Im a concrete contractor. I am on job sites with most of these trades all day every day and while I do have two women that work for me, I can say that over 99% of the trades in my area are men.
Trucker seems about right from what I can tell nowadays. Police as well.
Don't think I've ever seen a woman working on a power line though, and statistically I should see at least one considering my area has to call other workers from out of state at least 20 times a year or some shit.
I appreciate all hard working men and women no matter their job, as long as they are one of two sexes.
Personally that is one line of work that legitimately terrifies me for multiple reasons and I absolutely applaud those who go out during/after storms to deal with the problems that pile up when managing power lines in a preventative fashion doesn't happen.
"Hey honey, go get me a tall cool beer and pop the top on it for me. I've worked hard today and feel like a refreshing beverage". Wonder how the libs will feel about that common statement.
Fire alarm, access, building controls, video, intrusion, commercial audio. It's all custom work, not cookie-cutter. Network is a little different. It's more cookie-cutter and you'll see a few women.
That makes a lot of sense. Us tech nerds handle a lot of things in-house where I work, but AV and access control is one of the things we don't touch. Too difficult and specialized for us.
I don't consider it difficult, but it's really an untaught specialty. Becomes more of a network and firewall job every day. Keeping your stuff on a security subnet while setting up access from the outside world or a general subnet is seriously tedious. You have to play nice and be firm with IT entities which would prefer your kinds of issues didn't exist.
Yes, this is why I love men. They do lots of things I cannot do. It's impressive. And I thank them all for doing these tough and tiring jobs. I guess men are pleased that women are great cooks, though! And that we look quite different from them. God has it all figured out! Life is good.
HVAC too. Got to have heat/AC.👏🥰
I think those numbers are low.
I have never once seen a female garbage collector.

#FakeNews - I distrust everything, but yes, suspect those numbers are low...

Autists also 90% men
Please thank a man of culture today, some choccy milk or good anime titties if you really want to show your gratitude

And it can't be Buttlight or Miller.
Brewers - 80% Men
We don't make Tranny Fluid....
Thank you to all our real men from real women.
No way women are 9% on oil rigs. Maybe 1%.
As an electrical superintendent, I'd like to say, try to live without us. Seriously.....
Agree, thank you for all you guys do!
Electronics Field Tech. 99.9% men for some reason. 30 years and I've never seen a woman even apply for the job.
I'm curious bublet, what does an Electronics Field Tech do?

It's a near zero for women in the field for AV and security.
I agree, I've never seen one with the company we contract with.

Just a reminder how many things that are essential are done by men to counterbalance “toxic male narrative”
"We" are not who the meme is aimed at.
So many of today's women ask why they even need men to exist. This is why. Their entire world was built and is maintained by men.

rEeeeeeeeee
Fake news most of those are between 98-100%
Notice how women aren't fighting for equal representation in those jobs for some reason.
