Almost all bank stocks are outright TANKING right now.
Even JPM, the strongest of the group, has had a minor melt-down since a few days ago when it STOLE the assets of First Republic.
And Jay Powell is either the biggest moron on the planet, or the most corrupt if it is a planned meltdown.
They are likely trying to consolidate all banking assets into a few banks, and then melt those down, too, so they can usher in the digital currency/globalist banking plan.
I’m from NC so math is a challenge for me. Let me take a stab it it…
1-JP Morgan decided last minute not to travel on the titanic
2-Titanic was sank by a U boat and all those opposing FED got ded
3-FED was established by potato president
1, 2, 3 = cabal. Someone wanna check my work here?
This is notable but not the beginning. Those have been occurring over the last 4 to 5 years. My opinion is done so with purpose so the loss of brick and mortar local banks is slowly reduced. Wells Fargo alone has closed at least 70 plus branches in last 2 years. Alot of the big banks have "quietly".
One or two of the biggest banks do need to make it through this. We need those trillions of dollars backed by gold and in "stable" institutions. Not everything can crumble. Trump did say provisions are made so that citizens are affected as little as possible during the transition. Not being a Pollyanna, there are reasons he says those things. Wells Fargo has been sus for sooooo many years, though. Maybe a way to keep their shit together has been found.
Why would someone not prep? Maybe their reason is that they believe everything to be in God's hands now and put their faith in Him. I saw someone saying this just recently.
That being the case, calling them idiots for not prepping is, by extension, effectively calling them idiots for putting their faith in God and believing Him to be in control
Maybe consider that people aren't automatically idiots for having a different view on something or thinking about it differently (i.e. how leftists see us). Then you wouldn't be so surprised by downvotes.
Whether or not they have these verses and teachings internalized, if someone believes everything to be directed by God, then calling them stupid for not prepping is basically calling their faith in Him stupid, intentional or not. So, whether valid or not, it explains the downvotes from their perspective.
I could certainly get behind calling people lazy instead of stupid, however. I can't actually see much of a good reason other than laziness, or maybe some extreme circumstance, to not prep for shit hitting the fan. Seems more like these people have just given up on the required effort they would have to put in to understand what the dangers are and prepare for them.
One other point I saw be made was that you could prep for something, only for some other cataclysmic thing to happen that you didn't prep for. This argument is better but still not a good reason not to prep at all, I would say.
Financial Times is owned by a Japanese company whose new CEO is all about globalization and digitization. The Bank of Japan is close with the ECB, who I believe is at war with the Fed.
Media outlets spreading FUD about banks, causing stocks to falter, trading halts, and so on just after Powell tries to stem the FUD? Who does this serve? The ECB.
Next month is the deadline for all debt to be switched over to the SOFR system, which was put in place by a guy that Trump appointed, and taking us out of LIBOR which allowed Europe to control our monetary policy.
As an aside, the Fed is bad, but it didn't start as a central bank. They were originally a regional bank, which is why you have the New York Fed and so on. But who elevated Powell to chairman of the Fed? Trump. And did you know that Biden et al took a whole year to reconfirm Powell as chairman, all while trying force him out? If the Biden admin works for Europe (and China is just the cover) then of course they would hate to have Powell where he is. Because we know that anyone else they put in would just drop interest rates back to 0, which strengthens the ECB. As it stands, Europe is hurting over our raised interest rates.
Powell may not be "our guy" (who really knows) but I would hold off on jumping aboard the superstonk/Wallstreetbets circle jerk about him, given how easily reddit is influenced by special interests besides China.

That is nonsense.
The Federal Reserve Act created a central bank.
They have the various regional banks to make it look like a legit system, but the Fed itself was never a regional bank.

We agree on that, for sure!
If anything, do the opposite of what those scammers say.
As a big insurance company, they likely have some kind of exposure to the financial system as their reserves are going to be invested in stocks and likely some of it is invested with the financial sector. So, at least kinda...
They're retired, they have a fixed income. Been trying to get them to cut back for years, but Mom aaaabsolutely HAS to watch the Food Network and HGTV.
Sorry just meant similar. Because every budgeting/get out of debt advice out there is similar to Ramsey. For good reason I guess, it does work. I get it but do hope they can stay above water!
I just got a letter in the mail that a larger Wells Fargo branch is closing in my city and said I have to travel out to a smaller town/bank to do business. I pulled my money out weeks ago - I sensed they were in big trouble. Looks like I was right.

Hussein took credit last time; he should too this time cuz he got his “3rd term”
Anyone not prepping is an idiot.
Maybe Purkiss' trolls came to visit me.

"ready to dump as well." Would the current term be "to Nadler"? Asking for a fren.
Yes

Is USAA at risk for this?

My parents have a Bank of America account, but they aren't worried about them.
Because they have no savings to lose.
Five maxed-out credit cards.
Five.
Yikes! Get them on the Dave Ramsey or sim plan stat.
What's the sim plan? Dave Ramsey I know about.
They're retired, they have a fixed income. Been trying to get them to cut back for years, but Mom aaaabsolutely HAS to watch the Food Network and HGTV.

Nailed it.
Nailed what?
That wasn't a statement made to condemn BofA, as much as they deserve it.
That was a statement on the state of my family's finances.
Leave them (backs) with debt. Eff the banks.
What do you think will happen to credit card debt when central banks fail and the US dollar crashes?
Wouldn't it be great if there was no one to pay, so we didn't have to?
God, I hope that's the case. But I don't know, and that's what worries me.
At least their house was paid off years ago.
I just got a letter in the mail that a larger Wells Fargo branch is closing in my city and said I have to travel out to a smaller town/bank to do business. I pulled my money out weeks ago - I sensed they were in big trouble. Looks like I was right.
These banks will just be bailed out.
down 2-3%. Fear porn much? Regional banks are in trouble though
And this is why I invest in physical things not store up money in the bank.
Can't envision a scenario where these are allowed to fail.
Their pseudo solvent status gives the Fed a lot of leverage to create CBDC when the time comes. They'll have no choice but to be a party to it.
Basically the combination of their size and insolvency is intentional and planned.
