God bless El Jefe and servant. May your health be strong..
Amen.
I get it, I happened to rescue a Maine Coon kitten literally a week before the scamdemic hit the propaganda channels hard, tail end of 2019.
I don't know what I would do without her. The innocence and love that comes from her shows me there is still purity in this world.
I was never a cat guy, and it's a bit of a contradiction because I am an outdoorsman that hunts and fish my food, so when people in my inner circle see me melt with her it's kind of funny because of assumptions made about me.
Someday my heart will be ripped out when shes gone and it haunts me. Already wish I never knew her in a weird way. I love that cat like Ive never loved anything else. It senses when I am upset or stressed and gets in my lap or on my back when I sleep. Inseparable. These past few years her presence got me through a lot. Even cleaned up my diet and quit drinking during clown world. She remained consistent.
I do not have children, and cant even imagine how much heavier those feelings will be for my kids.
Anyway, I will pray for you and the big guy. I wish both of you the best.
FC, I get you more than most. I still squirt tears for my Izzy (Isabel). My dogs too... but Iz somehow knew from when she was a kitten that she was mine, me hers?
I sometimes still hear & feel her contented purrs when I lay awake at night. God I miss that, especially now that I'm living all alone for the first time in 36 yrs. :)
Miss my Izzy, prayers for El Jefe
Prayers for El Jefe and his staff.
Mine are both 16.5. Any little wobble in their health and I'm a basket case. Saying prayers.
Prayers from Missouri!
Prayers going up from the Sunshine State.
Me and my furry handlers sending prayers for both of you. >^β’β’^<
Holy Father in Jesus, the great physician, I ask you to bring comfort to this beloved pet, El Jefe, that he may have his life in your loving hands, and that you bring comfort and hope to his faithful steward. Your creations are beautiful, and we thank you for the time you have given us, your servants, to delight and enjoy them. Spare him from pain, restore him from disease, and help his owner as as she tends to him with Love. I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen
Not the op, but thank you for this prayer. It made me cry... I needed it for 2 of my kitties (19 & 20 yrs old)
What a cute puss !
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
So cute. I hope he pulls through his health crisis or whatever else he is suffering from: loss of a loved one, sadness, trauma, etc.
Heβs the best. He is 15 now, and is declining. Poor thing. Thank you ππ»
So sorry. He looks younger. I have no cats to live until 20. Maybe he needs a dose of fenbendazole and ivermectin.
Oh, that's right -- I almost forgot.
I put a drop or two of liquid ivermectin in my cat's water from time to time. That seems to help, too.
Thats an old picture. He is 15 now
Lolβ¦down votedβ¦ok then π€£
My kitty is a little older and almost died last year.
She went to kitty hospital.
Now I feed her freeze-dried raw food, only RO or spring water, and she's doing great.
Could something like that help your bundle of fur?
I canβt take him to the vet, unfortunately π
π©I apologise if I missed it, but what is the reason you can't take El Jefe to the vet?
Do you need financial help to get him there? Please let us know bc if there's a chance he just needs some veterinary help, it would be awful to lose him 'unnecessarily'.
Also, my Family & our 9 rescue cats have you & El Jefe in our prayers.

Yeah, itβs a financial thing ππ But he is already 15 & has a heart murmur. He has been rapidly declining just this weekβ¦canβt walk. Iβve noticed his sight & hearing has been going the last few months. He had a stroke a few years ago. I think itβs his time. This sucks π’
Declining how? Mine's 17 years old and has a multitude of issues.
Prayers. I am an animal person and know the pain of decline and loss.. Not to take away from it but I want to use him in a meme so bad. I won't. Respect to you fren.
Lolβ¦go for it. He has the best face, i should have made him an instagram star a while ago πβ€οΈ
Keks! He could be famous!
Bless El Jefe I don't know how I would've gotten through all of this shit without my orange kitties. They're true friends. Prayers for your buddy!
Aww praying for you and El Jefe may God heal you both and comfort you.
I prayed for a few more years with your best fren.β€οΈ
El jefe looks awesome!
My cat lived well north of 18 years and just passed away a few months ago. For the last six years of her life she had to cope with her hyperthyroidism and her daily dosing of meds to keep things under control. She did well throughout, though, but during her last year she went deaf and started to lose her sight, and it was very humbling to see this once mighty cat shrink from her peak weight of 15 to around 8 pounds. In a way her deafness was a blessing, as sheβd spend hours and hours during the day in the deepest of sleeps. Funnily enough there were a few times when we had thought she had passed, as sheβd be completely still and no amount of prodding or picking her up would wake her until sheβd suddenly pop out of her slumber, which would scare the sh*t out of us before weβd erupt in laughter.
In her last few days it was very apparent that she was going to be leaving us soon. She stopped eating and drinking and could only take a few steps before needing to rest. I was keeping a close eye on her and on her last day I suddenly woke up at four in the morning and after frantically searching the house I found her sprawled outside behind some deck furniture. She was still alive but could no longer move so I picked her up, placed her on the patio couch, lit the fire pit, and sat next to her. We hung out together throughout the morning and early afternoon, as I wanted to give her a natural death, and as the day wore on she fell into a coma and her breathing became shallower and shallower. Unfortunately, though, even though she was no longer conscious, she fell into periodic seizures and convulsions and worried that she might be in pain, we rushed her to our Vet and he helped to carry her over to the next life.
RIP, Baby. We miss you. Every once in a while, out of the corner of my eye, I can still see you walking around the house.
Prayers up for both of you! El Jefe is quite the looker! God bless you both!
We have three cats and a dog. If any of us get sick, all 4 come to lay with us. We will certainly do the same when they get old. God bless El Jefe π
I hope your furry friend gets better.
Such pretty eyes! Our little fuzzy frens really are the best.
Lord Bless and heal El Jefe who looks like a doll faced Persian we used to have. And take care of his human, too
Thanks you guys. β€οΈππ»
Hope he and you gets better soon. Prayers from the South for sure. My Dixie Lee(11yo Rat Terrier) was diagnosed with an enlarged heart two weeks ago. She's on heart meds and fluid pill to clear her lungs. She's doing better on meds. Acting like a puppy again. But she only has short bursts on puppies, then She's gotta rest a while. Hoping she will hang in there for a while longer. I love her so much
Oh boy. Be strong, pets are good friends but do not live long.
God bless you both π
