I'm confused. I'd almost go as far as saying "Baffled". I seem to recall CNN discussing this criminal as a potential future DNC Presidential candidate.
There is nothing wrong with, let alone unconstitutional about the IRS. Somebody has to manage federal revenue collection, e.g. taxes (not all are illegal). The actual problems are who is in the IRS, are they doing their actual job, are they doing it within the authority of the law and free from abusive directives by higher executives, and are said tax laws are themselves constitutional?
Abolishing the IRS would be as moronic as abolishing ICE. Both are constitutional and frankly, necessary. But just like the rest of the federal government, the swamp that is the current department needs to be drained and reformed.
The IRS doesn't "fund" the federal government. It is an agency of the Treasury, tasked with tax law enforcement and revenue collection, which prior to the 16th Amendment (one of the worst) was primarily generated from exports and imports.
Your problem, the problem, is with the 16th Amendment, bad tax code, and corrupt/inept civil servants working within the IRS (and countless other areas of the federal government).
Use your brain. Make logically valid arguments. This whole "AboLiSh thE IRS" shtick just makes you sound ignorant.
Right from treasury website
"Where does federal revenue come from? If you lived or worked in the United States in 2022, your tax contributions are likely part of the $4.90 trillion collected in revenue. The federal government also collects revenue from services like admission to national parks and customs duties on foreign imports and exports. This revenue is used to pay for government activities (employee salaries, infrastructure maintenance), as well as to pay for goods and services provided to United States citizens and businesses."
Sure sounds like revenue raised is used to "fund" the buisness of the US to me.
The IRS doesn't fund the federal government. WE fund the federal government.
Semantics aside, YOU called other's moronic for advocating abolishment of IRS.
I guess the founding fathers were morons for throwing tea in the harbor.
IRS -> Collects Taxes from "WE THE PEOPLE" -> Provides "FUNDS" to Treasury, ergo THE IRS THROUGH TAXATION "funds" (AS A VERB) federal government. "WE" are not of our own volition, happily sending the goverment untold taxes, we do so under duress and penalty of prison.
Getting the IRS off our asses, and out of our paychecks sounds good to me. Returning to a pre 16th form of funding seems superior to me. It would result in immediate shrinking of federal goverment.
Sounds like I am arguing with a tax collector of some fashion, who doesn't mind rooting through peoples pockets for the "Good of Society", GTFO out of here with that statist, collectivist bullshit. Your ilk are the reason the USA is currently a steaming pile of shit, making excuses for years of commie group think.
You charge that I'm a tax collector, as if that would somehow be an insult. Meanwhile, your dizzying intellect of mental gymnastics indicates that you're something of an NPC.
So let's play out the hypothetical of abolishing the IRS. Then who collects taxes for the federal government?
Somebody has to manage federal revenue collection...
What our nation really needs is someone to manage federal revenue expenditures! Particularly, the trillions of dollars that end up stolen from tax payer's and in the pockets of grifters all around the globe.
Until we the people can trust that our tax money is not being stolen, the IRS can go to hell for being an accomplice to the international theft of American tax payer dollars.
IRS is also in part responsible for investigating tax evasion and fraud, which so many countless of our politicians, civic leaders and shadowy cabal shitheads commit every day. You want to get rid of the body authorized with going after these criminals?
As for auditing the expenditures, which yes indeed is a massive problem, that would be a combination of both the Chief Executive (through the Treasury) and of the Congress, and then of course, us, the voters, who apparently keep putting these idiots in position of authority and responsibility. Then again, our elections aren't really elections, but they've been set that way by idiots that voters did put in power and allowed them to rig the system... so still ends up with us being to blame, to some degree.
Eliminating the IRS ain't solving a damn thing... Channel your anger in the correct direction.
I really don't care what I "sound like." The fact remains that trillions of American taxpayer dollars are being perpetually stolen by our govt. And that IS lawless behavior; and lawless behavior is basically anarchy.
So let me rephrase my statement: Defund the kleptocratic anarchists disguised as our "lawful" govt.
Stolen, yes. But not by the IRS, which again, doesn't fund the federal government. Your anger is righteous, but misguided. Focus on the correct target(s).
This reminds me of little brian seltzer who considered MA a credible candidate for president. Anybody know what little bs is up to since being fired from cnn?
It's a tweet with simply "buckle up buttercup" and it was posted here wondering what he meant. It seems to me he knew the sentence was coming 4 days ago.
Funny that's a "feel-good" story. A feel good story to me would be all those europeans in the freezing cold getting some relief. Or the hungry here in America being fed. But silly me, why should those things bother the ones who are using people as pawns in the first place?
CPL smells like a “scape goat”; we want to see bigger fish getting caught.

Yes, being a criminal is a prerequisite for all DNC candidates. ;)

Please explain how the federal goverment was funded before the IRS was created...I'll wait...

The US govt. is a kleptocracy. Defund the govt.
Defund the entire federal government? You do realize that now you just sound like a deranged anarchist?

Found the IRS agent ☝
🕵🏻
CNN LEGAL ANALYST MICHAEL AVENATTI.
Never forget, he was their golden boy for at least a year. What great judges of character.
Easier to control criminals.
Anyone know what "Bif" means? Is he talking to Trump?
Yes, comparing Trump to Bif in the Back to the Future movies.
Thank you. I thought it was an acronym🤪.
Yes, as in Bif from Back to the Future movies
We should all mail him a copy of the art of the deal.
He could trade them for cigarettes and we will win the ex-con vote.
This reminds me of little brian seltzer who considered MA a credible candidate for president. Anybody know what little bs is up to since being fired from cnn?
Ha, I remember when Reddit was touting him as the next president after Trump.
Il Donaldo Trumpo.had this tweet 4 days ago.🤔😲😏 https://greatawakening.win/p/16ZX7xbqfG/i-wonder-what-this-means--buckle/c/
It's a tweet with simply "buckle up buttercup" and it was posted here wondering what he meant. It seems to me he knew the sentence was coming 4 days ago.
I came in here to mention the same thing. I agree, IL Donaldo knew this was coming. Is this a hint that IL Donaldo is Donald Trump? I think maybe.
This is what happens when you enter an ongoing game and go straight for the King. Clown was an nobody.
Funny that's a "feel-good" story. A feel good story to me would be all those europeans in the freezing cold getting some relief. Or the hungry here in America being fed. But silly me, why should those things bother the ones who are using people as pawns in the first place?
Buckle up Buttercup
I lost trust in trump jr when he recently told R congressmen to support McCarthy.
