If people start getting together to pursue some common aim the group often becomes so large that some sort of organisation is required. If that organisation is seen to acquire any power then those seeking power will gravitate towards it whether they support all the aims of the group or not.
When they have the power for themselves they want to expand that power. If that means going aginst the ideals of the original group then that is a price they are willing to pay.
Inertia being what it is, the rank and file will not notice or think that nothing can be done. Others, in even more powerful groupings, will often co-opt the current management team to help with their projects.
This is bigger than that. Satan aimed to take down the church. Pope Leo XIII had a vision of Satan and Jesus having a conversation where Satan says he will bring down his church. Jesus says, oh yeah? Go for it. Satan says he just needs time. Jesus says well you got the time. That’s when Pope Leo XIII penned the St Michael the Arch Angel prayer.
Also Mary visited a 16th century nun in the vision referred to Our Lady of Good Success in Quito Ecuador. She told her of the 20th century infiltration and the plan of the Freemasons to destroy the church. Foretold the many bishops and clergy who were would be corrupt and evil. This to me is crazy because I don’t know if Freemasons were well established in the 1500/1600s.
At a recent event called the Coalition for Canceled Priests, Dr Janet Smth investigated the pedophilia problem and corruption and it definitely is a planned Infiltration by her findings. All rotten bishops were selected just as our congressman by how easily blackmailed they could be, by a known scandal that could be revealed if they don’t play ball. Homosexuality being the main issue she then barred any homosexuals from her classes.
The original masons were in existence well before 1500. They built all those medieval castles and cathedrals. That is how they became a force to be reckoned with. They toured Europe building castles for kings, dukes, princes, popes, cardinals etc so they not only saw the world but also came into contact with all kinds of royalty. They would also know about any secret passages or secret rooms in any of those buildings.
When they changed from skilled, travelling craftsmen into occultist globalists I can't say!
Also laughable. If you read about any of the Marian apparitions and her messages there’s no way they’re of the devil. She converted a whole country with Our Lady of Guadaloupe.
Revelation 12:1 (The Woman and the Dragon)
1 A great portent appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
COMMUNIST SUBVERSION OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH - BELLA DODD
Born in Italy in 1904, into a Catholic family of nine children, Maria Asunta Isabella Visono joined her immigrant family in the United States six years later. Despite the language barrier, she became an excellent and highly motivated student. After graduation from high school, she attended Hunter College, where like Elizabeth Bentley, her exceptional talents attracted the attention of Communist professors who served as talent spotters for CP/USA and Soviet GPU and NKVD recruiters. She then went on to New York University School of Law after which she became an active member of the CP/USA.
She [Bella Dodd] said that of all the world's religions, the Catholic Church was the only one feared by the Communists, for it was its only effective opponent.
Speaking as an ex-Communist, she said: "In the 1930's, we put eleven hundred men into the priesthood in order to destroy the Church from within." The idea was for these men to be ordained and then climb the ladder of influence and authority - to come to be Monsignors and Bishops. Back then she said, "Right now they are in the highest places, and they are working to bring about change in order that the Catholic Church will no longer be effective against Communism."
She also said that these changes would be so drastic that "you will not recognize the Catholic Church." Once these men had become bishops, their influence could be widely spread because "Bishops beget bishops" and these agents would use their influence to elevate and promote clergymen who are not necessarily dedicated Communists, but who were of a progressive and liberal mentality, and whose influence could be counted on to foster a new philosophy and theology within the ranks of the clergy.
The Catholic Church either needs to be completely taken over and wiped out or a new Catholic church should emerge that actually follows doctrine. The only big changes that should happen is to allow priests to marry to draw more non-pedophiles to priesthood and no more alter boys to serve during mass or other events. Get adult volunteers like any other church. Then make it church law that no sexual predators will be protected or hidden from law enforcement. Done.
The Catholic Church v. Vatican 2 Novus Ordo Bergoglian Church
The Catholic Church will probably have to go underground while the Vatican 2 Church will be the "mainstream" supporting and supported by the globalists.
Priestly celibacy is a red herring. You get same amount of pedophiles in protestant churches and jewish synagogues. The problem is homosexuals and lax standards. Infiltration by the enemy.
