It's tough for people to admit they have been lied to and manipulated their entire life. For those who took out massive loans to spend 10 years getting a doctorate in a liberal art program, the last thing they want to do is admit that they were completely bamboozled into doing so. The excuse is usually always "but that's what everybody else was doing!", and I think there are a lot of people that do not want to have to admit that yes, they are actually a stupid mindless sheep who would walk off a cliff just because others were doing it.

See, if everyone takes the clotshot, then the excuse (i.e. 'everyone') works. Whatever that means of course (who cares about excuses when you have clots).
But if you, me, and 20%+ HAVE NOT taken the clotshot, then there is no 'everyone'. So their excuses (to themselves really) fall apart, and THAT is why they lash out/hate/want you to submit to the shot.

The sheep is naive and can't grasp the idea that a higher power would be lying.
