Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an intergral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on it's evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way

Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I have a ok memory. I still boycott, cokacola and coke products, the NFL, NBA, woke businesses like bed bath and beyond, target, and a couple more I can't remember right now. Niki, CNN and most of the right wing news like newsmax for walking out on Mike lindell and fox bc they too are bought and paid for.I don't even eat out anymore especially places that have needle drop off in the bathrooms . I call it keeping the faith, anyone else?
I am with you. I work too hard for my money to support the communist. They may not miss my little bit of cash, but it feels good knowing I’m not giving it to them. 👍
Which libtard celebrity do you hate yourself for crushing on?
I’ve never been star struck. I could give less than two hoots about any of them. 🤗
Lost tons of respect for Bruce .Springsteen, willy nelson, James Taylor, Sheryl crow. Liberals detached from reality is all they are.they portray that down to earth being that they profit from, but are really grifters
Y'all ever think about the scale of our place in this thing?
How much influence does GAW actually have in the Great Awakening? How many other places on the internet have a similar degree of influence? Could a few hundred patriots scattered around the world really change the way history unfolds?
I've wondered this myself as I went from the chans to reddit to voat and then here. Just a few anons spread out across the globe...now we've exploded exponentially!
Nearly every podcast contains information I have read here already. It is a deep well.
Red-pilling comes at a price. Last time I got my haircut I spoke about my son-i-l dying and warned about boosters. My hairdresser defended the covid narrative so I let it go. Tried to get another appointment today - fully booked 'till May. Hm. Ah well.
Let it grow, let it grow 😊
Yep, remember that accepting covid vaccine is bad automatically implies assuming you yourself are in grave danger. This is why so many people go in to denial. Its not rational, but its human nature. Best not to push it too much on someone in denial - you did it right.
Find someone new & keep trying to save lives patriot!
Incredibly hard to do - good hairdressers are few and far between.
I'm sorry...but you did the right thing!
I was just watching a sermon by a pastor at Calvary Chapel Tri-City in Arizona, we used to go to this church when my daughter was little. So I like to watch the video sometimes.
He was up there, talking, then he started coughing.
He said… I’m not sick, I just have a cough that was sent here from China on that balloon. Lol.
I love that my pastor has a sense of humor.
It's now estimated that 17,000 dead in Turkey 😭
Can't imagine the chaos there right now.
Frustrating !
My pastor said that the earthquake in Türkiye has the largest amount of deaths in one earthquake. I don’t know if it’s true, but he was referring to end times stuff.
Banda Aceh, Indonesia lost about 60,000 in the 2008 tsunami. Japan lost tens of thousands in the tsunami of 2011. Japan had a good recovery system by clearing ground outside of the cities for staging and organizing materials and people throughout the demolition and rebuild. Psychologically it takes more time. Good psychologists can probably introduce a philosophy of acceptance, honoring what was, and recovery that helps people to carry on.
Found some statistics.
1556 Shaanxi 830,000
1976 Tangshan 255,000
856 Qumis 200,000
1920 Ningxia 200,000
1923 Kanto 143,000
There was more, but I stopped at the top five.
Yes, anytime that there is a tsunami, there’s definitely more people that die
My brother has lived in Japan for 30 years, and he was there when the earthquakes and tsunami hit on March 11 2011
The Japanese people are quite resilient, and always worked together for the betterment of their country and their culture. People found bags and boxes of money, cash that is, and returned it to police departments to make sure people got their money back. Back in the day, that’s how Japan handled their finances. There would be an old woman walking to the bank, with the paper bag, to pay their mortgages.
I’ve been there several times. It’s a wonderful country.
I’ll have to look into some history regarding earthquakes without tsunami’s called me to see what the highest death toll was.
Unimaginable loss of life, I am thinking of end times stuff too, stay awake! Be ready to greet the Lord is all we can do.
Agreed! I’m on my way to a women’s Bible study. Guess what books were studying right now. Revelation. Lol. And this is not your tea and crumpets Bible study. These women are lit. They really get down into God’s word. Most of them are over 55, and every single one is so far down the rabbit hole. It’s amazing. These women or wide awake.