Alter boys are essential to keep the priesthood alive. It’s only through aiding the priest do boys get the notion to become priests. The pedophilia is a problem, Dr Janet Smith seems to have the solution. Promote masculine priesthood, and bar homosexuals from becoming priests.
One final comment from me here: The Jewish nation could not achieve salvation through the hundreds of laws and rituals they were supposed to follow. Jesus came to fulfill the Law for EVERYONE! Jesus paid the price for the sins of ALL humans. No more rituals required for salvation. Only one requirement, to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and repent of your sins. Do you Catholics really think God would come to the Earth as a human, die on a cross so that no more rituals and laws are required to be saved, only to have a church start up where rituals and requirements are central to that church? Think! I thought Q taught you to think? I'm not going to respond to any more comments here, because I've said all that is needed to be said. Please God or please your church, your family, or whatever else your motivation is.
You only need to read through the entire Bible, and especially the New Testament, to know that the Catholic church is based on distortion of scripture, and more significantly, the desire of men to be in positions of power. God is the power, Jesus is the way. No works, rituals, etc., will result in your salvation; only faith in Christ.
And Mary’s perpetual virginity, and made the sign of the cross and kept many other sacraments. IIRC roughly in the 50’s is when the denominations started to further fracture
The post reformation was already beginning to coalesce back into one faith because the similarities were so profound and the reformation was largely accepted as having been occurred.
Then some people decided we couldn’t have one church…
What I found interesting is that Martin Luther STILL believed, after his posting of the 95 theses, that the bread and wine became the ACTUAL body and blood of Christ during communion. The fact that Jesus held bread and wine during the last supper, and said "take, and eat, this is my body, this is my blood" makes it clear that He was referring to the figurative nature of the communion elements. Jesus spoke in parables, so why Catholics think he was being literal in that situation seems pretty odd.
Now that I am aware of what the upper echelons of the catholic church are up to, right along side the global cabal, their illogical interpretation only stands for cannibalism, as far as I’m concerned. The thought of literally eating the flesh and blood of Christ, is straight from satan’s playbook. That’s a satanic ritual.
Christ didn’t literally rip his flesh off and pour out his blood for his disciples to eat and drink, it says so right in the Bible.
It couldn’t be more simple to understand, yet folks continue to argue it. Blows my mind!!
That’s crazy to me because many times when people read the entire Bible they realize the Catholic Church is the one true faith and many conversions occur.
And you’re wrong, you are not saved on faith alone. You must never sin. Catholics who study their faith know this and work tirelessly to overcome vice to receive graces that make overcoming sin so much easier. The church was founded by Jesus and his apostles were the first priests. If you consider yourself Christian your ancestors were practicing Catholics. If you have a sin you can’t shake, go to confession and soon you’ll get sick of confessing it all the time and you quit it. I don’t understand the beef with confession either. People don’t sit there and examine their consciousness and make themselves confront their sins. They say they do but the don’t.
I fell away for a decade or more years. The Great Awakening brought me back to God and I started investigating spiritual warfare since this fight is spiritual in nature. If you have a demonic presence in your home, you call a priest. Your Protestant pastor can’t do shit, in fact lay people can make the problem worse. Exorcist priests are well versed on how to eradicate evil afflictions. Exorcism is real and Christ himself cast out many demons. Priests cast out demons in his name and only Christ can cast them out through them. The priests aren’t doing it, Christ is, the priest is his tool. Deliverance only occurs through ordained priest, it’s a fact, if you deny this you’re ill informed.
Plus logically who do the Satanists attack the most? Catholics. They mirror the Catholic mass with their black masses. They have satanic high priests. Tabernacles have locks because Satanists steal the consecrated hosts for evil purposes. You only need to know who the enemy hates the most to see who you should align yourself with.
I could list Eucharistic miracles and Marian apparitions as proof. Look into a well documented miracle at Fatima. Do it.
It’s crazy people will believe in supernatural evil events but that God doesn’t perform miracles anymore. They happen you just won’t hear of them for a reason.
Where did you get the idea that "you must never sin"? I have never heard that, and certainly I haven't read that in the Bible. Perhaps you are conflating writings of Popes with the Bible. That's like conflating writings of Confucious with the Bible.
