My guess is SCOTUS accepted to hear the Bruson case bc the house moved forward with selecting a speaker. That or congress is lazy and didnt want to give up their weekend.
I'd say we are way past the "the military is gonna swoop in and arrest everyone" phase. The Plan is not what we thought it was, for important reasons.

They released an order on Friday already. I suspect that the denial was done and will be notified in the order to be released on Monday. If ti was such a big, hi-falootin' case and big deal, they would have notified in a miscellaneous order on Friday, like they did with the other case.

I agree. There is no way SCOTUS is going throw out a Gov or a President or anything of that magnitude even if the law states that it should. There will be a civil war if they did that and we all know how they left immediately look to threaten violence. How did Schiff ever get away with what he said after the Roe v Wade case. They were obvious threats to the Supreme Court judges and he should have been arrested and charged. If that simple action didn’t happen, then nothing major will come off the Brunson case, no matter how strong the legal argument