Wow! Good for you & them! If only we could fire up more young people...
Here is a rant, after reading that the layer feeds are loaded with Glyophosphate (Round Up) , from Tractor Supply and Purina. Herbicides and Pesticides are killing our eco system. Cancers, egg production, pollinators, song birds not having insects, bees dying. There is a practice that mega farms use to harvest soy, they spray the shit out of the plants so that they wilt up and die overnight for easier harvesting. Soy is in everything, you dont have to be a vegan to have it in all animal feeds, as a filler. Bees are needed, period, and not in some Brave New World when they can make robot bees to do pollination in orchards. This Earth is a precious precious place that God gave us to live in, there is no other, and, if there is, it's moot, because we are here now, with such beauty and tiny hearts of birds and animals beating in what could be Paradise, here and now, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Who are the new warriors for the Earth, not Greta, not the Left, but why can't we be? There is no left or right where the Cabal works to destroy the Earth that was given to us with Life, and our Life comes from God the Almighty. Who will speak for the songbirds? Why is it decided that clean air and water free from poison is a Left wing issue? I am a Christian, and God tells me in my prayer life that chemicals and bioweapons are things of Satan. Why do so many GOP people defend huge earth perverting policies?????? I dont care if some adult wants to cut off his weenie and wear lady clothes, but our children are going to be raised in a chemical nightmare, cancer before the age of 50, from what they are putting in food and soil!!!!!!!!! We are stewards, let's start acting as such. While we are distracted with electric cars and drag queens, they are killing the food supply.
100%
More people need to be aware that clean air, water, and food are essential for us to be healthy living. The fact that people in government would rather line their pockets instead of taking care of our home is very telling
you know I managed to raise a son to adulthood without one box of cold breakfast cereal? Its the truth. I guess he wouldn't make the Proud Boy initiation, kek. I think cold leftover pizza is healthier, not that he ate that either until about 12. Bacon, eggs, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit, now that he is an adult, it paid off, the man can cook!
Lol @ Proud Boys Initiation
You are SO on point about everything! MANY people are awake and warriors for clean air, soil & food. Eat & grow organic, keep bees, dig wells and encourage your family & neighbors to do the same.
We have a based new neighbor that moved in. They own a farm somewhere in the Midwest, and have this home because they’re snowbirds.
They removed two trees from their front yard, and are kicking ass at remodeling the front of their house. This man is hard-working, and doesn’t mess around. He has a couple friends that live in the area as well, and they help him. I meandered over to their house, and asked if they would help me remove a tree in my backyard. They said they would mull it over.
Yesterday, while I was pet sitting, my mom contacted me and told me that they were removing the tree. Within a few hours it was gone, and when I came home, I cried a little bit because my tree was gone, but it was necessary. We offered to pay some money, but they wouldn’t even take money for gas.
I just wanted people to know here, that there are really good people out there in the world that will help one another. They came in, did the job, never complained, and didn’t even ask for one penny to do it. These are God-fearing, American, loving, farmers. Hard-working folks.
I am so grateful for their kindness, and willingness to help her neighbor. We offered to pay the money, but they wouldn’t take it. Just good people. They still exist.
You are very fortunate to have a neighbor like that. We have two lazy individuals on either side of us 🙄 Wish we could get out of neighborhood and get a nice property with no neighbors that are close, at least a few acres. Wouldn't mind getting some chickens but the freaking neighborhood crap.
Well, we live in a 55 and over neighborhood, and some of the people here are snowbirds. In general, they are the boomers that everybody bitches about. You know the ones… Hard-working, love their family, love America, go to church, will help neighbors for free, basically all-around great people. But muh. Boomers!
That boomer across the street from me just removed a huge tree for free. Didn’t ask for gas, and didn’t even ask for a fee to take it to the dump. We offered, but they just did it because they’re good people. I am so grateful. They’re gonna be here for another month, and asked if we need anything else done. They just keep giving.
I tried to stop by to say hi, and ask if there’s anything I could do for them. I am a baker, I want to make them their favorite dessert! Whatever cookies that are favorites, I’m making.
Um... what state do you live in? If you are close to me then maybe I could ask them to help me with one last tree in our yard.
