My 42 year old son has mouth and neck stage 4 cancer. We are sitting now in the pre op room. He will be getting it remived from inside of left cheek and remival of neck lymp nodes. Then reconstruction surgery. He will have a feeding tube and trach. About 7 days in hospital, then radiation for 6 weeks 5 days a week. Never vaccinated. Long time smoker.... Was happy that they never once questioned whether or not he was vaccinated!! Maybe somethings are changing... or they weren't making any money when denying surgery to the unvax'ed... Bless him and you all. Be strong. Side note, I went to the ER with my daughter and her 2 yr old last night. Kid running a 103.2 fever that wouldn't break. The usual tests, no "covid", no flu, no strep, no rsv. Just "something" that led to a double ear infection. Anyhow, they asked if she was up to date on her kid shots, mom says, "nnnnnope!" Doc says, "oh, you one of those no- shots ppl?" Mom says, "yyyyep!" And he gave her no static at all. Never pushed, nothing. Went on to do his job. There are some good docs left.

She had the throat surgery and most of her right jaw removed. That was over 20 years ago. She is still living but at the age of 81 she now resides in a Nursing Home. Just a word of hope for you to calm your fears. Our Heavenly Father will not forsake you. He will answer our prayers in the name of Jesus. Amen.

My husband was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2003 (age 58), and surgeon discovered the origin was in the right tonsil! Seven and a half weeks of radiation 5X/WK and seven weeks of concurrent chemo 1X/WK, cured him if the cancer. His throat quickly closed up, so he received a feeding tube for almost 6 mo, and he received nourishment & hydration this way. My husband never smoked nor worked in any hazardous locations; however, he's been a lifelong avid golfer and had a habit of puting the wooden tees and or the ball markers between his teeth. My prayers for all of you, and the doctors too. In 2013 I had a similar cancer, neck and 1 lymph node, stage 3, and fortunately it was treated with radiation and chemo only. So I know a little about what he will be going through, except for the reconstructive surgery. I found the best way to cope with the daily grind of treatments, lying on my back for weeks and weeks, and keeping my sanity in the fog of pain meds was to just keep plodding on, doing then next thing...then the next... and knowing that there was going to be an end to it all. I did recover in time, returned to work, got may taste buds back, my strength back, and life started again. I couldn't swallow, too painful, so I had to get liquids via a feeding tube in my stomach, but eventually that came out and it healed.
Today I eat normally -- mostly -- although I seem to have lost my taste for sweets and dark chocolate, but each person is different. His mileage may vary. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. And I found that I came a little closer to God during that time.
I pray for only the best for your son and your family.
Heavenly Father, please be with our friend and his son today. Please guide the hands of his surgeon and ensure that every bit of cancer is removed from him! I pray that you heal him, Father. Also on a sidenote you should do some research on fenbenzodole. It heals cancer. Just one guy in particular, and I can’t remember his name, but he has a whole story on the Internet and on Facebook, and you can join his page and get all the information. He had stage four cancer and was going to be dying but he use this method, and he’s alive today. Just saying

Started praying as soon as I saw the request. Will keep holding him up. The son of a dear friend lost half his jaw in Iraq saving his bro's. I knew that kid since he was a baby. Didn't know how he would look when I saw him after the surgeries, so I steeled myself to not react if he looked a lot different. I was so relieved to see, after all the reconstruction was complete, that there was only a small scar on the outside of his jaw when they were done. He looked awesome! I mean, he had lost half his jaw! But after the reconstructive surgeries and dental implants, you couldn't even tell. You'd never have known what that kid went through. Praying for the same great outcome for your son. Hang in there! God loves him and He has this!
