Yup. Beats the heck out of - and is factually true - the cry of corrupt politicos who keep calling our country a democracy. It's not. The Leftists and RHINOs want a democracy (via cheating) so they can then turn it into a socialist/communist hell hole and force others to think like them and above all obey.
Oh, it’s a victory for them. The same victory they planned. They knew they didn’t have any real charges. But Paxton is besmirched. This is the same thing they did to Trump. Three times now. Psychological warfare.
No, the show trial was done to force the accusers to finally show what they had or shut up. They've been engaging in a constant "rumor" war on Paxton for years. They would never tell what Paxton actually did, but always "It was so, so bad".
So republicans forced them to say it before the public and it turned out they had nothing. Now Paxton has been proven 100% innocent and his accusers exposed for the frauds they are.
Dan Patrick is a white hat and a well known conservative. The Lt. Guv is the most powerful position in Texas. He is also head of the senate and controls the trial.
It was over before it began, but now the mean girls who kept trying to always spread hearsay about Paxton are exposed. They couldn't come up with crap.
It is a resounding victory for conservatives and shows what a fraud Paxton's accusers were. Paxton is not besmirched, his reputation is finally cleared.
And now, Texans have the proof of who are the compromised RINOS. They have shown who they are by their votes to impeach Paxton. These puppets for the Bush machine must GO!
Now we need to vote all those House and Senate members that voted to impeach out of office, we cannot let any of them slip through the cracks. Time to take our state back…..WWG1WGA
he had an amazing attorney. Maybe Trump should look at him to help in his defense because this guy laid it out clearly concisely and thoroughly. and won!
I would advise AG Paxton to fire all those in his office that went to the FBI with inuendo and malice to report unprovable deeds. Congratulations to the Paxton team for defeating the Bush dirty tricks cabal.
A couple of them resigned and the remainder were fired in mid to late 2020. They filed a wrongful termination suit under the State whistleblower law and entered into an out of court settlement for over 3 million dollars. The settlement was contingent on being funded by the legislature which the House refused to do during the last session early this year. This was the catalyst for the impeachment resolution and served as the basis for at least three of the articles of impeachment which Paxton won by a 16 to 14 vote in the Senate. The next legislative session won't be until the beginning of 2025 so no money for the settlement until then or possibly ever. Overall this was a good day in Texas.
Pretty much every single article has this incorrect. Paxton was acquitted on 12 charges out of 16, and the Senate voted to dismiss the other 4. He was acquitted on 12 and 4 were completely dismissed. The end result is the same - Paxton is back at work - but that is just shitty journalism and shows how much each news organization copies from each other.
Interestingly that says a lot (the dismissals). Votes for impeachment articles require 2/3 to convict, but the vote to dismiss 4 of the articles only required a majority. For the dems to go along with that vote and not force 4 more acquittals I think it means they didn't think they even had a chance.
Sad part is even this article says he was acquitted of all 16 articles. Just look at the last vote - "MOTION TO DISMISS OTHER IMPEACHMENT ARTICLES". Since that passed those 4 articles were dismissed. You can't be acquitted on something if the article was never voted on.
Oh, I think you can rest assured that they have the stories written well in advance of what happens. Different propaganda stories to cover multiple outcomes.
There were originally 20 articles and he was acquitted on 16 and the other 4 were dismissed. Since there were only 30 Senators voting, Paxton only had to receive 10 votes on each article for acquittal. The least number of actual acquittal votes for any article was 16. To dismiss the 4 remaining articles, a majority of the Senate (16 votes) was required. The actual vote was 19 yes and 11 no. If the dismissed articles had been voted on, only 10 votes each would have been need to acquit.
They'd need 21 votes (9 republicans must join 12 democrats). Any republican who voted for impeachment would be crucified in republican primaries. And they KNOW it.
Democrats could have stalled and prolonged things by voting against dismissal, but it looks like they threw in the towel on that. The prosecution looked incompetent.
Ever since Paxton came into office they've been trying to ruin his reputation through a rumor war. All they did was "did you hear about this AWFUL thing he did?" When asked what he did they'd just keep implying it was awful but never tell anyone what he did.
So the accusers were dragged out and force to put up or shut up. Say what he did or SHUT UP.
The trial forced them to show they never had anything on him. They were just using rumors and gossip. The senate trial was controlled by Dan Patrick who has always been a solid conservative here in Texas. Trump has posed with him giving a big thumbs up and grin next to Dan Patrick.
Now that the rumor war is put to rest, Ken Paxton can use his powers of AG to investigate the corrupt who have been trying everything to stop him.
Of course, this was obvious from the start. 21 votes out of 31 would require 9 republicans to vote for it and then face conservatives in their primary races.
They'd just need to retire at that point because voters would throw them out in the republican primary.
There is something important here. The other day it took me almost 30 minutes to find out how every republican voted in the TX House on this impeachment. All of the TX news websites seemed to want to hide it. We have some awful newspapers/websites - all very far left.
It will be hard for normies to see that info - especially if they don't follow any of this and don't know they are getting crap fed to them. Our side has to do a better job when most of these people watch CNN or FNC and have no idea what is really happening under their noses.
Enjoy the victory. Hopefully, this was the last gasp of the Bush cabal in Texas.
I hope so, too. The Bush cabal needs to die a swift political death. They are poison to our Constitutional Republic.
I never get tired of hearing "Constitutional Republic."
Yup. Beats the heck out of - and is factually true - the cry of corrupt politicos who keep calling our country a democracy. It's not. The Leftists and RHINOs want a democracy (via cheating) so they can then turn it into a socialist/communist hell hole and force others to think like them and above all obey.
Yea, Tucker did that the other day. I thought the same thing.
Oh, it’s a victory for them. The same victory they planned. They knew they didn’t have any real charges. But Paxton is besmirched. This is the same thing they did to Trump. Three times now. Psychological warfare.
And it kept Paxton from pursuing the Biden Admin for 4 months.
^^ The real crime that was committed ^^

