We have tablets and horse paste that we've been saving for a rainy day. Well, my husband and I have both come down with pretty bad head colds and I'm curious about trying ivermectin so I can recuperate over the weekend and be ready for Monday.
Has anyone here ever had a BAD experience with this stuff? Negative reactions or side effects?
It works for me. The only side effect I noticed is that when I'm doing simple math. I count by pawing the ground with my right foot
😄
tread with caution...
the reason ivermectin works is because it itself is highly toxic. your body stops its natural detoxification process, which occurs through the "flu", "cold", or "bronchitis" (not from a contagion... i.e., viruses) to confront this more highly toxic substance to isolate it and remove it from your body. thus, you are preventing your body's natural detoxification process and those toxins causing your "head cold" remain in your body and will eventually cause other ailments and problems.
so yes, ivermectin helps with the dis- ease that you experience from your body's natural detoxification process, but at what potential cost you might ask yourself. more alcohol helps with an alcohol-induced detoxification "hangover" but is that the right answer or are you just putting more fuel on the fire? likewise, greasy food and sugars help a hangover too but again is that good for you?
Agree with you. We need sauce for MrBig's statement. We have taken Ivermectin every Monday for months with zero bad side effects. I also read somewhere, from an obviously liberal person, that taking HCQ will cause blindness. I have taken it for months once or twice a week just because it makes me feel so much better and I am not blind.
Eye doctor here: to get a prescription for regular use of HCQ, PCPs send to me for an initial screening baseline OCT of the macula. If taken at the right mg/kg/day it’s very little risk. 5 years after being on HCQ every single day is when the patients have to start seeing me yearly for the potential of bullseye maculopathy detected on OCT which is blinding and I have only seen once in 4 years.
Good to know. My HCQ is 200mg and I take it only when I feel something coming on. What is great about it is that whenever I do take it I not only start to feel better I start to feel great. The longest I was on it was one a day for about a week. Thank you again for the info.

i had a negative reaction to the paste, just saying, so proceed with caution. i woke up one morning and it took a significant amount of time for my eyes to adjust to the kitchen light while i was making coffee and breakfast. i didn't make the connection then. however the next morning, it took half the day to get my eyesight straightened out. it was almost like someone was sliding the dimmer on the light switch up and down. i was freaking out a bit and realized that i had just started a round of pea-sized paste treatments a couple days before and that was likely the cause. i did some internet digging and saw that was a potential side-effect. i stopped taking the ivermectin immediately and i'm not saying i won't take it again ever but i'd have to be in really bad shape to risk that again. take this for what it's worth, thought you'd appreciate something outside of "group think" you often get on these boards.
I am just now reading thru this and that does sound scary. Thank u for sharing. Good to know what others experience.

I took it every friken day for several months, no problem. (horse paste as per weight scale on the plunger)
I know a person who it cured cancer and put in remission. I took 12 mg for 4 days straight with no ill effects.
Want to do another week in the near future.
i took it daily for like 2 months after being forced to take the kill shot, then twice a week for a while and once a week for rest of year no problems here.

UPSIDE: You can sh!t in public without a care in the world, then flash a quick wink and nod to say "take care of that will ya?"
Exactly! Try that as a human. Impossible. It's never turned out well for me for some reason. And the police always want to get involved. IDk why
That made me laugh!!! Thanks!
Ever! I kek'd
I just took my first dose a little while ago. I'll let you know how it's going tomorrow.
I do suddenly crave a bowl of oats, though...

They had a hard time even finding a deadly dosage when testing on primates, it takes an insane amount.
Don't take too much ivermectin or else it'll make your eyesight blurry all weekend. True story, not being sarcastic. Known side effect.
I’m currently taking the paste for a cold. I’ve been taking it about for 4 days now. I believe it has helped prevent symptoms from turning into a sinus infection. Like catsfive said, I have had some slight blurriness the past few days. Never knew about this side effect before, but can confirm. It’s not too awful, but feels like my glasses are a little clouded.
I've never taken it myself, but to the OP, I'd advise seeing this comment. Multiple friends have taken it to combat cold/flu type stuff. The only adverse reaction they've noted to me is impaired vision for a brief period. They recommended taking at night after a meal before sleep. But I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on TV.
Thanks. I never heard anything about this until now.
Again, not from personal experience but thru word of mouth. All I've heard is that if vision loss is a side effect, take before bed when vision isnt required.

