yet, encourage your wife to pump so baby still gets her milk. It’s so important for him, especially since he’s early. My granddaughter wasn’t early but was in NICU for 5 days and they encouraged Mom to both pump and breast feed her. Established a great milk supply for later on and they had a very successful lactation “partnership”, Momma and baby.
Pumping also helps because you can leave your bottles at the NICU for any feedings you miss.
Praying for you, your wife, and your son. The advances in premature births with excellent outcomes have greatly improved over the decades. Your little man is going to be just fine!
Our Lord Jesus Christ is guiding you and helping you and your family. I just need to remind you pray every time you can or talk to our Lord he listens. God be with you and your new baby.
More Prayers!
Prayers for your family, fren. God is watching over you.
God watch over this young family. Guide the doctors and nurses in their care of this baby boy. Amen
Looking forward to an update that all are well!
Prayers up. May mom and baby be just fine. We love all of you. My step dad was born weighing in at 2lbs, 4oz in 1942. His butt fit in a coffee cup. They sent him home where his parents incubated him in the oven! He’s still with us. The only damage suffered was to his ears. He’s still with us today. Just turned 80 in March. The power of God blows me away.
Amen! My husband was an Rh baby back in the early 50s. Only 5lbs something at birth. They transfused him but still didn’t think he’d survive. But the nuns in the Catholic NICU (whatever they called it back then) refused to give up on him. The family wasn’t Catholic but those nuns baptized him anyway and prayed him through it. The transfusions wrecked his hearing as well, but he’s alive and well 67 years later - and finally has some great hearing aids that have changed his life! God is good!
