She needs to be thrown out.
It wasn't a trial balloon she floated. She actually made the order and signed the paper. She broke her oath and committed an illegal act.
Saying "oops" and backtracking should never be enough, I want to see her sued to oblivion when she gets out of prison and finishes paying restitution for costs incurred by her overt traitorous act against the people of the United States in general and New Mexico in particular.
They are testing the waters. We need to stand firm, and not let her overstep one inch!

Lujan is a very old and well-established name in legal, educational and business circles. Even down in Las Cruces, where I lived. Basically, consolidating a lot of power in many towns and cities.
And therein lays the Problem....
Yep! I lived in Las Cruces (Southern New Mexico) for many years which is just 45 minutes north of my hometown of El Paso, Texas. Las Cruces had many opportunities to have manufacturing come into the outskirts of the town, which would allow the poor, mostly Hispanic population to have a chance to obtain well-paying jobs. The government would not give any tax breaks to the companies, of course, but above that...they didn't want the companies to come in at all and "ruin the charm of the small town feel." Which means, keep everyone poor with no opportunities. New Mexico is the 2nd poorest state in the US. You know who comes to Las Cruces? Retired wealthy people from the northeast US, they come in with all their money and the kinds of businesses that pop up are boutiques, high-end restaurants, aesthetics, plastic surgery, decor and furnishings...and guess who works in those places for low wages? Yeah.
The Mayor and his crooneys on the city council did the Same thing to my hometown in the BE Corner....
A Rich man from Amarillo came there to make more Money, added some 200 People to my town and about the same to the neighboring town, and he set up his HQ on our Main Street....
Well, he put a Solid Million into the School, we had Everything a school should have, you could have gone to school in Kinder and come out a Journeyman, or Certified Welder, Plumber, Mechanic, etc....
The Mayor got Jealous, and they literally ran him out of the County, Jobs and all....
The things I wanted to do to the Mayor and his City Council....
But, I went to the army instead....
I would've been the Biggest Homes Rental Guy in like six Counties....
And HE, Mr. Amarillo, would have happily paid all of the Rents, because they would have been all working for him....
The Possibilities were Endless, and one Mayor and his Buddies stole it all from Me and My County....
I'm so sorry. The elitists don't want just any old person to join their exclusive club of wealth. Heck, they don't even want us to have enough to pay all our bills, forcing us to have two jobs and then there isn't any time to notice what corruption they are up to. But they underestimate our abilities to work THREE jobs and still see them for what they are.

3.5 years too late on that one. She locked NM down even harder than Cuomo, Whitmer, and Newsom did their states, and just like with Whitmer had to start having the Health Secretary sign the "health" emergency orders because the courts took that power away from her.
The victory is not "Resounding" until this skank is impeached and removed.

Treason is a very specific crime; this wasn't it.

Joe Biden unfreezing $6B in funding for a hostile foreign nation that has repeatedly called for, threatened and even caused death of our citizenry is treason.
Repugnancy to the Constitution is something else entirely, and does need to be met with removal of any official who espouses beliefs repugnant to the Constitution.

Make an example out of her, kick her out of office for breaking her oath.
Jail time for her is the only acceptable terms for her future. Any action like this should be considered treason.
There's a different punishment for treason.
My point is there are far too many posts about "yeah, showem we wont stand for it" yadda yadda.
It being reversed will never keep it from being attempted again. They need punished like the criminals they are. There NEEDS to ve a punishment for politicians overstepping the constitution. There cant be excuses for it. Its their oath. Their purpose. Uphold and protect the constitution.

Governors should not be allowed to declare "emergencies" willy nilly to abuse the emergency powers. We need to consider how many crazy, evil, or captured/controlled governors exist. They can't be allowed to do this, period. They should NEVER be allowed this power.
