That's not even the funniest one. The vaccine for tetanus is absolutely hilarious. You are getting a vaccine against a toxin. Clostridium Tetani is a bacteria that is anaerobic. It survives for a very limited time in air, but it seems to thrive in ferrous oxide (rust) in the ground. If you get a deep puncture, the bacteria can get inside you and begin releasing a toxin that can cause nerve issues that is called lockjaw.