Just kidding, lol.
After the last hurricanes we had hit us, we took down two (one large & one med sized) in our front yard since the big was leaning a little. Not cheap, but worth it. But we have one more big tree in the corner of our backyard that will cost us well over a thousand to take down. We should call the guy we know that took our other trees down and see how much it will be now, before the leaves grow back. We want to plant some fruit trees on that side of the yard, and if we are going to take it down then now's the time if it's not too expensive.
Neighbor on one side of us has a big tree in front of his house, almost on the line of our property. Well, that tree had caused damage to our house (gutters had to be replaced, not cheap) because huge limbs broke off and hit our house during those hurricanes we had. That was before neighbor bought the house, but he knew about the incident when he bought the house. He told my husband he would cut it down (he's been living there for about a year now). When we had ours taken down, we asked him if he wanted the crew to cut his down. He said no he would take it down himself. Do you think he's taken it down or maintained it... nope! Not only that but he decided it was a good idea to add two more freaking trees to his front yard. Idiot! He doesn't even like mowing his yard. We are in the freaking south, you have to mow your yard like twice a week in the summer. The front of his home is a disaster, stuff everywhere in his driveway and the blinds are all messed up and can see a bit inside from the road and it looks like the rooms are piled with stuff, and the front steps are mostly black from mold, not to mention the backyard.
And the neighbor on the other side of us, is a complete lazy idiot, lord I'm sorry but I just can't even tolerate him. His oldest son isn't too bad, but the daughter will end up in jail for murder one day, mark my words. His new wife sounds like a child, and their toddler is like a bubble baby, never sees the light of day except while he's standing in his window staring out at us. He has damaged his blinds because he use to stand on the windowsill behind his blinds. So, parents just pulled the blinds all the way up and left them there, no curtains or blinds to cover his window. The neighbor never has cut his lawn, he has made his older kids do yard work since they were in elementary school, they are now in middle & high school.
Good gracious why did we end up with two lazy individuals on either side of us?
If your neighbors don't tell you their favorite dessert, then just make them something you think they may like, something that pretty much everyone likes, like cookies, pastries or even an apple pie. Yum, making myself hungry over here, lol.
I really loved your story. Very detailed about your idiot neighbors. Lol.
We’re thinking about planting a fruit tree as well. Fun fact; did you know that you can buy a citrus tree that has three different fruits on it? Well, you can, and we’re going to get one that has lemons, limes, and oranges. It’s just the two of us, me and my mom, so we don’t need that much fruit. Whatever’s left over we can share with the great neighbors.
Valentine’s Day is coming up, so I think I’m going to make some heart shaped press, cookies, and another heart shaped cookie that I make that has strawberry jam in the middle of it. And then you just sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
I could go on and on about these two idiots on either side of us, but it would take me all day, lol.
Those cookies sound really good! I think that's a good idea with valentine's day coming up, then later if you find what their favorite dessert is you can make it for them.
Answer of the Day:
Seriously, we don't just come here for answers, do we.
I love the way that GAW brings a lot of news to the fore, but I wish there was a heavier emphasis on analysis and deciphering of the "news". We get some really good content but not enough, imo. I sort of wonder how many of our new, incoming anons from the last 2 - 3 years really work the information, instead of just reacting, accepting or responding to it.
On that note, I really enjoyed reading some of the comments by u/sleepydude under his post about DeSantis. Really good stuff. Balanced, applied logic, and (seemed to me) relatively free from emotional biases (which is what I tend to see too much of around GAW these days - could be my focus that does that....).
Anyway, check it out. I like the way this anon's brain works.
https://greatawakening.win/p/16aA4PcFAe/x/c/4Tq14ieABii
By what I've seen, very few users do this in general. You see this a lot with people posting article headlines that say something very different from the content. A lot of people here are terrible at doing their own research, and will accept fragments of information to form opinions on huge issues
I feel you. I consider myself a new anon. Definitely not a digger. More a corelator. Glue guy, soaking up as much of others' analysis as possible and trying to big picture it. The analysis of news has been "less" lately. I think overall burn out is definitely a factor, but on the plus side there's a LOT more habbenings to keep up with. I try to reconcile it with "this is for the normies", because I feel like if we as a community are struggling to keep up with everything, the normies are absolutely being forced to hide deeper and deeper in what little comfortable fantasy remains for them.
