Their idea of democracy is crumbling before them. Now they know what it’s like to be attacked and feel oppressed when they were the ones doing it all these years. It’s a large jagged pill to swallow for them, but necessary. Still, the hope is many of them will come to the light (as many have in recent years, even in circles of my colleagues).