THIS! 👆

It doesn't work to their favor ... the people seeing now
Fortunately on that front at least, it is less effective each time they pull this shit
Ha, I wish. Big victory but I wouldn't go that far
Now we need to vote all those House and Senate members that voted to impeach out of office, we cannot let any of them slip through the cracks. Time to take our state back…..WWG1WGA
Starting with Dade the Drunk!
I will happily drive Dade to the Mexican border and drop him off...
Absolutely. I know I will do my part.

That explains a lot, thanks for the background.
Now Texans have the name of every RINO in the state legislature and can vote or shame these traitors out of office.
The tide is clearly turning
Enjoy this battle won. We’re not winning everywhere. Remember Maui!
NICE!

They don’t copy each other. They all get their news from the same place.

I get what you're sayin' - but it is not 4am yet. They did this on their own.

Does that mean here comes the pain? He was about to sue the vaccine manufacturers for fraud when he got railroaded.

Texas Attorney General Kenneth Paxton Acquitted in Senate Impeachment Trial, Reinstated as AG
Was there any doubt? No crime just like President Trumpjust a diversion
Impeachment was impossible.

Absolutely on target! 🎯👆
Ken Paxton can use his powers as AG. Dan is LG.
BTW - you are spot on with Dan. He was the only TX state official to attend the last Trump rally in TX.
WAR.
MAJOR WIN!!!! And state Attorneys General is where the action is. I don't remember any DOJ or FBI in the Constitution. Do you?
Your Honor, I rest my case

Sooo Texas, Now that you know who the RINO’s are, What the fuck are you going to do about it?
You and Arizona are starting to look a little purple to me. That leads to blue.
Get rid of the big fancy hat and get some cattle. Bulls preferably...

By by bushes. Go your ass back to Maine. I hope KP really goes after the criminals now.
