Maybe my bias coming through, but I didn't read it like "(your desire for) instant gratification is...."
Rather, to me, seems like JR is pointing out the divergence point between the path to hell and the path to heaven.
"instant" gratification is the desire to see "X happen NOW". IOW, JR is saying the desire (probably all of us feel at some point) to "see this get done now" is the impulse that leads us away from our objectives, from God's way. It takes discipline and spiritual ooomf to forestall and master the inherent impulse for realization of a vision NOW.
That's a really BIG lesson there. Identifying the crossroads, the divergence point, is really key to discerning direction.
And, I don't believe for a second that you've been 'waiting' for years and years, rooftop. :P You've been in the trenches, fighting, even while longing to see the day of reckoning. Waiting is something the observers, the fence-sitters do. Longing to see the realization - that's the heart of a patriot. Different things.
(IMO) JR's not attacking your long-suffering yearnings to see the reckoning take place. He's actually lauding it.

Yeah as I've had tinfoil on my head over half my life, theres been no instant expectation for any of this for most of us. Desire to have it over is natural, only a complacent person would be frivolous about it.
Some of us have been fighting for over 30 years and we dont have any more time to wait.
Nothing we can really do to speed it up unfortunately i think but know this, there are plenty of us who have decades ahead of us who are not giving up on this fight. It's a fight between good and evil and the stakes are way too high to ever give up.

There aren’t enough people awake yet. Life is still too easy for a lot of us. Unfortunately some people aren’t going to wake up until they feel some actual pain. Rich independents are the worst. Their grocery costs double, they ignore it. Taxes double, they ignore it. I’m afraid we’re going to have to go thru a couple hard years to get thru to them.
I know people making somewhat decent incomes but they basically live paycheck to paycheck (high cost of living area and reckless spending) and they still don't seem fazed by anything going on. It's going to take a lot to wake up these idiots
I try not to get bitter about it, but it’s difficult. Most of them can’t help it. They’re just not capable of overcoming their programming yet. I try to be patient and be ready to answer when they start to ask questions. I always try to answer in a calm and friendly way. Even if I don’t succeed with one person, someone else might be listening.

Complete Victory is the only thing that saves humanity now and for future generations. That Victory requires active participation by the People.
Trump says hes got it all. I believe him. Q says we are watching a movie. Movies are scripted, the WHs have already won. These last six years have been about building the final element, the Peoples awareness, their resolve, their vigilance. This is the piece of the puzzle that will ensure future generations benefit from our sacrifices.
That is what matters to me most. It breaks my heart when I think about the dystopian future my grandkids, now 6, 7 and 11, may have to navigate.
So I am patient, waiting for that critical mass of awakened Patriots that will prove the crushing blow on 3000 years of slavery. Its coming, I have no doubt.