Ya tablets better. Horse paste you ODed on.
Yep. Thats why I prefer 12 mg tablets over horse paste.
I do horse paste version and have a sensitive stomach and I’ve had zero issues. I took it at Christmas for flu and was better in 24 hrs. I take it daily to get rid of parasites. Good luck 👍🏼
Tastes terrible, leaves a film in the mouth.
I try and swallow it as a glob.
However, knocks anything I'm coming down with right out.
If you give it even 24hrs into the sickness it's probably too late.
It's a protease inhibitor, which makes it hard for the virus to replicate.
People don't get sick from viruses, they get sick from the fallout of the virus.
If the virus is already abundant, the damage will be done (though won't be as bad as it would be).
If it is not yet established, it will be wiped out early.
In this way we learn how viruses operate.
Like a fungal body going to spore, or a plant to flower.
This. If I take it at the first inkling of illness, like a scratchy throat or that tired, run-down feeling, it seems to work in a few hours. If I take it when I'm already stuffy or have a fever, it is less effective and needs a couple of doses over a couple of days. Also, take it with food (vs an empty stomach) to avoid the bathroom runs.
try chewing a sandwich, have the paste on yout finger, open mouth and wipe on the food on tongue and swallow, finish sandwich. Ya still taste it but not so bad.
No bad effects! I had a bad flu and was good as new within 48 hours. You need to be generous with your portions though—some people don’t trust themselves and take too little.
I ate a whole tube to prove to my family it was safe. No side effects.
I wish I had some. I'm sick with the same stuff you've got.
They always send me the tubes with that other stuff in it ,, I want just ivermectin,, I’m going to try again
Don't order that. Read the description carefully.
Thank you I will
Thank you , I have lots if pills I live in San Diego do I buy boxes over the border , TJ all the time gave out over a hundred boxes during covid ,, but the horse paste here comes mixed , we don’t have a lot of farm area there are horses but the place I checked had it muxed with that other stuff ,, thank you again
My local Walmart has it in stock!
Thanks friend.
My husband picked up a tube at Tractor Supply. We do have some tablets, although I've been saving them for something more serious. Figured I'd try the paste first since it's easier to get now. Hope you feel better.
I'm going out today to get me some. Picked up some Tylenol Severe Flu and Cold softgels from Walmart yesterday. Went through the self check-out. Before we could get it in the bag a lady came running over and said what did you do. You'd have thought we robbed the store all because of those softgel meds.
Thank you friend.
A nay for a yay I'd say.
200lbs I took a 500lb dose. I saw dead worms. I live in a tent city. Xtra exposure to feces
I've used the paste a few times now. Recently had a few symptoms like the beginning of a bug . I used the paste with a T of vodka and a grapefruit juice chaser. The sickness never materialized.
assple flavor
Worst I have heard is a little queasiness in the gut, passed quickly. I take the tabs tho, got my hand slapped for eating paste too many times I guess.
I’m mildly addicted to it in a joking around kind of sense. Makes me breathe so much better that I take it pretty regularly
I used it topically. I had a pre-cancerous spot called actinic keratosis. Applied 3 times. Gone!
I can take ivermectin with zero issues and I have irtitable bowel syndrome. I cannot take zinc. It hurts my stomach.
I have taken twice with no reactions.
I recently had a bad cold that turned to a cough and was lingering for (in my opinion) too long. Was it a cold? Was it .... Covid? Was it... the flu? I don't know.
1 dose of ivermectin knocked out the chest congestion within an hour. The 2nd dose knocked down the sinus area by half then the majority after the next dose. There was some lingering snot for a few more days after that but I credit iver for turning things more quickly than it otherwise would have.
I recently took Ivermectin tablets recently… generally, I just ride a cold out but I seem to have been experiencing more of a flu like symptoms so both me and my husband took it.
No side effects and it did knock whatever I had out of me in about 3 days. Husband was luckier… he was over his symptoms in a day.
I am currently taking it to reverse the effects of a really bad head cold that hit me like a freight train on Monday. Started taking it Tuesday and today I was able to work without hacking constantly and feel much better. This is the fastest I have ever recovered from a head cold. For me the symptoms usually linger for weeks. I got some horse paste tubes last winter from Tractor Supply and either mash up a banana and mix it with that or eat it with applesauce. There is a rumor that beginning March you will have to have a prescription from a vet to buy the horse paste. Anyone else heard this?
I took ivermectin the first time to help with what I thought at the time was a flu. I unexpectedly got cured of seborrheic dermatitis. I get flare ups occasionally now but after suffering from it 11 years I was overjoyed and I just take more.
Quick comment I was taking quercetin with ivermectin and it was making me feel woosy.....I found out quercetin interacts with it. I started seperating them by 8 hours and no problems.....I was taking ivermectin daily for several months after my forced injecting then tapered to once a week for rest of the year. No problems...My son took it as well as my wife when they were sick, fixed them up reall quick.
There is a far better way to take ivermectin than the paste.
Get the ivomectin cattle injectible. It comes in a syringe bottle. You take 1 CC per 110 pounds of body weight. Draw up in a syringe and squirt is a small amount of juice, and down the hatch. I've never had a problem taking it. Old farmers and ranchers had been doing this for a long time.
I give the same product to my dogs to prevent hearworm. Their dose is 1/10th per 10 pounds body weight. Almost identical to the human dose per pound. Do not give it to Sheltie type dogs. It can kill or severly injure them.
Nope. When you travel to India you must have it with passport. Dr. Says to dos we each day as a preventative ., 3-4 mil. IF you get sick there, take a whole pill, 12 ml a day for two days. It won't be make you sick. Take a whole pill cuz ur sick. Taking vitamin C,D 5000 and Zinc and quercetin?
Thank you. I'm also taking zinc, quercetin, and D.
space the quercetin out from the ivermectin by 8 hours.....they interact, it was making me woozy when I was taking them together. Take vit C also. And NAC if you were vaxed.
Had to travel by plane for the first time in about 8 yrs. To Canada even.
Got a little cold, broke into the horse paste for the first time to kick it before my wife gave me too much grief. Got better in maybe 3 days. Didn’t notice any blurred eyesight.
Didn’t taste bad. Durvet regular paste. Glob on finger to tongue then wash down with water. Went through a tube in 5 days. I’m 165 so it’s a little high dosage.
Was waiting for upset stomach or diarrhea but didn’t experience either. Might start another tube to double down.
My husband and I took 12mg a day for 5 days last year after we were exposed to several people with Covid. We had no side effects in fact I felt more energetic than usual. We have never had Covid and we're unvaccinated.
I took it twice and both times had lower back pain. Not sure what it was, maybe kidneys? It went away after a few very uncomfortable days where I could barely get any sleep.
I used pills that I ordered online from India.
My husband and I both took the pills a while back with no side effects. I took 12 mg, he took 24. We had read to take one dose, wait 3 days, take a second. This was as recovering from a cold, not at the beginning.
