I know the government has been hiding technology from us, but I doubt we're at the level of cloning a human. At that, how would the age be set? The body itself could be 3 years old, having gone through a very rapid aging process, or maybe coming out of a vat at the target age. Then you'd need to set the mind just right with the same memories.

There's more to it than just his earlobes. You're correct about the facial surgery, specifically a facelift. I've seen surgeons remove a good part of the lobe during a facelift, and when healed, it looks like an attached earlobe. I still think it's not the same guy though.