Feels like soon. 2024 with the inevitable DeSantis push is going to be very interesting. And hopefully, the true beginning of the end.
I suspect burnout is a factor. I don't have the same vigour with a lot of stories/narratives that pop up these days (but I do have a lot of long-distance stamina, and am pretty comfy as things come and go. The narrative acts, like balloons, well, I just ignore them now and wait and watch the outcomes.)
Also, good point: lots of habbenings.
We do have some really great emergings, tho. For example, I guess Just Human and Burning Bright are sort of new anons (I think, at least, BB is) but their working of the info sphere is absolutely top notch, imo.
For those who missed it, here’s my recipe for keto butter cookies: https://youtu.be/bqCDfbF8nUQ
The cookies were created at the same time my buns were to optimize the oven use.
Cumin was a strange but pleasant experiment. Minced almonds really bring a plus.
Cumin is the best spice. Anyone who disagrees is a Cabal asset.
Overdoing cumin is bad. Cumin is a strong spice and less the better. Also it should be balanced with cilantro and lime for best effects, esp in Mexican cuisine.
Ever tried timur? I now incorporate it in my personal pepper mix. It smells like Heaven should.🥳
First time hearing, will look. I am already assuming you are a Cabal asset, though ;)
It’s okay coming from you, Fren!🤓
Phew 😅 I was expecting a DEW strike to my home!
Not before I have my second coffee mug. How’s the weather, Down Under? Here, in 🇨🇭, it’s freezing but almost bearable in the afternoon. No rain. It smells like coming Spring.🥳

How is everyone doing? I hope you're all well.
Burnt out. 😁
Thanks for asking. Going to try a spiritual regrounding and "ignore everyone else's needs" for a bit.
That sounds like a good idea.
Sounds pretty good. May grace shine on you as you recalibrate.
Doing well! How are you?
Glad to hear it! Much better.
If the DS changed history of events or didn’t portray history correctly, how/where do we find the truth?
There will be two aspects to the truth, an internal one and an external one.
The external aspect is the factual occurrences, those things that took place, by who, when, where, why, and other facts. It may be that we will never be able to fully know or recover those things simply by external means.
The internal aspect is what meaning has been given to any real events, whether known or unknown. In other words, everyone will have a different take on things, and have a different view or understanding of history, based on what they know etc. What is really important, in my opinion, is what God - aka the Creator - thinks about our history and how God views history.
Ultimately, God knows all human history and all history within the universe. That information is stored spiritually, and given the right conditions, we might access that information spiritually, in order to fill out our grasp of the external facts.
Curiously, I was thinking about the question you are asking just this morning. So again, I reiterate: What's important is God's view of history. From God's viewpoint, what is the purpose of history? What is it's destination?
Much of the information about God's view of history is revealed in scripture, but to be frank, most of that information isn't very widely understood, in my opinion. The concepts are fairly simply, but extremely complex in manifestation, and theology for the last 2000 years has been working with limited information, because Jesus was rejected and he had to pay the price to secure salvation, when acceptance of Jesus would have been a completely different ballgame.
Physical copies.
What I’m saying is if you read an encyclopedia from 1940 you could have an entirely different view of the world.
Two ways. One is symbolic decodes. I am sure many WHs are fully conversant in this art, and they can decode all past events to lay out the real history.
Second - the Elites probably have their own library where the store all this info including real history. Would be a piece of cake for WHs to take control of that.
This is what I was thinking. In order to keep true science & history hidden from the world, they must have a record of it all somewhere. They'd also use it for their own nefarious plans.
My governor wants to cut taxes. I'm OK with that.

First in! (What the heck am I doing still up?)
Grouchy because someone in FedEx opened my packages and broke an item, this comes after they plain stole another package (small appliance) that had shipped from a different store.
Happy because tree cutters dropped off a fresh load of chips on their way out today. One step closer to starting "Back to Eden" gardening!
Yeah, USPS got really shitty a few years ago when they got all their funding pulled