And concerning people reading the Bible and "realizing the Catholic Church is the one true faith". You kind of highlighted the problem right there in calling the Catholic Church a faith. And I think the number of Protestants who convert to being a Catholic is on par with the number of Republicans who convert to Democrats; a rare happening.
John 8
[10] When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
[11] She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Perhaps the stats do show people leaving Catholicism. But isn’t it a greater leap to convert to Catholicism? The ones who do, questioned Catholicism and once they explore it to try and refute it they realize its true nature and that it has the best tools to get to Heaven.
There you go "best tools to get to Heaven". That pretty much says it all! There are no "tools" to get to Heaven! Wake up! Read your Bible! Jesus is the only way to Heaven! Wow! I had no idea how lost many Catholics are until reading your post!
Jesus is the only way. We do that by loving Him and devoting our life to him. What better way to do that by communion with him every Sunday by being in his literal presence, examining our consciousness and understanding our short comings to overcome them, and praying fervently. Those are the tools I speak of. I’m sorry you think it’s just reading the Bible that will get you into heaven. We have to repent and do more than that. I understand your belief is that He isn’t present in the Eucharist, but He truly is. There’s well documented Eucharistic miracles. Honestly, look into the Saints, Padre Pio, Saint Faustina. Look into Our Lady of Guadeloupe and that miracle. The cloak still is so preserved, and modern microscopes see in her eyes three effects of image refraction. Christ still visits us and sends us messages, His word didn’t end at The Book of Revelation.
Why can’t people go straight to God in confession?
This is my biggest beef with modern catholicism. Not near enough one-on-one with God. Substituting priests, saints, etc. for what should be taken directly to God, is worshipping false idols for the majority of modern catholics.
I’m not saying this 100% the intent of the modern catholic church, it may very well be, but my conclusions above are based on conversations with many modern catholics. I have yet to meet one that can talk their way into me accepting this practice. And I’m married to one…
I pray everyday for the truth to change their hearts.
I was born and raised Roman Catholic. I love my family and I know they mean well.
In my studies, I've deduced the church of Thyatira in Revelation to represent the Roman Catholics. Revelation 2:19 is the text book definition of a devout Catholic.
Revelation 2:18-29
18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
19 I knowthy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
28 And I will give him the morning star.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
These verses give me great comfort, because they inform me the Roman Catholics who faithfully follow what they're taught and do not know the depths of Satan will be forgiven.
I'm assuming that is the verse regarding works. But James is referring to works done as a result of faith, not as a guilty obligation or requirement to ensure their faith is actually going to provide salvation. The sum total of the New Testament can't be any clearer on the fact that salvation comes from faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, so that nobody can claim that they "earned" salvation; it is a gift of God.
"As a body without spirit is dead, so to is faith without works dead" or something to that effect.
The notion that works of faith would "earn" anything is a new one to me as I always assumed the two worked hand in hand - true faith influences every aspect of life resulting in works of faith.
Though it seems I misinterpreted the nature of your original comment as "faith does not require works."
Yes, it is salvation that does not require works, but as James said, if you have been saved, your salvation will be apparent by your works. What works a Christian should do is the hard thing to know.
Your spirit if made new in Christ bears the fruits(works) of such. Think of all the parables that Christ used in things that bear fruit and those that don’t. You will know the tree by its fruits … etc.
This scripture isn’t telling us anything anymore profound than what Christ has already stated. No idea why some Christians get so upset over this one line of scripture when in fact most that have accepted Christ and rejected the flesh already exhibit the merits of this scripture.
