I was thinking about the push for electric cars, and the increasing stories of batteries, exploding and highway fires, that took thousands of gallons of water to put out.
I can’t imagine filling garages full of these electric cars and having inferior batteries explode. (Can you imagine the recall on these batteries when hundreds have exploded in family homes?)
Not only destroying the car and the family home, but the lives inside. And if they burn to such the high temperature, will it lead to neighbors fires as well?
I’ll stick with my gasoline!
All well observed but the fundamental point is that they can be remotely switched off if you attempt to travel 'out of bounds'.
And your smart meter will one day refuse to charge your electric car if the government says so for one reason or another.
Im ready to ride horseback. Have to learn. But im sure someone wouldnt mind teaching
Horses pollute the air, just like cows and chickens and....anything else they don't like. learn to ride a gila monster.
Lol. Then gila monster it is.
Do they taste like chicken?
You still think there will be free flow of petrol if this happens?
No, but it's easier to move on the black market than electricity, and the authorities can't easily take the tank full in your vehicle.
Lots of people here in the US, own their own oil wells on their property. If the shit hits the fan, gasoline is not difficult to make.
You mean lots of people have private refineries, that’s awesome and unheard of here in Europe.
Solarpanels and batteries however.
Edit: just made a search, looks like the cost of a small scale refinery exceeds $30 million, not sure how viable that is for normal people?
They don't have them now,but their are old ones back in the woods and such from when their were no laws. They are very simple, like making whiskey. If the feds started messing with supply we,our state would change state laws and make them legal in a heartbeat.
But lots of people own their own mineral rights on their land, and own the well production.
I wonder if they can also be made to explode remotely if you misbehave socially.
Ask Brian Kemp's daughter's boyfriend.
Oh no you can't, because they blew him up in his car when Kemp looked like he was going to yield to election fraud investigation.
Here in South Wales there is now a 'vehicle fire' on major roads, causing driving disruption and misery, every day. This did NOT used to happen.
I thought that burned way too hot for a car fire. I read that they thought it was more indicative of thermite.
The engine was found a little distance from the vehicle. That was no ordinary vehicle fire.
Yes, it was a brutal message to shut up and tow the line, or his family would be next>
Maybe they can lock the doors and drive it into a bridge.
They can do that with all vehicles. Hillary worked with Lockheed when Bill was governor to develop the QR11chip ( I think that was the number) that was installed in all vehicles to do just that. I think that was why Obama came up with the cash for cars to get rid of the old ones.
Or across a central reservation into a Republican Senator.
"Jackie? Where's Jackie, is she here?"
😡😡
They can do that to your petrol car as well, no difference.
Lest we forget who has control..,
Drove a Ford Lightning the other day. Very impractical for a truck but DAMN! That thing was fun to drive.
There is no truck (raptor r and trx excluded faster.
Try a Tesla, you’ll change your opinion of electric cars. I had a blown ford 351 and the Tesla would eat it.
straight 6 is fine with me
Mine is a 2006 with 225-hp, 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder. No complaints, but it is not a sports car . . .
OTOH I got over 300K on the Saab 16 value 4 Turbo. Excellent acceleration, fun to drive. Wish I had the skill set to restore it.
900T fabulous car! Still have the original Turbo after 330K miles.
Sounds like a BMW E46 330ci

My friend bought a tandem ebike for over $3600. When she and her husband were out biking, it exploded and sent them and the bike into a deep ditch. She broke her back and had other injuries. Lithium batteries are unsafe!!!!!
Call them battery operated cars. Use battery when talking about them. Also point out that the battery looses 40 to 50 percent power in the cold. Last, their is not enough rare earth's to put cars in houses. This technology tree is a dead end. If they were forever batteries, maybe.but they aren't. It shit. And everyone is trying to switch over. Guess what. It's not working and will never work unless Teslas broadcast power system is used. Batteries are a dead end.
I don’t think so. I’ve been off grid on batteries for over 20 years. Cheaper than mains power. I have an electric bike and it’s great. Petrol is flammable but relatively safe. Car batteries don’t often explode and neither do petrol cars.
Their is not enough material for battery bikes, cars, and homes for millions and millions of people. I have seen and read results of battery power in the cars loosing almost half of the batteries power due to the cold. It's not going to work on a massive commercial level. It's just not. Flooding a battery car causes the battery to short out and burn down. Look it up. Respectfully, it won't work.
From a safety point of view, I would rather go with liquid hydrogen fuel.

2/24/22 - A cargo ship carrying 4,000 luxury cars sinks near Portugal after burning for weeks.
The ship was carrying an estimated $401m (£295m) worth of cars, including Porsche, Audi, Bentley and Lamborghini models, has sunk nearly two weeks in the Azores after a fire broke out onboard. The ship can carry 4,000 vehicles.
The Felicity Ace sank on Tuesday about 400 kilometers (250 miles) off Portugal’s Azores Islands as it was being towed. A salvage team had put out the fire which had burned for days, fueled by lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles onboard. The men onboard were saved by a rescue team from Portugal.
Authorities fear that thousands of tons of fuel carried onboard could leak and pollute the ocean

Imagine if gasoline was flammable and gas powered cars had computers in them. Glad we don’t live in that world.
Imagine being trapped in a packed underground parking garage and those battery fires stary daisy chaining off each other.
Like the CBDC, EVs are all about control.
And you just know as they push this they have to make the cars cheaper so they will cut corners which will make it more likely something will happen.
Fires, you mean like the California Camp fires that burned houses hottest at the smart meters and didn't touch the trees?
Yes! Lol
When thousands of gallons of water are used to put extreme heat … yeah it’s a shitshow..
I don’t believe the smart meters had anything to do with that. But space or plane mounted lasers sure did.
I've seen some of those vids, too, that showed the beams. But there was video afterwards, drone and individuals returning to their homes and owned rental properties, that clearly showed outward spread sourced at the meters. Some of them settled out of court with the power company over their responsibility for the fires or the damage. So I believe multiple sources, the meters in some areas, the beams in some areas, and plain old-fashioned arson in yet others. Overall, amazingly close overlap to the proposed rail project...
