There is only one true living God, and his name is יהוה.
My thinking is Jew is a double meaning word that gets misinterpreted at times. Look up Ashkenazi Jew that is a race of people. Then Jews are also a religion.
There is God then there is idols. Very complicated for some and for me too.
Yet todays climate for me makes it very simple. Anyone who sacrifices children and claim it as a woman’s right is not of the Christian God and could be worshipping Baal (autocorrect even auto capitalizes the B)
This goes for anyone claiming anything of Spirituality to me. That one foundational point to me is huge. Many that are Atheists and will claim choice, but they are Godless so it makes sense they would say such.
This that worship God or an idol will have an opinion and the very intelligent ones that worship idols will act as a atheist.
What is very evident to me is seeing how many people fall for what is obviously not Christianity and they claim they are Christian’s still. If one tries to shed a little light to them and say -hey you know holding hands with the devil and claiming to be a Christian is not a good look- they reply with the inabiiity to discern.
So yes we wrestle with many things in life. when one who is of god says they are divine—they are literally telling you they are not if the Christian God. They may divine to their god and they may be ignorant to their god or they might be very knowingly doing.
This is all part of critical thinking. Jesus said something like -be wise as serpents and ….

I at times can be super spiritual-to me the spiritual side of Christianity is like my favorite types of movies that I do watch. Sci-fi. Sci-fi horror.
I dropped watching news when I was a teenager. I have always seen the news and such as liars. I though lots of others did too but I don’t know any longer.
I would entertain the news at home for the families sake, but I don’t even do that any longer.
We all have different callings and different abilities. Mine is to be content and observe people while I try and take care of my kids and work.
I completely believe in lots of the things in the Bible. Those I know and those I yet to know. I am very happy to see gifted people use their talents and I really want whoever the one (or ones) God chose to raise this cane to part this Red Sea we are at while the enemies army is coming up our rears would be great.
This is a twofold view point. I also believe if we had enough people of God in the USA right now—we would not be at this point. Why? Christians are suppose to meek but that is not being weak ass mask wearing ….. ;)

I am going to see these Chinese dancers early January. To say they are breathtaking is an understatement. I would never bother going to see ballet etc but this is in another league.

A friend's father passed away last night. It wasn't unexpected, his father was in an induced coma. My friend emailed me this morning and is not dealing with this situation well. He lived at home and cared for his father for years. I ask for prayers. Thank you all.

You're a good friend for caring about your friend's anguish over the passing of his father. Perhaps remind him that not only did he likely prolong his dad's life by being close and caring for him, but that they were both blessed to be able to share the last years of his dad's life together. The love they shared is eternal and lives on in your friend's heart.

And, he said it "concluded". While I would tend to disagree, inasmuch as I see conclusions being reached primarily in the mind (spirit) rather than the brain (flesh), for any living human, the interaction between the spirit and the flesh is where the center of consciousness manifests and resides, where we bring together the data coming through our material senses with the data coming through our spiritual senses (ideally).

None. TMAO is death for men, all research from every single source shows the same evidence. My health has improved ten fold since cutting out beef. I eat 8 oz chicken and 4 oz turkey per day, plus salmon up to twice a week.
However, when I did eat beef, my favorite ways are all what would be considered well done. Barbacoa, brisket, fajitas, gyudon, and pot roast. They are still tender like more rare cuts but all the flavor and stomach ease of well done.
I like well done too, it is not a crime. If you like char and texture it is the way to go, plus it will never make you sick. Plenty of people have sensitive stomachs and can't digest rare well. Plus the extra cooking really brings out spices and seasonings. Carne asada is divine and that is well done.
I've always found heat works the best.