Catholics use ONE VERSE, taken out of context, to justify the ENTIRE CATHOLIC CHURCH! The verse is Matthew 16:18
"And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it". Peter was expressing his faith in Jesus as the Christ. It was Peter's faith that Jesus was referring to when saying "on this rock". Numerous verses refer to faith as being the basis of salvation, not works. The Catholic church stresses works and adherence to rituals; rituals instituted by the Catholic church. The Old Testament is a long account of how rituals ("The Law") were a stumbling block to salvation of the Jews. Jesus came to fulfil the Law for all humans, resulting in no ritual, no work, NOTHING but the blood of Jesus, as the payment for our sins. So many Catholics experience the true freedom of Christ when they walk away from the Catholic church, and embrace the church of Jesus. I'm not saying that there are not saved Christians in the Catholic church, but it is clear the Catholic church is an example of how Satan can corrupt. Satan knows that he can't win, but tries numerous ways to hinder Christianity. What better way to hinder than to promote various aberrations of Christianity in the world; Catholicism, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, to name three. And the Protestant churches are not free of this, with many denominations caving to the ways of the world, accepting such abominations as "Gay marriage" among other things.
so how do you think the Catholic church misinterpreted 'on this rock?'
Occam's razor suggests Peter was in fact the rock, since Peter means rock.
I don't believe Catholics practice idolatry or ritual magic. Its all based on faith in God.
Of course that's not a defense of the official catholic church in recent years, which has become as infiltrated as any other public organization. all denominations of Christianity have been targeted for infiltration. ...and have always talked shit about each other anyways. i'm not sold yet.
Because "on this rock" is referring to the faith of Peter. Jesus called Peter ("rock"), because of his faith. The Christian church (fellowship of all Christians) is based on Jesus, not Peter or any other man. How does it magnify Christ to have the Catholic church include so many rituals and works? Does praying to Mary in Heaven glorify God? The Catholic church only allowed people to actually read the Bible very recently. It is so utterly clear, if you read through the Bible, that the Catholic church is so wrong on so many things. U.S. Treasury agents don't learn what counterfeit currency looks like. They only study real U.S. currency so that it is ingrained in their minds so indelibly that they IMMEDIATELY recognize when they are handling counterfeit bills. If you become familiar with the Bible enough, you IMMEDIATELY recognize false teaching, whether by the Catholic church, or any Protestant denomination or church. If you are a Christian, I encourage you to read through the entire Bible, and then see if what I am saying is not true. If you are not a Christian, the Bible may not make too much sense, so reading through the New Testament is a good start, but until you accept Jesus as your Savior, even reading the New Testament may not make sense. With Christianity, first you believe, then you see.
Latin was the language of European scholarship until the 1800s. Anyone who could read knew Latin. If the RCC didn't want people reading the Bible they wouldn't have translated it into the language everyone on the whole continent spoke in the first place.
And how many people could read latin? Seriously, it wasn't until the 20th century that Catholics were allowed to read a Bible printed in their language, correct?
I can see where you're coming from, I just don't think the Catholic position is any less valid than your own. Does praying to the mother of God glorify God? Why shouldn't it?
to me it seems like the depth of symbolism in the Catholic church is indicative of the depth of symbolism in the Bible. Simple and complex are not mutually exclusive terms.
and hey, i've even resisted mentioning the whole 'faith without works' thing. in which i usually favour faith as well, but certainly not at the prohibition of 'works'.
Whenever i hear stuff against the Catholic church, its either from reeeing atheists, or the kind of people who think having a painting or poster on your wall or a wooden bracelet is idolatry. all of whom are entitled to their opinions...
but the only ones I find credible are those who point out that the pope is a pedophile and the church has been infiltrated. because that's not ridiculous.
the rest is just more of the same theological debate that's been going on since forever. honestly, I think that debate should be discouraged on GAW. this is not the place to gatekeep Christianity and push your own brand.
The Catholic obsession with Mary is just not supported by Biblical text. Mary was a Virgin when Jesus was born, but Jesus had siblings, so Mary did not remain a virgin! I'm not aware of any Bible verse where praying to Mary, or anyone else besides Jesus/God is done, or referred to. God is so far above human existence, that it is insulting to God to pray to anyone other than God.
Clearly others have interpreted Biblical text differently than yourself. My beliefs don't have to make sense to you if they make sense to me. I don't think its a stretch to consider Mary worthy of prayer if she was worthy of bearing God's son. If you don't understand how that's relevant, then just stick to God. Simple as.
Does praying to the mother of God glorify God? Why shouldn't it?
Exodus 20:4-6
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Catholics often pray to statues, so they removed the second commandment from their version of the Ten Commandments, and split the tenth commandment into two separate commandments about covetousness, hoping nobody would notice.
