You have to "import" it within MetaMask. Click "NFTs" and then click "Import NFTs".
Your email should have included a link to opensea.io like this:

That is my NFT. Using my URL as an example (obviously substitute my values for your values).
The part of the URL that is 0x24A11e702CD90f034Ea44FaF1e180C0C654AC5d9 is the "Address" that you will enter into MetaMask.
The part of the URL that is 19195 is the "ID" that you will enter into MetaMask.

NFTs are stored on the Ethernet blockchain. Each one is a unique entry. So while you may copy paste the image, you cannot copy/paste the original.