This worked well when the scriptures were hidden behind ancient Greek, Hebrew, and Latin, and nobody could read. Not so much anymore.
Luke 8:19-20
19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.
20 And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.
21 And he answered and said unto them,My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
You're right about works though. Works don't save you, but if you truly believe in Christ, works are evidence of the changes happening within. You write the commandments on your heart and live by the spirit, and not just the letter of the law.
John 8:11
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
And when we inevitably stumble?
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I can see how there could be disagreements, but I can't come to the same conclusions that you have. and I really don't see any value in trying to emphasize differences between Christians on this platform. I know we have atheists and Jews here, and I'd be willing to bet we have a handful of Muslims and witches as well. Can we just appreciate the people that speak up against evil, such as Vigano?
Jesus also told Simon Peter to "Get behind me, Satan," in that very same chapter of Matthew, when Peter suggested they shouldn't allow Jesus' sacrifice to manifest.
Christ restored our ability to have a right relationship with God. Our failings in that were the only reason the Israelites set up a monarchy in the first place. To believe that God needs an earthly monarchy in order to organize His Kingdom would be to say that God is incapable of reaching us personally.
The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
Yeshua (AKA Jesus), the master of parables, is comparing the pebble Cephas to Himself. the chief corner stone.
Matthew 21:42
Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
The rock is Jesus, not Peter. Paul agrees -
Ephesians 2:20
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
And so does Peter!
1 Peter 2:1-10
2 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
All you've said here is that Christ is the cornerstone, which nobody disagreed with in the first place. Peter's name is not an accident. and personally i'm not seeing anything that incriminates Catholics.
Too bad they don't preach what is in it. Seriously, you can't read through the Bible and NOT see how much is wrong with the Catholic church. I always thought it was funny that when Catholics are asked, "What religion are you?", they'll say "I'm Catholic", but if a Protestant is asked what religion they are, they say, "I'm Christian".
They are blinded by dogma. The Roman Catholic Church is the synagogue of Satan. People are not able to understand that, since, in many cases, they do love God, and this is the only way they have ever worshipped. And - it's run by Satan.
The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus. The Apostles the first priests. The Bible everyone reads was written by the first Catholics. It’s infiltrated and corrupted just as the United States is run by satanic pedophiles. Does that mean the founding fathers are satanic pedophiles? You’re reaching.
The Roman Catholic Church was founded by the Roman Empire.
Other than legends, there's no records of an actual Pope until the time of Constantine.
Emperor Constantine called the Council of Nicaea, and commissioned a Bible. The Codex Vaticanus, Codex Sinaiticus, and Codex Alexandrinus, which all modern Bibles are based on, are assumed to be related to Constantine's Bible.
Look into the Edict of Milan and the Edict of Thessalonica if you want to know when the early Roman Catholic Church actually came into being.
You should teach people like me. I am Roman Catholic and in the Bible is shown about Mary the mother of Jesus. I do not pray any statues but I go to Catholic Churches pray only to Jesus and God. Once in a while I ask the mother of Jesus. I have seen a lot of miracles, I have heard beautiful angelic songs twice and I felt the presence of Holy Spirit after mass in Holy Week before Easter. I have never been as happy this year for Holy Thursday, felt something in my heart like more devoted and closer to God and he knows how much I love him. You seem very wise and kind, I hope you had the same experience or better.
Thanks for sharing that, I heard angels singing during Mass once as well when I was a little. Will never forget how beautiful it was, what heaven sounds like. When you're close to God, miracles happen every day. God bless you.
Sadly, this is just human nature at work.
If people start getting together to pursue some common aim the group often becomes so large that some sort of organisation is required. If that organisation is seen to acquire any power then those seeking power will gravitate towards it whether they support all the aims of the group or not.

Yep. Q helping clean house in the church too. Definitely Biblical!

The Jesuits infiltrated Freemasonry. It was a planned infiltration.
Ecclesiastes 9:5
For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
I don't believe that was Mary.
2 Corinthians 11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Also laughable. If you read about any of the Marian apparitions and her messages there’s no way they’re of the devil. She converted a whole country with Our Lady of Guadaloupe.
If the dead can't hear us, how can Mary or the saints hear us?
Those in heaven can hear us.

The_Watcher, that's an excellent description of the toxic nature of Power.
Power over others attracts psychopaths and sociopaths almost hypnotically AND is hellishly addictive and corrupting once attained.
"That government is best, which governs not at all." ~ Henry David Thoreau, in Civil Disobedience.
Radical? Yes, in the sense of going to the heart of the matter. Forcible government is the worst way to do ANYTHING.
Not a popular opinion on this board, but true nonetheless.
Power abhors a vacuum, and it is likely filled by the biggest meanest sob in town. I think a republic is the best we can do in our circumstances.
Amen. God gave Satan those years as a chastisement, but his Mother always crushes the head of the snake in the end.

Vatican III

Numina18 said: The Roman Catholic Church is the synagogue of Satan.
If you are so smart, what about the Catholics who are not Roman Catholics?
Notice how everyone who bashes Catholics never state what denomination they follow. I would be interested to know which denomination teaches hatred.
I don't follow any denomination. I've come out of Babylon.
Cool. Now ask the same question about America.
Done.
There will most likely be a major schism.

Abomination
Spot-on, on so many levels!
Did you know that until the reformation all christians believed in the real presence in the Eucharist?
And Mary’s perpetual virginity, and made the sign of the cross and kept many other sacraments. IIRC roughly in the 50’s is when the denominations started to further fracture
The post reformation was already beginning to coalesce back into one faith because the similarities were so profound and the reformation was largely accepted as having been occurred.
Then some people decided we couldn’t have one church…
King Henry was even awarded "Defender of the Faith" for his position on the Eucharist
All Christians were originally Catholic.
I prefer to say something more like.... the apostles and early christians shared the beliefs of today's practicing catholics.
I know of many who didn't both before and after the Reformation and their throats were slit because of it.
They were deemed to be heretics and there were entire villages which were slaughtered in the name of the Bread God.
I mean, they were by definition heretics lol, not saying killing them was right but they definitely were.
Hebrews 10:12
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
No need for further sacrifices, and that's not a heretical statement, but rather a Biblical statement.
I point this out all the time.
Thank you fren, great post! Truth!
John 8 [10] When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
James 2:26
Ie feeding the poor …
A person can be saved on their deathbed by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord, Saviour, and Redeemer. That's all it takes.
As you say, works of faith are not required. I highly recommend to all to not push that scenario though :).
Works of faith are just that...you do these things because of your faith, not to gain credibility.
You do those things because you love your Creator and you wish to fulfill the purpose you were created for.
Also, you don't brag about the good things you're doing if you want your reward to come from the Father rather than your fellow man.
True this. That's why its "works of faith" and not works for faith.
where's the distortion?
Catholics use ONE VERSE, taken out of context, to justify the ENTIRE CATHOLIC CHURCH! The verse is Matthew 16:18 "And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it".
"The Catholic church only allowed people to actually read the Bible very recently."
That is just a straight up lie.
The first book EVER printed was a Latin Bible.
And nobody but the priests could read Latin...
20th century? LOL
Douay Rheims was 1582 homeboy.
BEFORE the King James
Simple as.
Exodus 20:4-6
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
Catholics DON'T "pray to statues"! So tired of this ignorant and false statement.
Peter, or Cephas here, means pebble.
Psalm 118:22
The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
Yeshua (AKA Jesus), the master of parables, is comparing the pebble Cephas to Himself. the chief corner stone.
Matthew 21:42
Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
The rock is Jesus, not Peter. Paul agrees -
Ephesians 2:20
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
The corner stone is the rock on which the church is built, not the pebble.
what exactly is the relevance of this seemingly obvious statement?
The Bible is a Catholic book, bro.
All they do is preach what is in it. You've been seriously misguided about what Catholics do and believe.

Always has been.
Naw, the Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ.
The Roman Empire became a Catholic nation, but it did not found the Catholic Church.
I believe the Holy Apostolic Church.
Amen. Yes, it is beyond beautiful can’t explain it, just the ones who have heard it know the feeling.
James 1:8
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
